We have 3 kids and 2 like pepperoni and 1 likes cheese but will not tolerate having pepperoni peeled off her pizza. They very graciously, made a 3/4 pepperoni and 1/4 cheese pizza for my picky kiddos and it was delicious to boot! Happy, quiet kids, mellow fun atmosphere and good food! Overall, just disappointed in the experience. Ordered half-and-half pizza and a pound of boneless wings. Was disappointed in both of them. Tasted like the wings came out of a freezer package and the pizza just didn't make the cut. The blue cheese that we got for dipping sauce was also rancid which is a bummer. We ended up getting our pizza to go, part of the reason is that the restaurant was extremely hot and musky smelling with absolutely no airflow. absolutely horrible experience! crap pizza but horrendous customer service. I call in an order for my pregnant wife with allergy restrictions and they put her allergies all over the pizza. They make a new pizza, sure, but not so much as an apology. No discount, no courtesy anything for the mistake while I waited for my pregnant wife's meal. At least apologize, they even find the ticket and it says to hold her allergy restrictions showing it was fully on them and they still couldn't even apologize. After all this I expected great pizza, but I get something that looks like someone stuck their fingers in it, and it was a total disappointment. I could do better with a frozen pizza. Tried to call back but the phone just rang. Waited 5 minutes and called again - same thing. Waited another 5 minutes and got a busy signal. Happened again twice when we called. We ended up ordering a pizza from Dugan's (super easy and fast). Walked by Red Genie on our way to pick up our pizza from Dugan's (maybe 20-25 minutes after I first called) and the parking lot was empty. Maybe one table inside. We went on a Tuesday at 4:30 pm, and the service did not disappoint. We ordered a 16 inch half and half pizza (meat lovers and Hawaiian). There was one service worker in the front. She was friendly and came back to refill our waters. The restaurant itself is more of a mom and pop style eatery with tools and old license plates on the wall. First, the prices were about 25% higher than anything I could see on line and apparently the owner knows this, and just won't update. I understand rising costs, but being honest upfront saves a lot of customer dissatisfaction The counter lady was very nice (I placed an order to go) but she was the best part of my whole experience. Some businesses are strictly seasonal! When you do business in Ocean Shores or plan on visiting restaurants, please keep in mind that the majority of the population of Ocean Shores residents are over 70 years old.(75% over 70, 20% between 40-60 years old and 10% people under 18) How does this affect you? Slower service Not enough workers at restaurants You should set the following expectations: 30 minutes translates to 45 minutes to an hour when placing food orders. I have seen my 20-minute order take 1.5 hours (not at this restaurant but others in town) You will see impatient and angry tourists who are hungry. Bring snacks and plan your visit ahead of time. Call the restaurant to make sure they are open and check on wait times. FYI, during busy times, the phone line will be busy, and you'll have to keep calling back until you get someone. It has taken me 15 calls before getting through. It's one person taking orders, so be patient. Pizza is made fresh to order. They have a walk-up pick-up window and dine in options. The customer service is great. Ingredients and portion are good. The pizza is more expensive than your chain restaurants. However, the quality is better. Getting into town fairly late left us with few options for food but luckily you can never go (too) wrong with the local pizza place! During COVID, Red Genie is take-out only with only 12" pizzas (priced a little high at $20-21). Since the larger sizes were unavailable, my party of three chose to go with two 12" Supremes which we knew would be a little too much food but didn't have another option to give us enough. The store itself is a little dark but has a local eclectic flair with a random assortment of license plates and other wall hangings and was currently modestly dressed for Halloween (very early) when we visited. Unfortunately, when we got our pizzas we were told we could get ranch along with them but they were out of red pepper and parmesan. The pizzas themselves were pretty good. They didn't skimp on toppings and the flavors were decent. A touch of red pepper would've added some needed spice but such is life. They were a little overly greasy, though, and the cheese probably could've taken another minute or two in the oven to completely melt but we were pretty hungry so neither of those points bothered us too much. Just make sure to have plenty of napkins on hand and know that you'll have to supply your own plates if you're staying in a hotel. Knowing a little about the area having visited several times and having perused Yelp as well, I'd be pretty surprised if Red Genie weren't the best pizza game in town. 3.5 stars for Red Genie! Decided to stop by here while exploring the Washington coast and it was just a five-minute walk from where I was staying. Currently they are only doing take out and there is no indoor reseating available. They don't have extra plates, so be prepared to bring your own. When you walk in, you'll see a bunch of different license plates all over the walls, I had a lot of fun looking around while I was waiting for my order. Now for the pizza, I've been fortunate enough to have a lot of pizza and I thought Red Genie had decent pizza but it didn't wow me. They come in two sizes, medium (12") and large (16"). I got the chicken artichoke pizza and I enjoyed the chicken and artichoke but the tomato slices made the pizza a little soggy. I would have preferred it a bit more crispy. What I did enjoy about the pizza was the fact that the crust was thin/crunchy and the pizza was not greasy. The portion was kind of pricey, it was $20 for a 12" pizza. Parking and location are very good, they have their own lot so you shouldn't have trouble finding a spot. Service was great, my order was ready in 15ish minutes and the lady at the front was nice and super sweet. If I ever come back, I think I'll have to give their speciality pizzas a try instead! read more

Arrived in Ocean Shores around 5, got settled in and called to place a to-go order. We got the XL Cheese and the Supreme. We were pleasantly surprised that we were told it would be ready in 15 minutes (for a Saturday night at 6pm). Our pizza was ready when we got there. It transported nicely as well. Everyone really enjoyed the pizzas . The crust to sauce to toppings ratio was just right. I highly recommend that you give them a try. read more
