So this meat is supposed to be short rib?? WTH
    Evelyne R.

Today is horrible. The greens were nasty. Also, my friend picked the wrong size but he asked for short ribs and I don't know what kind of meat this is supposed to be. That is not short ribs. They didn't even say it's a different type of meat was not expecting that just horrible and the service wasn't all good.

    Huge portion of great food!

This was my first time here and it was great! And I came here from Russia to try this amazingly soul food, thanks to my wifey - she always know how to hit the spot Keep it going guys!! I am honestly so t understand why this place don't have 5 STARS here on YELP. Because food is smacking!

Dinner meal was amazing the fried chicken I loved Krispy and the mash potatoes are 10/10 especially the collard greens wow that's all I could say about the food. For dessert I had the peach cobbler just missing a vanilla ice cream on top. Will I come again yes. Best soul food I had in a long time.

My receipt for this pathetic short-rib dinner- no drink included. DO NOT BUY -RIP OFF

THEY ARE NOT THE SAME A meal at Dulan's has never been on the cheap but one thing that has always brought me back is good food and hearty servings. THAT IS NO LONGER THE CASE. My recent short-rib dinner purchase for $31.70, no drink included, was anything but pleasant. They used to give you two proper serving of the shot-rib; now it's one skimpy serving sliced down the center flaked with rice and gravy. As one of my sides I ordered black-eyed peas. It came in a separate container consisting of 90% rice with 10% peas on top of it. I DID NOT ORDER RICE. They used the rice as a FILER. for $31.70, I feel like I've been robbed! Adding insult to injury, the place is very disorganized, unprofessional, and the employee's are rude AF. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN. THEY RIPPED ME OFF ; AND, THE FOOD PORTIONS ARE NOT WAHT THEY USE TO BE.

Dry breast and dressing with smidgen of dressing...It was literally were you see it in this photo...Smh

I've never ordered from this location until Thursday October 17th... Ubereats order of baked chicken (dark meat), cabbage, mac & cheese, dressing w/gravy and cornbread muffins... I got white meat instead (it was dry) and a smidgen (and I do mean a smidgen) of gravy so the dressing was dry...Very disappointing... Not as flavorful as Dulan's on Crenshaw...3/5 stars...I won't patronize this location again...

Went to SoFi stadium and Dulan's was nearby. Note Sunday there is a different menu. Lined up to order it moved quickly went into another line to pickup here's a pic of our family feast of oxtails (5 pieces) on bed of rice...i will return and try chicken next time. Food was solid! Cane with sweet tea, small dessert cup, two sides and two muffins.

My friend recommended me this spot. He is from Inglewood so I trusted his word. Overall, it was okay. Fried chicken tasted good, but it was extremely tough and dry. I got a thigh piece. Unbearably dry. However, the drum stick was good. Tender enough. Flavor was great. Good seasoning. Sides were good. Fluffy and soft corn bread. Corn bread dressing was good. Not sure if I would go back. I have had better.

Lunch Fried Chicken, Mac n Cheese, Greens and Strawberry Lemonade.

You can always count on Dulan's! Everything was well seasoned, Fried Chicken was crispy and moist. Mac n Cheese was so good and the corn bread was Fire. Check this place out for some home cooked Soul Food.

Met up with a friend for lunch. Today was especially busy because it was the grand opening I arrived earlier and saw valet or street parking available. After I parked, I followed the aroma of food which led me to the line for ordering. I also noticed an area for take out which is located on the outside side of the building. The line to order done in moved quickly between the two cashiers. You can view the food menu on the kiosk located above the order station. I tried to use my Apple pay but for whatever reason it didn't accept so I paid with my bank card. I received a number to place for the server to bring your food to the table. The love the open kitchen where diners can view the food preparation. The floor tiles and walls were warm and inviting like a being at someone's home. I love the family history and community photos on the walls. Once you get a table number, find a table for the servers to bring your food with the option seating either indoors or on the heated patio. I also saw another outside area at the back of the restaurant where there was live music. The restrooms are located near the back of the restaurant. The table and chairs reminds me of a café with spacious seating and gathering space for a large event. My food arrived to my table by server Micheal about seven minutes from the time of order. Leonard, also stopped my table to make sure I had what I ordered was correct. Later when my friend arrived and needed her food warmed up, Christian, the GM took care of it and also stopped by to check on us. Lots of great customer service and personal attention. The food was fresh and in large portions. I had the fried fish with a big mason jar of cold sweet tea/ lemonade, red beans/rice, and streamed cabbage (to peppery for me) so I change for collard greens to go with best corn muffins. We could end the day without house-made sweet potato pie. The kitchen did a great job. It was so much to absorb but enjoyed the day. We had a blast and will be back for more.

I couldn't believe I'd never reviewed it before so I wanted to do so following another delicious brunch at Joyce today. From the moment we sat down, the service was impeccable. Our table never lacked for tea, water, coffee, etc. Foster took great care of us (and shout out to Nick who's also provided amazing service to us there). The Bloody Mary was the first thing to blow my mind. It was absolutely delicious and maybe my new favorite Bloody Mary in LA. It made me wish I'd Ubered. But I also had some wonderful hot, Earl Grey tea. I love how they present it to the table. We covered a lot of ground and no notes. We had the caviar with crème fraîche and truffle kettle chips, a seafood platter that , the fried green tomatoes - which I will order every time I'm there, and the Dungeness crab and rock shrimp Benedict. The dining room itself is beautiful--comfortable, stylish, and inviting. When you look around the room there, it feels like every table in there is celebrating something. In a city overflowing with brunch options, it's surprisingly rare to find a place where the food, service, atmosphere, and pacing all work together so seamlessly. It was one of those meals that reminds you why dining out can still feel special.

The restaurant is located at the Beverly Center and does not validate parking. The good news is that parking is relatively affordable at $1 per hour. Since I don't eat meat or chicken, I checked the menu online beforehand and found several options that looked appealing. Unfortunately, once we were seated, we were given a completely different menu. When I asked about it, our server, Lindsey, explained that the menu I had seen online isn't available until after 3 p.m. That was disappointing since I had already planned my meal. We started with the biscuits. They had a strong smoky flavor that honestly made me think they were baked with pork fat or in an oven used for barbecue. Lindsey assured me they weren't made with any meat fats, but the smoky flavor was definitely noticeable. I ordered the salmon with microgreens and a side of mac and cheese. My partner ordered the steak and eggs with hash browns, and we both enjoyed the mint mocktails--they were refreshing and one of the highlights of the meal. The salmon was cooked well and I enjoyed it. The mac and cheese, however, was a huge letdown. It arrived in a cute little cast-iron skillet on a butcher block, so the presentation was great, but the taste didn't match the appearance. It reminded me of boxed mac and cheese made with powdered cheese, topped with Parmesan just to create a crust. It was runny, lacked richness, and there wasn't even a hint of that satisfying cheese pull. Unfortunately, there were service issues as well. My partner specifically ordered his eggs over hard, but they weren't prepared that way. His hash browns never arrived at the table, and on the drive home he realized we had been charged for them. He intended to mention it before leaving but simply forgot. The biggest positive is the restaurant itself. It's beautiful, stylish, and has a great ambiance. Beyond that, though, I found the food to be average for the price. Even by Los Angeles standards, $42 for chicken and waffles feels excessive. Overall, Yardbird looks better than it tastes. While there were a few bright spots, the inconsistent service, menu confusion, and underwhelming food don't justify the price. Unfortunately, I don't see myself returning.

She told me this branch was started by the same folks of the original in New Orleans. Due to a an issue with the freeway closure and horrible traffic, we were very late and she kindly honored our reservation. The food was fantastic. Great crunchy and spice on the chicken (it is on the spicy side so be careful if you cannot handle the heat). The little corn breads were just the right amount. We tried the yams, which is a must, but also shared some of the other sides. The cabbage is cooked kind of like collard greens. The butter beans and rice is very tasty. We also tried the mashed potatoes and gravy. All sides are vegan, which I thought was done for the local L.A. crowd, but we were told the sides are vegan in the original recipes.
