Overall a bad experience . We made the mistake of going to Dugans on Mother's Day night, so we expected that we were going to have to wait longer then we would on any other night. When we arrived there were only two other groups seated. We placed our order and then waited over one hour for two small pizzas. I ordered a small pizza with chicken. When the pizza came out I quickly realized that the crust of the pizza was burned and the middle of the pizza was undercooked. When I took a bite of the pizza I instantly recognized the taste of the chicken. The chicken that I just paid an extra 2 dollars for is Foster Farms chicken strips that you buy at any grocery store in the deli meat section. To make matters worse, they don't even offer free refills on fountain drinks. We were never even offered the chance to pay for a refill. This meal cost me almost 80 dollars including tip, worst thing I have ever eaten. Dont waste your time or your money here. IGA makes better food at a fraction of the price. read more

Drove into Ocean Shores late at night, checked into a hotel and realized that there weren't a lot of places open nor were there many delivery options. Took a chance and ordered from this place. They showed up quick with a solid pie and a decent order of breadsticks. Prices were reasonable, food was good and got the job done. Would definitely do it again. read more

This is the 2nd pizza restaurant I have tried in Ocean Shores and I can say Dugans is 10x better than the factory place with the buffet. Tonight is mothers day and I wanted to get dinner for my mother and I but not many options open this late or that will deliver. Easy to order online and navigate the menu, you can do 1/2 and 1/2 pizzas and specialty pizzas or make your own. They also have pastas, salads, desserts and more. I decided to try the dugans special since it has pretty much all of my favorites on it. We got the family size 16 inch pizza which I will say is a little pricey at $30. Add in the automatic delivery fee, tax and tip and you are over $45 for delivery for just one pizza. I got the pizza ordered and within a couple of minutes they called me to confirm since I made a mistake and started out as making a half and half but then only selected the one choice. I got the confirm and they said delivery within the hour. I think it only took like 20 minutes to arrive. I assume they were a little slower at 7:30pm on a Sunday rainy night. Pizza arrived and it looks great, the delivery driver did not seem the most enthused but I would probably not be either delivering at night in the rain. I took the pizza in and opened it up to be pleasantly surprised that it was one of the best looking delivered pizzas in a very long time. The 16 inch pizza is a decent size for at least my family of myself and all girls. I would order this one again for my daughters and I. The dugans pizza comes with salami, pepperoni and its the mini ones, plus olives and mushroom, and according to the menu its been the favorite since 1982. I think one more thing that would really crank up this pizza would be some banana peppers and some jalapenos. They put a decent amount of toppings on the pizza compared to some places and the flavor was pretty good. Everyone enjoyed the taste of it, i also ordered 2 sides of ranch, they are small dip cups but the ranch is very good here. The ranch cups are 50 cents each as of this review. They did also include both parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes packets with the order. All in all I would eat here again, I do find it to be a bit expensive but this is a tourist beach town. read more

This is the second time ordering Dugan's Pizza and we are so disappointed. First time, everything was great and I even left a review on their site (not allowing me to do another.) This time, the pizza was "mushy" and cold. In order to eat without it falling a part, we had to take turns putting slices in the air fryer. The Dugan's Special had way less toppings than the last one we ordered and the ranch my son paid extra for was missing. The ham and pineapple was so bland. I stopped in to Dugan's Pizza while visiting Ocean Shores to participate in the Hog Wild motorcycle rally. I was very happy with their pizza! The crust was nice and crispy and the toppings were plentiful and fresh. I noticed they offered draft beer, and cider as well as wine. But I didn't notice until I was leaving . They have a few tvs set up for viewing while waiting for the food, and some of the table tops have embedded object for studying. I saw one tabletop that was pulled wine corks under the acrylic surface. The wait staff was courteous and professional. The restaurant was clean and tidy. Stopped at Dugan's for a pie on the way to our house. It's the local pizza joint. It is small inside with seating in a main area. The decor is sports related and they have TV's. They do a pretty good job here. We ordered the Super Combo. It has sausage, pepperoni, salami , and all the vegetables you would expect. The sauce was a little sweet but not off putting. The crust was the star. Not soft and floppy. It was firm and crispy which I like. We also got a dozen spicy wings but I thought they could have been spicier. A 16" pizza and a dozen wings was north of $50 but I expect that for a decent pie in a tourist town. No photos this time, sorry. read more

Ordered two pizzas for delivery and won't use them again. The pizzas were lukewarm when they arrived. The crust is weird to me and not to my liking, but friends liked it. None of the toppings on either pizza had been baked in the oven but tossed on top of a cooked crust with cheese then added and warmed up. Crunching on fresh vegetables on a pizza is not for me. I made the mistake of not reading the menu closely enough and got a Mondo Combo which has pineapple and green olives, both of which don't belong on a pizza imo. I admit I think Dugans Pizza has the best pizza in Ocean Shores. For a town of 8000 (?) people, we have four dine-in restaurants to choose from, plus one " Take-n-Bake," we have plenty of options. My personal choice is Dugans. Their crust is tasty, the sauce isn't too hot, and their Italian sausage is good. The bonus for me is that they deliver. I wasn't feeling like Pizza last night so I ordered their chef salad and chicken wings offerings. The wings were perfectly cooked and spiced with garlic Parmesan coating. But the highlight of the meal was the Duffy's Chef salad. It was unusual but good. Romain lettuce instead of iceberg sliced mushrooms instead of boiled egg. Nice pieces of ham and chicken. Black olive slices. (I added sliced onions.) the salad was so refreshing and I'd order it again.. And don't forget, they deliver. read more

They claim in advertising they are the best pizza in Ocean Shores. I have found them to be among the worst I'm sorry to say. Its not outright bad pizza, but it has a kind of kids pizza taste with very sweet sauce and bland cheese. Its often not cooked consistently and the toppings are likewise kind of disappointing. The place itself is not one you would want to linger in and ordering takeout is inconvenient. It feels like a place where the owners just don't care much. The food and the service is good. However our waitress asked if we wanted refills on our sodas and two of us said yes and then she asked does everyone just want one so we said sure. Unknown to us that we would be charged for each refill. She also asked if we needed anything else and we asked if they had ranch which she said yes how many? Also not telling us we would be charged for each little ranch cup. We live in the community and often go to dugan's with our grandchildren. Most of the time no one is in the dinning area. So we where surprise that it was nearly full today. But they had a couple of tables for 8 and 6. So we sat dow. And then we're asked to get up and wait until a table for 4 was ready. As a resident of Ocean Shores, you must understand a few simple facts. It's a small town and they work very slowly compared to the big city. If they say it'll be 30 minutes, double it to an hour. This is a Saturday night during peak tourism season. We knew already what we would be getting into. So we waited about 20 minutes before leaving. We arrived, and they stated 10 more minutes. We figured give them another 20 minutes while we chilled in the car. The pizza was made with quality ingredients and had fresh veggies on the Supreme pizza. The meat was also very seasoned, and the crust perfect. I have to say they are better than Domino's, PapaJohns, and Pizza hut. So this is definitely going to be a go-to for pizza for my family. The prices are higher than the chains, but the quality is better. We got a large Supreme pizza ŵith tortellini alfredo. The tortellini came with fresh made garlic bread. The pizza and garlic bread hit the spot for a lazy weekend meal. The tortellini was no well seasoned. I did doctor it up with the rednpepper flakes which helped. The bread was so good. I ordered a medium cheese pizza with extra cheese. As for the employees, very kind professional people. I love the way they operate inside the establishment. As for the pizza. The pizza was very very very dry. The crust of the pizza was very dry with flour on it making it not a preference for me. I saw pictures before I ordered and some looked good, some looked dry but when you're hungry and everything closes at 10, you eat what's available. I wouldn't order pizza from them again just because I don't like my pizzas dry. But you (whoever is reading this review) can try it and see how you like it. One thing though! I'm really torn, based on smell alone pizza deserves FIVE stars. Flavor of sauce, though little heavy on a spice (not hot) is a five. The crust is a 3 and the ambiance is a zero. Toppings, while not sparse are not heavy, and that's where settled in four stars. Toppings could be heavier, cheese and sauce were good, but the crust was about flavor of domino's old flavorless crust, so this was almost flavorless yet home made. Super friendly folks. On-line app worked with a little trouble, but all good. The pizza was delish. A little pricier but you are getting a real meal with one of these pizzas. Abundant toppings and cheese and the crust was crispy outside soft inside and stood up to the heavy weight of the massive toppings. I'm single and ordered a 12". I'm getting three meals out of it. Two slices filled me up. They give you red pepper and parmesan which balanced the flavors of the veggies and sauce beautifully. And for god's sake people, pizza is an excellent breakfast food!
