Someone please tell me why I am just now trying this place?!?! So many people have told me I need to try them out and i keep forgetting about them. Then one day I was like ok let's go! Me and my friend went in during their happy hour on a Thursday and we sat at the bar. The staff was welcoming and friendly. They had really good happy hour specials. We got the Rockefeller oysters and the lemon pepper wings pizza and margaritas. Everything was delicious! I am definitely going back to try other things on the menu for sure!

I absolutely love this place!! it's the perfect stop for a bite after work... a great place to watch the game... or just to simply vibe and eat. I came in on a Saturday and there was a live DJ a super cool group of people and an amazing waitress. Joy was my server and she was so sweet and attentive. I will definitely be back to see her. My favorites on the menu are the garlic Parmesan oysters, stuffed peppers, and shrimp Caesar salad salad. Of course, I also had to treat myself to a lychee martini. This is definitely a go to spot in the city.

My friends & I stopped in for happy hour, and it was my first time. I'm told it's Black-owned, so always happy to support. It's an open, airy space. They have something playing on the wall, great for conversation. We could order from the happy hour menu at the tables, which is always a plus for me. Our server Joyous was really kind & helpful. There's free parking in the lot outside the restaurant. Love: cheesy bread (crust is delicious!); oxtail pizza (flavor is wonderful & crust so good! Personally would want more oxtail) Like: lemon drop cocktail

Dukos really showed out from start to finish. The ambiance is warm, stylish, and inviting without feeling overdone. It has that perfect balance of elevated but comfortable, making it just as good for a casual night out as it is for date night. The lighting, music, and overall energy make you want to settle in and actually enjoy your time. The service was attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, made great recommendations, and checked in just enough to make sure we were good without hovering. Everything came out in a timely manner and felt well paced, which always makes a difference. As for the food, we ordered the street taco pizza and it was such a fun, flavorful twist. The crust was perfectly crisp, the toppings were well seasoned, and everything balanced really well together. It's one of those dishes you keep reaching for even when you're already full. The lobster fettuccine was rich, creamy, and comforting without being too heavy. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the lobster was tender and flavorful. It felt elevated but still approachable, which I loved. The drinks were just as good. The Blow Fish was smooth with a little kick, refreshing and very easy to drink. The Purple Rain was flavorful without being overly sweet and just as pretty as it was good. Between the food, drinks, service, and vibe, Dukos is absolutely a spot I'd come back to. Great energy, great experience, and definitely worth a visit

This place was such a great evening vibe! It was playing music and a Christmas movie. The food was delicious and the service was also great! The parking could have been a bit better though!

I can hear with the anticipation on ordering the oxtail pizza. Sadly, they were sold out. Eventually, I hope to get back to try it out. Love the vibe of this place. Our server and host were phenomenal. They were very accommodating and overall welcoming into their establishment. There was a wait on the pizzas, but with the amount of people here on this night it was expected. We ordered the mushroom and Nashville hot chicken. The pizzas are thin crust fyi. I wasn't a big fan of the Nashville hot chicken. I would have preferred a little more heat to it, but also breaded chicken over the grilled chicken pieces. I will say I wasn't too pleased with the oysters. Dukos does have their own twist they put on an oyster Rockefeller, but I wasn't a big fan. Def try them to see what you think.

Dukos was our first stop after arriving in Nashville, and it was a great choice. We found it through a late night Google search since it was open later, and the photos highlighting the oxtail pizza and oysters immediately caught my attention. Parking was a bit tight. The lot is small, so we had to circle around and wait for a spot. The restaurant itself is located in an industrial, garage style space. Once inside, we were welcomed by smooth R&B music and a fun, modern interior. The atmosphere felt hip and culture forward without turning into a party scene. We were seated in Joyous's section, and she was fantastic. She was kind, sweet, attentive, and made sure our table was well taken care of throughout the evening. To start, I ordered the lychee martini, which was delicious. I also tried the Honeydew cocktail made with Sir Davis, and it was very good as well. For food, we ordered the oysters Rockefeller and the 12 inch oxtail pizza. The oysters were a nice size, but they were very topping heavy. There was so much spinach and breadcrumbs that at times it was hard to tell if I was actually eating the oyster. The oxtail pizza, on the other hand, was pretty good and enjoyable overall. All in all, we really enjoyed our visit to Dukos. Between the atmosphere, the drinks, and the service, it made for a solid first stop in Nashville, and I would definitely return.

First time here. Came here after the Rose Festival in East. My sister had been hearing about this place so we wanted to check it out. I ordered the Rockefeller oysters they weren't bad, not the best I have ever had but they were good. My friend ordered the oxtail pizza and it wasn't bad but my Nashville hot chicken pizza was very good. Our waitress was real sweet and the vibes were real chill. I will definitely be back.

I had been wanting to try this place out for a while. When we arrived we were confused as to how to get in but someone directed us to the correct door. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and tried the oxtail pizza as that was popular. It was good. Our waiter was really sweet and attentive. The music was a vibe. I would come back and try something different for the menu.

So I had a great time having dinner with a friend. First time eating here but I've heard good things. Plenty of seating space. They had a bar with tvs. Great service. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and it was delicious. I will return to try more of the menu. Plenty of the pizzas look delicious.

I almost forgot to get a picture of my jerk Alfredo and omg it was so good!! Great flavor, perfect amount of spice, you could tell everything was fresh. This bar has a great happy hour, food is top tier. The restaurant has a great vibe, good lighting , easy to talk with friends and have a great time! Parking lot connected, staff is so sweet, great service. Truly a great experience, go check them out today!

Perfect for happy hour and or a nice, casual dinner. As someone who can't have a lot of dairy, there were still a lot of options that I could enjoy. I will be back for dinner!

Pizza was huge & cooked perfectly

Decided to checkout a new spot, hard to find if you're not familiar with the area cause the door is on the side of the building. But the space is large and opened, loved that. Theres a large bar too. Music playing, great vibes. There were 7 of us. We started off with some appetizers, not pictured meatballs weren't a favorite, but the oysters were good. We ended up getting 3 pastas and an oxtail and pepperoni pizza which we all really enjoyed. Pizza was cooked perfectly. It was a lot of food. We still had a bit to take home. I'll definitely be back for some pizza and our server was great she took care all of us.

It was close enough that we walked. If you're curious about who we saw at this 560-person venue, you will have to go to my IG. I got a few reels. IG is also the only place you can reach me now. FB, TT, X, website, and email are all out. I do have a secret email but it's most definitely not the one tied to this account--that one is inactive. So, it's possible someone would say, "We want that mfer!" But therein lies the problem. I misbehave while being incredibly reliable. Anyway, about that pizza.... If you look carefully at the photo, you will see the slice of pepperoni in the background. My son told me it was the best slice of pizza he has ever eaten. And that's a lot of pizza. In fact, he has taken a photo of every slice of pizza he has ever consumed and posted all of them on his 'Pizza Wall.' His theory is that pizza always puts him in a good mood, so why not always be looking at pizza. Okay, none of that is true, except for the part that he said it was the best pizza he ever had. My slice was very good but I don't know about all that. It seems to be a common theme at Five Points East though. Therefore, go for it! Our server, Annie, was excellent. And very efficient at her job. As for atmosphere, pretty cool! Small but cool. And I actually like that they don't have Italian food and stick to their speciality. Also, there is a small bar in the back. Highly Recommended!

Tap in below: Traveling to the south you wouldn't expect a local spot like Nashville to carry some of the best focaccia, but just the traditional garlic and balsamic will leave you impressed. Flavors so pure and a bread just crispy to the bite and soft as you expect a perfectly crafted bread like this. -Focaccia: 5/5 Texturally perfect. Crispy outer with a soft and spongy inner. Complimented extremely well with any pairing crafted in the restaurant. The focaccia with garlic and balsamic was the perfect first bite to guide your experience as a shareable item. -Ricotta di Gnocchi: 5/5 Again, texturally pleasing bite that's met with a delicious sauce that's velvety, cheesy, and rich in flavor with the herbs meeting the palate cutting away the richness. Perfectly paired -Potato focaccia: 4.5/5 One of my favorite bites that's met with a lemon zest while staying rich and creamy, the focaccia is covered and smothered with this delicious sauce that's a cream of potato and met with Parmesan and lemon, 2 flavors you wouldn't expect to pair so well but compliment each other extremely well. Giving this a reduction of .5 because the bread turns a little too mushy if you don't eat the entree quickly. Which some may like! -blondie: 5/5 Over heard the chef talking about soft serve and ice cream being offered and I had to listen in and order the dish. I'm not much of a desserts person but this was a concept executed flawlessly. Caramel thats met with berry for freshness, ice cream for richness, and sesame for a popping texture that's pleasing. All married to a golden brownie that's crispy to the bite and soft on the inside. Very well matched with each other and just a delicious bite to end the meal. I still remember every bite and can say that being from out of town, I would recommend this spot to anyone. Unique, amazing vibes in the restaurant, and just what I'd call a gem of a hole in the wall. Very well done!

We got there early for our reservation which was at 5:30 so the restaurant was not busy at all. We got seated at the bar, closest to the door, and the register was right in front of us. Our server was less than cordial, took our order and gave us our bill, that's about it. I tried to ask about the restaurant and the focaccia but that seemed to be a huge inconvenience. As a home sourdough baker, I was quite disappointed. To top it off, St.Vito was recognized by Michelin so I expected great food and service. We're from Huston and staying at the hotel across from this restaurant, we heard great things so on our last night we decided to celebrate his good news here. Our server, Lu lu, gave us great recommendations on cocktails and appetizers. She got to know what we enjoyed and recommended the whipped ricotta to us, which was delicious. Creamy ricotta with honey, oil, spice, and bread. Game Changing bread, perfectly baked. When it was time for our dinner, we decided to get the calzone, lasagna, and a pizza. The food came out within twenty minutes and it was just incredible. We decided for tiramisu as our dessert, but we should've gotten the cream puff, the table next to us got one and it looked great. When our waitress brought out our check she very respectfully asked where my buddy was from, as he has a pretty thick accent. He told her that he's Russian and her face lit up, she immediately started having a full conversation with him in Russian. Apparently, she knows the language conversationally. I mean, what a coincidence. My buddy was so tickled by it, and I think he really appreciated it. We also saw the chef come out and talk to one of the other tables, seriously, people were asking to speak to the chef to give their compliments. The pizza was just as good as I remembered. It's one of the stronger options if you're looking for a Chicago-style tavern pizza in Nashville, and the quality of the food continues to be the restaurant's biggest strength. The atmosphere, however, wasn't quite for me. The restaurant fully embraces its Chicago identity, which is certainly part of its concept. Personally, I would have enjoyed seeing a few subtle nods to Nashville or the local community to help it feel more connected to the neighborhood rather than feeling as though it had been transplanted from another city unchanged. It seemed very tone deaf and if I could get the Chicago experience in Nashville why would I ever visit the Chicago location? The music was also much louder than I expected. It created more of a nightclub atmosphere than a neighborhood pizza tavern, making it difficult to carry on a conversation. Live music would have felt more fitting for the setting, especially during CMA Fest. The staff was friendly throughout the evening, but service was a little slower than expected. The restaurant didn't seem particularly busy at the time, yet the kitchen appeared to be running behind, so there was more waiting than I anticipated. Overall, Dicey's Pizza & Tavern still serves excellent pizza, and I'd happily return for the food. I just hope that over time the dining experience evolves to feel a bit more welcoming for those looking for a relaxed meal rather than a high-energy atmosphere.
