Roka has a large bar area in addition to the main dining room and is located right on Atlantic Avenue. Our bartender was really friendly and provided helpful recommendations. He also allowed me to film the making of my drink. Rum is my poison, and to that I enjoyed their smoked "Monkey Business". Cocktail was nicely presented, well blended, and adequate. It made for great afternoon sipping. Our group was not rushed out either. Towards I guess what would be the end of the afternoon, Mexican tea aka tequila green tea shots were called for and enjoyed by our group. Some of my friends tried food, and it did look appetizing. However, I didn't try. As it mentioned, it's located right on Atlantic Avenue and on the way to the beach. I can see myself stopping by again.

Opened in June 2025, Roka Hula is a modern Asian tiki bar and restaurant created by True Grit Hospitality Group. The Delray Beach location is an expanded version of their original Orlando speakeasy concept and it took over the former Taverna Opa space. I absolutely loved the decor. Cherry blossoms drip from the every part of the ceiling, You are surrounded by carved wood, animal print accents, dark woods, and Polynesian inspired details. The whole space gives you a classic tiki bar, 1970's style vibe. I'm a big fan of the tiki bar concept, so this place was right up my alley. I started with a Kinky Kitty, made with Tito's, Yuzu, Raspberry, Lychee, and lemon. It was a fruity and refreshing cocktail. The bartenders were friendly and energetic. When a round of Mexican Tea shots was recommended, we couldn't refuse. We all enjoyed the easy to drink shot. With great drinks, fun decor, and good friends, Roka Hula was the perfect spot to continue the celebration. I look forward to coming back to try their Happy Hour at the bar and patio with drinks and bites. Cheers to friends, tiki cocktails, and a Sunday afternoon on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach!

My friend and I sat in comfy chairs under heat lamps sipping our libations, admiring the decor and making friends with the folks next to us. Service was top notch - friendly, casual, and prompt. Strong resort style pool, patio and bar with a 360 degree view of Delray Beach. We sat immediately at an inside wooden slated table next to the cocktail bar. The room featured warm, rustic elements, such as the thick wooden beams secured by metalwork. The server Justin was attentive, professional with a great personality. The Jalapeno Cheddar Smash Burger was huge and juicy with just a hint of peppery heat - definitely surprised by the flavor combination of the cherry pepper jam and bacon. The appetizer was corn tortilla chips and toasted naan served with large chunks of fresh mahi-mahi. The gender neutral bathroom was clean and offered soap pumps next to a modern rectangular semi-inset ceramic washbasin. This restaurant is a must try if in Delray Beach.

We got lucky that it was not busy and we were able to get seated right away. We got empanadas to start as an appetizer, and they were amazing! Then my husband and I both got the hand cut steak. They had cut very well was very easy to eat with amazing flavors. Unfortunately, mine was medium rare even though I wanted it to be medium. They were able to easily fix that. Then we ended with some dessert, which was absolutely delicious. This area is kind of hidden, but I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the Delray Beach area.

The owners make you feel like family, and that generosity and passion are infused into everything they do. The food is exquisite. Bold, soulful, beautifully balanced, deeply comforting, and made with a level of care and pride that you can taste in every bite. I've traveled extensively, eaten, Latin cuisine all over the world, and lived in both Los Angeles and New York City where phenomenal food is everywhere. So when I see these reviews praising Santanas I know they also have great taste. This is real food, real flavor, real hospitality. The kind of meal that stays with you because it's made with tradition, talent, and soul, not trends or gimmick. In a world filled with forgettable restaurants, chasing aesthetics over substance, this place remains the real deal. The atmosphere makes you feel welcomed and cared for. When people asked me where to go for an unforgettable Latin food, this is the place I tell my friends, my family, and anyone who trust my taste. I've also sent several chefs and owners of restaurants here and they adore it. And for the record they are New Yorkers. They would tell me how they truly feel. The espresso martini was good as was the Point Break, with tequila and guava juice, very nice, very tropical. Avalon Beach House used to be Avalon Steak & Seafood House. The first time I went in 2022, I remember it being more of a traditional steakhouse. The Ave has grown significantly around it over the years, but it's still one of the staple restaurants in a central location. Overall, it was great meal with good service and nice atmosphere. It's sill one of the gems. We started with the wedge salad and cheesy bread. We wanted to get the Filet Mignon and the Prime Cut Ribeye to share them, but they were out of the Filet which was a bit surprising. Instead, we got the Crispy Chicken Piccata. They were both excellent. The fingerlings and asparagus were good and loved the red wine sauce. The crispy chicken was not too heavy, with lemon and an ample arugula salad. I don't remember the name of desert, but it was a combo of a browny with an Oreo cookie layer (which the kid in me couldn't refuse) with a scoop vanilla ice cream. It was great.
