Was out in West Boca and decided to stop into Duffys for lunch. This on is in Mission Bay on 441 and there's plenty of parking directly in front of the restaurant. They had a nice lunch special, and it even included weekends since we were there on a Saturday. $13.99 for a Chopped Draft House Salad with a drink and for $3 more you can upgrade the drink to a margarita. The salad was big it had Chicken, smoked bacon, crumbled blue cheese, tomato, hard-boiled egg, cucumber, and red onion on top of crisp iceberg lettuce. We got to watch a some sports on tv and the pre-show to the Kentucky Derby. It was a nice relaxing lunch. read more

I ONLY REVIEW NACHOS. The bartender talked up Duffy's nachos like she had stock in the place. Turns out she was right. That doesn't happen often in this series. Hand-cut chips that held up start to finish. Queso blanco distributed across every chip. No naked chips. No lettuce avalanche. No Fork Rule violation. This is what nacho construction is supposed to look like and most places can't figure it out. The sriracha aioli exists -- I confirmed it on a napkin test. You just won't taste it on the plate. The blackened chicken and sautéed onions steamroll everything underneath them. Lose the onions, double the jalapeños, let the aioli actually show up -- this is a 9. The empty plate said everything. Came here for dinner. Decent atmosphere as a sports bar theme. Basic sports bar menu. Prices moderate. Draft beer pricey at $10.50 for most. Service was good. Ordered rack of ribs, a few of their dinner salads they had on the $13.99 menu, Shepard pie and a hamburger. Everything was decent. Ribs were decent as were the salads. After receiving an email from Duffy's about their $7.99 wings & fries deal for National Wing Day, I decided to get myself ready and visit a location. I'm no stranger to Duffy's wings so I know I was in for some finger-licking goodness. Located at Mission Bay Plaza in Boca Raton, this Duffy's was not as packed and lively as the Coconut Creek location I frequently go to, but there was a chill vibe throughout the restaurant; patrons having a good time socializing, enjoying their food, 2 for 1 drinks, and watching various sports airing on the multiple tvs. I grabbed a spot at the bar and gave the bartender my drink and food order. Within minutes, I was sipping on a tasty Passion fruit Palmer and enjoying five crispy, tender honey garlic wings with well-prepared fries. By the end of finishing my second drink, I was becoming full and didn't have any room for dessert. I may pay another visit to this location whenever I'm around the area. read more

The food is everything you'd expect in a sports bar. We ordered food to share- mozzarella sticks, spinach artichoke dip, fried shrimp, and chicken tenders. Note: you can get the chicken grilled if you like. The chicken was moist. The dip was cheesy. I didn't care for how the mozzarella sticks were coated. I prefer breadcrumbs. We went for happy hour. They offer 2 for one drinks and with their special menu, it's just $3 for wine, beer or margaritas. The two expresso martinis seemed small and the glasses weren't equally filled (just a slight difference). The margaritas looked surprisingly large in a tall glass. The waiter was nice and easy going. He didn't rush us out. We had to request water. Also, the place is loud. We were in a booth and it seemed quieter than the seats in the middle of the room. They were having a computer issue and couldn't split the check, but that was okay as they had a sign at the entrance explaining it - no surprise. read more

This was my first time coming back to this locution for a while. We came with another couple and were able to play a Plinko game when we first walked in. We won a free drink card and our friends won a 5$ off coupon. I have had great experiences here in the past. Today was a miss. I ordered nachos with steak. It was cold with little steak on it and congealed cheese. I told my server. He did say they could make another one, but said well there are cold toppings in it. I felt like I was being too picky. He did not check on my food again, and I asked to have it taken off the check. I was starving when I got there and left hungry. My husband ordered all flat chicken wings. 2/10 were flat. One friend said his cheddar burger was good, but his steamed broccoli was tasteless. My other friend got a turkey burger, which she said was very dry. read more

Went in on St. Patty's day and the worst experience ever. It took forever to get served, there computer system was down. Took over 45 minutes to get the food. The people in our party finally got their Corned beef and cabbage. Cabbage wasn't cook, still hard. I ordered Shepherds pie and it came out 10 minutes after the others. My wife returned her meal. She was waiting for the server to come back but came about 5 minutes later. Just a very bad experience. We were so excited to come to Duffys but left in a bad mood. Went last week service was ok food wasn't that good pork chops were barely cooked and pink inside so tough they were hard to cut and no flavor didn't eat them. My friend had mahi fish sandwich wasn't cooked done again our meals were out of the kitchen so fast couldn't of been prepared properly. We even requested to be cooked well done. This is what happens when you order a cranberry and vodka at West Boca Duffy's. I initially ordered a cranberry vodka but received a cup of ice with watered-down vodka. Duffy's Sports Bar Boca - It's usually really great! Was one of my favorite places. The one on Hillsborough usually has sloooooow service so I do go there. Last night the Boca location experience was unpleasant. Our waitress was inattentive, my guest's meal came out wrong. The replacement finally came after the rest of us were done. He said the replacement tasted terrible and stopped eating after only a few bites. We left. This morning he has severe stomach pains and multiple trips to the bathroom--still going (no pun intended). A nice Monday night football game with a large salad and a basket of fries (trust me, that's a sweet combo) for me and jumbo shrimp and a Bacardi and sprite for my guest. Extra good service. Me and the family were hungry after being out and trying to find a place to get a quick meal. We were headed to Chili's when we saw Duffy's at the light. Ironically my Hubby has worked here way back but I have never been to one. The ambiance was like Bru's Room to me with lots of TVs. Even one in the restroom which is awesome so if you are watching a big game you don't miss out while on a potty break... Allison was our server and she was very friendly and helpful. We took some time to gather what the kids wanted, but put in an order for the Slam Dunk Nachos. I don't know if we were starving but this was one of the best nachos we ever had. We ate it all with the sriracha aioli sauce, which was so delicious. Hubby and I learned our lesson with appetizers and entrees so we decided to split the Philly French Dip Cheese steak which came with au jus (french onion soup/sauce). Allison was awesome to bring it out already cut in half on 2 separate plates without us even asking. The kids had kids chicken tenders, regular chicken tenders meal, and the original Duffy's cheeseburger. Me and Hubby also had the 2 for 1 drinks. I got strawberry margaritas and he got the Funky Buddha beer... We had a great meal break here with the kids while we watched a few games and some funny wipe outs on the many TVs. read more

Everything we got was mediocre to bad - burger overdone, tots underdone, bun stale, salad wasn't fresh and dressing was bad and on and on.
