I'm disappointed that I can't review the food. I called right as they opened on a Saturday afternoon to make reservations for 7:30pm the same day. The woman that answered took my information and said see you tonight. While walking up to the restaurant, we see that a party has taken one of the rooms and the other room is completely full. It took a few minutes for the manager/owner to check in with us. I told him I had made a reservation for 4 people for 7:30. He told me it would be a few minutes. As we waited, another 4 person, 7:30 reservation came in. We started talking and the other group said they kinda had a feeling this would happen because the person that took their reservation wanted them to come in later, but accepted the 7:30 reservation. After waiting 15 minutes, I told the manager that we would be giving up our reservation and going somewhere else. He said "sorry", but offered no explanation or real apology. On a positive note, there was no wait for a table at Celtic Corner and the food was amazing. I will try Due Fratelli on a week night and update my review. read more

We had a baby shower for my daughter here yesterday. Met with Brianna over the summer, and all went as we planned. Room was so cozy, and food was delicious. We had mussels on the buffet table, and they were clean, with no sand. Eggplant is fabulous Staff is very accommodating. Bathrooms are clean. Price is great too. Highly recommend. One side note: Two of my guests ordered tea, and they only had chamomile, and green tea. They wanted good old Lipton, but made do. Will be back. Thank you. read more

My husband and I just started dining at Due Fratelli this past March and it has quickly become our new favorite restaurant. The food is EXCELLENT! We have gotten pasta, chicken, fish, veal and pork chops and have been thrilled with everything we have tried. The price points are so reasonable, especially in today's financial climate. It is so nice to see the chef/owner keeping prices down, while still maintaining such high quality. I have to say though, the absolute best part of Due Fratelli is the service! Everyone who works there is incredibly professional and kind, but I need to call out two extraordinary young ladies, Brianna and Jasmine. They are both attentive, helpful and patient. Being new to the area. We received a coupon in mail for our birthday. So we gave the restaurant a chance and it was well worth it. When we walked in we were welcomed like you were regulars and waitresses were exceptional with not rushing to take your orders. Love the ambiance with brick walls like old Italian restaurant. We go here often for dinner but recently had a shower at Due Fratelli and the experience was great! Brianna, Jasmin and Zack are all such pleasant and hardworking workers, who were beyond patient and accommodating. Our party had about 70 people and our guests all praised the food and service. We were beyond pleased and so happy we made the decision to have our party here. I highly recommend coming to Due Fratelli for a nice meal or if you're looking to host a larger gathering. They will not disappoint you and will go above and beyond to meet your needs. My favorite dish btw is their lobster ravioli :) read more

This was my first visit to Due Fratelli. It was a Friday at noon. I ordered the Penna Rustica. I enjoyed my meal while watching traffic out the window and listening to Boyz II Men on a satellite music station. Included with the dish was bread and a salad with my choice of House Italian dressing. The salad was perfect as it was neither too dry nor too soggy. Unfortunately the bread was so hard. I've never eaten bread before where I was concerned about the potential of loosing a tooth. The rollercoaster of a meal continued when I had a delicious main course including yummy shrimp. There's no huge portions but collectively the three servings make up a good sized lunch. read more

Meeting relatives at the restaurant because my son and his now wife had their rehearsal dinner there. We were aware that the restaurant had changed owners however heard some good things. Unfortunately that was not our experience ! The server was not friendly, pushed us to order and appeared as though we were an inconvenience. Sat in a table for four in the middle of the room. It was quite clear they were not that busy. As we were finishing our dinner the staff began to break down the tables around us. Offered coffee however not dessert. The food was just okay. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone! They need a lot of work to make this restaurant somewhere I would return to. read more

Unfortunately I had a gender reveal at this restaurant and the service was horrible. I was told that the rooms would be set up with a certain amount of tables and table cloths. When I got to the restaurant the room had broken tables, extra tables, extra chairs, and not enough table cloths like I was promised. When I asked the woman who was the wife of the owner to please help us remove the tables or where could we place the tables to clean out the room she gave us an attitude and stated we have nowhere to place the tables. After a while she was able to place the tables outside. The party started at 12 the appetizers did not come out until after 130 I had to ask for the appetizers to come out. Constantly having to ask for the waiter to come in and help us. I was told that they would be two waiters throughout the party there was only one. I had to ask for someone to come and pick up the appetizers plates and the bread plates so that my guests can have space to eat their main meal. By the time my guests served their main meal The food was cold. Again I had to ask for a waiter to come out and serve sodas and waters . When it was time to cut the cake I had to ask for small plates and spoons. It was a total of 40 guest and one waiter who was not available and I had to constantly keep looking for her. Although I understand it is not her fault her attitude was horrible & unapologetic. The food was definitely not worth the money that was paid for Nor the service that we did not receive. Appetizers include fried calamari, mussels, and eggplant rollatini. Next comes a choice of soup or salad. Entrees include all the specials of the day as well as such great dishes as sole francese and, according to my husband, the best chicken parmigiana he has ever had. We had reservations for 4:30. We were seated 15 minutes after our arrival despite having reservations. The reservations were for two people. We had ordered our food at 4:55 and was not served until 5:45. Dessert was ordered at 6:00 and wasn't served until 7:00. We only had two choices for dessert. Very disappointing. Go next door! This place just pulled the biggest bait and switch with long time customers I have ever seen. My father in law loved this place, so much so a few weeks ago we tried to get to the Sunday buffet. When we arrived they were having a party in the buffet room, yet the sign was outside so we said we would try again some other time. Friday we call and say we would like to come down for the buffet will it be open or are you having a party? He said, no party come on down no problem. We arrived today and again the sign was outside, and again there was a party. So, no buffet, even after we explained that we called. Oh so sorry.. bla blah. So the waiter goes to the kitchen, returns and comes back with a compromise. He explained it, but it was not clear. So we reiterated and wanted to make sure we understood what he was saying. We did this twice during the ordering of the apps and entree's. This is what we were offered for the same $ 24.95, we would get apps, entrée's and desert. Sounded reasonable, for the inconvenience twice and the fact we have been there many times. The appetizers arrive, shrimp cocktail with 2 pieces of shrimp, calamari with a few pieces, and clams in a white sauce with 4 clams each. At no time were we told we were getting half portions, or less. We immediately voiced our concern with the waiter. He went back to the kitchen, they gave us two more 2 piece shrimp cocktails. We asked our waiter, are we getting 1/2 portion dinners also, we would like to know right now. He came back and said no. The dinners arrived and yes they were much reduced portions. Zuppa de pesci, with one shrimp, two clams, one scallop and 4 mussels. 2 orders of the strip steak, the steak was cut in half after it was cooked showing where the individual steak was cut. We immediately asked to talk to the owner. We were told he was not there, then demanded to speak to someone in the kitchen. When he came out we asked are you the owner, he said yes but was very nervous. I do not believe he was the owner. He bought out another steak that was cut in half. He then said oh for $24.95, you will also be getting desserts. What we were offered, was not the full desert menu, it was a choice of a small scoop of ice cream and a sliver of some raspberry tart. So basically we paid over full price for 6 dinners that were half portioned out with a small desert. My advice, go to Justins, they know how to treat long time customers. Or do yourself a big favor and go to Villa Verde in Wayne. read more
