My family and i just had my sons first birthday here tonight and i can't say enough good things about our experience. We had a party of ten so i called ahead to reserve a table and the hostess was so helpful and very sweet. When i arrived 15 minutes before our scheduled time they already had the table ready for us. We were greeted right away by the hostess with a very big smile on her face and sweet demeanor. Our server was Brielle and she was AMAZING! Our glasses were never empty, our food was hot and extremely tasty. The wings and the sauces Brielle recommended were spot on and everyone raved about their food. The manager Chris came right over and was such a sweet guy. He interacted with my son and our entire family. When we were done with our meal they brought out the biggest piece of chocolate cake for my son and kids to enjoy on the house. This was such a wonderful experience and they have made lifetime customers out of us all. We will continue to come back for great customer service, delicious food and a stellar environment that families can all enjoy together. My friends and I use Dukes as our "go to" establishment. It's close and convenient for all of us. Unfortunately the service is not good. We're constantly waiting for service. Waiting for drink refills. Waiting to pay our tab. Dukes has the best patio area with multiple tvs for sports games. If they could improve the service out there, I think they would be filled up all the time. I don't need constant supervision. But 30 minutes between check-ins seems a bit long. read more

Where do I start..... Husband and I decided to do a happy bar crawl since he was off early for the first time on a weekday in YEARRRRSSSSSSSS! Walked in and it smelled like that cheap pink soap from The bathroom. We almost walked out, but decided what the heck, let's have a beer. Our service was super nice, but didn't know the happy hour specials and when checking our id legit didn't think we were of age and inspected our ids longer/harder than TSA. I'm 38 and my husband is 35, so I guess that's a compliment she didn't think we were of age? Decided against having food after discovering soaked wet coasters in our menu.... Will I be back?????? The worst service. After we ordered our waitress didn't come back. I got Caesar salad with salmon. The Caesar dressing was mixed with Italian dressing and the salmon was extremely dry. The manager came over and asked how everything was. I changed out my meal for boneless wings. I asked for honey bbq and they came out with honey mustard. Our waitress never came to our table. At one point I had to go up to the hostess to ask for bbq sauce and get more drinks. The beer was on happy hour but did not show on our bill. Again our waitress wasn't paying any attention to our table. I told the manager our waitress said the beer was on happy hour and he stated he had no clue if it was but he would get it fixed. It seems like no one knows what's going on. It also must have been take your kids to work day. They had kids rolling silverware. They just don't care about customer service. read more

I had the opportunity to stop in to Duke's brewhouse tonight for a little game day Miami versus Florida. First weekend of college football is pretty excited to have the day off to go watch some pig skin. Dukes brewhouse in Lakeland is one of my favorite spots to take in some good sports. Upon arrival, I was placed outside in the patio area. It was hot outside, but definitely the sports action was hot as well. I was almost immediately greeted by my server, Brielle. She greeted me with a warm and welcoming smile with the abundance of enthusiasm and energy. She made my overall experience fantastic. It's always nice to see a new beautiful face in the restaurant. I was able to catch The entire second half of the football game. My server Brielle made several stops at my table to ensure good quality service. The chicken fajita wrap with onion rings I had was absolutely delicious. Well cooked and will seasoned. When I stop back by Dukes for house of likely, I'm definitely gonna make sure that Brielle is my server. This was my first and probably last visit to Duke's. We walked in and hostess was sitting in the waiting area with a male friend. After she asks about the size of our party and table request, she gets up and walks to the hostess stand. By this time another waitress has arrived and proceeded to ask us the same set of questions. Once we make it to our table and get our drinks it's about 8-10 minutes before we see our waitress again to take our order. We ordered the pretzel bites as an appetizer which was completely nasty. They arrived way overcooked just shy of burned and not sure if they were soaked in butter or grease. When you picked one up, it dripped off of them. The beer cheese was okay I guess. Maybe better if had something different to eat it with. My wife got the Chicken Philly and fries. She said it was okay and ate most of it. The main reason we went there is I had a craving for wings. I ordered 5 Garlic Parmesan and five sweet barbecue. The wings satisfied my craving but not something I would go back for. Tonight was an older crowd for dinner. read more

Went today for the third time. First two times service was awful. Took forever for a server to come to table and forgot our drinks. Had to remind her TWICE. Went back today, wasn't busy (no surprise now) during peak NFL time...sat there for 15 minutes as every other table got checked on or helped, no one came to the table. 4 servers and the hostess all just looked over and never stopped...same hostess who sat us there. TERRIBLE. Finally had enough of being ignored...told manager who just apologized...told them, going to Ale House now...currently at Ale House. Wings (naked) were good size & sauced well. Service was excellent on a busy Bucs pre-season football Sat night. Pint of beer could've been colder, but nothing to rage about. We had never been to a Dukes Brewhouse and decided to try it after the restaurant we had set out to go to closed early. So, we had no expectations as we didn't know anything about Dukes. This is a casual sports bar atmosphere where the servers are wearing short denim shorts, shirts tied up and cowboy boots. Kind of along the lines of a country western Hooters. We ordered chips, salsa and queso, a footling chili dog, grilled chicken dinner and chicken wings. The chips, Queso and salsa was tasty. The wings were pretty good. We ordered them plain with ranch to dip in. The foot long chili cheese dog was enormous as it was all beef and thick. This was probably the best chili cheese dog I've ever had. It came with fries but I substituted sweet potato fries. The grilled chicken dinner was of good size. The chicken had a nice taste to it but it was thick and not the best quality of chicken. This we didn't finish. All in all a great experience. The kitchen was a little slow as we even had a longer wait fir the chips, salsa and Queso and the restaurant wasn't really full. We would go back and likely will fir another hot dog. There is indoor, outdoor and bar seating. The staff was nice and our server checked on us often. read more

I stopped by for a late night meal with my nephew. He had a burger and I had shepherd's pie. The food was good, the service was efficient and prompt and the prices were reasonable for what we ordered. Our server was professional and pleasant. I hope to return soon. read more

My husband and I come here for dinner every once in a while. While the wings are almost always big and juicy, the servers or cooks can't ever seem to get anything else right. We are creatures of habit. Dukes platter with the garlic Buffalo sauce, 2 blue cheese boats, loaded tots instead of fries and if we get an appetizer it's the sharpshooter shrimp. 90% of the time the wings have ZERO sauce on them. The tots have come out burnt...yes burnt and not only did the cook think it was okay to sever them that way but the waitress brought them to the table! And didn't even bother to ask if they were okay or not. Service is slow usually because our waitress is too busy showing her boobs to the tables loaded with guys or chit chatting with other waitresses in front of the kitchen door. Sad to say we very rarely have a great experience here. Such a shame considering when it's good it's great. read more

We went to Dukes for lunch on September 30th. The Shrimp dish was good as well as the Chili dog. The service was fair and the wait to get the meal was way too long. The main reason for my complaint was the 4% fee that was attached to my bill. When I asked the waitress about it I received a vague response about inflation and the price of chicken wings during the pandemic. As you can see above we did not have any chicken wings. It was not the $1.24 that bothered me but there was not a sign on door, a card on the table, or a note in the menu that warned anyone about this. First time experience was ok nothing amazing. Had the Brewhouse burger with cheese and Coleslaw Typical Sysco or US foods frozen pattie cooked a little to well done. Bathrooms were a bit dirty and music was to loud. Overall average to say the least. Probably will give another try (not anytime soon) just because it's hard sometimes to know if they were having an off night. But was only about half full on a Saturday night so I wouldn't think so. read more

We come to Duke's once a month but will not return after tonight. We brought some friends for the first time because it's one of our favorite places. Our server Morgan took 4/5 ID's with no issue. When the 5th in our group handed Morgan her ID, she looked at it for maybe 3 seconds and said "this is a fake" in an extremely rude and aggressive way. She walked away and got the rest of our drinks- we thought it was a joke at first because she had been kind at first. When our friend tried to tell her what drink she wanted when she came back with our drinks, Morgan looked her up and down and said no. Our friend even tried giving it back to her and said "please scan it, this is my real ID" and finally took it after our friend had to insist on it. She was incredibly condescending during the whole exchange. Morgan came back and was apologetic because her manager confirmed it was a real out of state ID. It put an incredibly bad taste in our mouths, and our friends who were there for the first time were really upset. Our food was decent, the garlic parm sauce seemed extra buttery tonight as well. The live music was nice as well. But at the end of the day we're really disappointed and didn't enjoy ourselves because of how rude Morgan was. read more

So, me and two of my buddies just stopped at the Lakeland location. We rode our bikes from Tampa and Plant City. We walked in and were seated on the back patio. As we ordered our drinks, the manager walked up and after a brief discussion we were told that we could not wear our cuts and to stay we had to remove them. We politely told him it wasn't gonna happen and took our business to Winghouse. You cost your waitress Makayla a nice tip. The real issue I have is that we have been to the Brandon and Plant City locations many time in our cuts and with many more people with nothing said. What you actually just did was cost your business quite a few customers. As a group and individually we will no longer frequent your business until/if you change your policy. We are all Freemasons and reputable business people and Government employees. We ride as Men and Masons. Quite honestly your decision is ridiculous. read more

Tonight we had a party of 16, they accommodated us very well, did have a reservation, Bailey was an awesome server. Slight kitchen mix up, no fault of our server. 1 in our group had to wait a short time to receive their order, but other than that everything was perfect. I had sunrise burger with sweet potato fries my wife had fried fish and sweet potato fries, both were excellent. Others had gumbo, chicken fried steak, flatbread pizza, fajitas, etc. All were very good. Will be sure to revisit soon. read more

My friends and I recently had dinner at Dukes. Keep in mind we are all above the age of 21+. Our waitress, Morgan, was beyond incredibly rude and claimed that one of our friends had a fake ID. After her insisting upon our friend still having a fake ID, we asked the waitress to take the ID to her manager. The manager of course confirmed it was real and came back to deliver our drinks and food. While she did later apologize for her actions, she was very rude to us when we explained that it was real and if she could just scan it- it would prove it was real. She looked our friend up and down in a derogatory way and made all of us uncomfortable. We all will not be coming back. You should not treat your customer this way. While I understand young people do act out and have fakes, we were respectful and just wish we were given the same respect. read more

If I could give this sh**hole 0 stars I would. We went there to give it a second try as the first Time about 8 months ago was horrible and tonight was even worse. We were seated and waited for 10 Minutes. As 4 different servers walked past us, the same 2 multiple times, no one even acknowledged us. 2 men were seated in the same section and they were immediately greeted. Not sure if it's because it was my son, my husband and I (I don't have a d**k and my son is too young) but the complete Lack of service or acknowledgement was BS. We got up, let the staff know(as they looked at me with dumbfounded looks) and walked out. Thank goodness WINGHOUSE is 4 minutes down the street. We will definitely NEVER return and I would NEVER recommend this place now.
