So wanted to see what all the hype was about this place since most people I know who have been here have no big qualms. Oh lord I remember when this place was jumbo Chinese food! Since I knew the owner's son back in the day that place was basically my childhood right there. It's hard to think ten years ago this place was Jumbos. They sold it almost a decade ago and it switched hands a lot. But here we are ten years later and we have Dumpling! They offer all my old favorites like mini spring rolls, general tso's chicken, egg drop soup, and various fried rice. Those are pretty standard and if you are looking for anything out of the ordinary don't get your hopes up! It's still good but nothing to write home about. I'm giving this place five stars based on the things that stand out. Here are the options that stand out to me: -Vegetarian options galore! I'm not vegetarian but I really enjoy the vegetarian tso's chicken. I actually get it more than the regular chicken! I'm guessing its soy based but not 100% sure. I have a lot of vegetarian friends so it's nice to have a place to bring them. -Schezuan chicken is a pretty nice mix of a plethora of veggies and chicken in a slightly spicy sauce. This is the perfect balance of meat and veggies if you ask me! Good stuff! -The dumplings are their namesake and I must admit the chicken dumplings are good! If your in the mood for something different also try the shumai. This basically a small cylinder shaped dumpling with what I believe is shrimp and cabbage. I say definitely shrimp because it almost tasted like shrimp toast to me. -I am noting chicken fried rice because usually other Chinese places in town don't execute this simple dish. This place also has some Thai stuff like pad Thai so I can see where the chicken fried rice comes into play. -Last but not least I show the ultimate fusion of American food and Americanized Chinese cuisine, THE CHEESESTEAK EGG ROLL! Pretty self explanatory but wow it's delicious and I've never seen it anywhere else! It's so cheap you might as well give it a go! So there you have it! It's great to see this local spot offering up such great food! It's safe to say they have my business and they will be seeing a lot more of me in the future! read more

I was looking for a good chinese restaurant for while, this place has pretty good reviews. So I give a try. I ordered chicken broccoli with white rice, steam dumplings and chicken lo mein . I went to pick up that day because I know their delivery is going to take forever. It took me 15mins drive, I thought it was worth it. Unfortunately it was pretty disappointed. The chicken lo mein had too much sauce in the bottom. I mean I ordered lo mein not noddle soup, com'on. And dumplings doesn't tasted good as what i expected. It just not tasty at all. However the chicken broccoli was pretty good. But I saw a hair on my chicken broccoli after I ate a little. It was disgusting. So I called to let them know. I didn't want my money back or exchange or anything. I just want them to be more careful. Surprisely, they refused, they said it wasn't belong to them. That was my hair. Probably the worst Chinese food I've had in my life. Saw Yelp's reviews and gave it a try. Wasn't that hungry so I ordered Won Ton soup, Scallion Pancakes and Vegetable Dumplings. The noodles in the won tons soup were way thick and the broth was very salty. The pancakes were extremely greasy, even patting them with napkins didn't help. I love this place! A few months ago my husband and I wanted to try a new Chinese place because the take out near us was not impressive. We received the menu on our doorstep and I'm so glad we did. The name is appropriate because their dumplings are fresh. We have ordered every single kind of dumpling and have never been disappointed. I have also had the Chicken Mai fun, which is my favorite dish that I have to try at every Chinese place. Dumpling by far has been my favorite. It is not greasy and has fresh veggies. We order from this restaurant every week nd recently had serious problems with the food. When the food is over 1 hour late it will not be of temperature to be safe to eat. This is the second time they did this. They don't seem to understand this is not safe. I will be calling the health department to report this business. This is officially "our Chinese place." It's always hard to find your favorite new restaurants when moving into a new area but with some online research and recommendation from a friend, we ordered from here and loved it. The dumplings are delicious. the Wonton Soup is not too Salty and the broth really makes it.... The egg rolls are slightly greasy but I can deal with that. We've since tried the beef with broccoli, general tso chicken, garlic shrimp/beef, lo mein, egg foo young, amongst others and have enjoyed everything! They also conveniently are accessible to a couple online ordering sites, making it virtually impossible to make an error in the order. I'm going to start by saying that the idea of having a vegetarian take out spot so close to home was great - what was even better was that the food actually tasted good. UNFORTUNATELY, they would NEVER get our order right. First time we ordered, they sent us egg rolls instead of spring rolls - we let it slide. The next time we ordered, they left out the fried rice. We called to let them know and the person who answered the call gave us attitude and told us we had to pick it up cause they were too busy. Really? Fine, we picked up the rice. The time after that, they brought us someone else's order. After that we stopped ordering for a while, but then decided to order last night. This time they finally got our order right, but they bagged all the food together and the gravy from the teriyaki chicken spilled all over the bag and seeped into our vegetarian meals. I tried to signal the delivery driver before he left to show him, but he sped off and so I called them up to advise. A woman (sounds very young) answered and offered a $15 credit - I explained that I wasn't looking for a credit, but if she were to give us a credit she should give us a credit for the entire $40 we spent as there was chicken teriyaki over EVERYTHING! After putting me on hold several times, she finally comes back to me with attitude to ask - what do you want me to do? I tell her that I would like to have my original order sent to me and delivered, she tried to tell me they were too busy again, but I told her that I could not pick it up, that I would wait. When the driver came, we showed him the bag and food. He snatched the bag, did not look at it and told us to never call them - that they didn't need our business. THE NERVE OF THEM!!! So, as customers are we not supposed to advise if the order is not correct or to our satisfaction? As vegetarians are we supposed to be okay with some chicken gravy all over our food? I have been ordering from here a few years but not often. usually place a large mixed order and usually don't like half of what i order. I just thought it's the differences in cooks. HOWEVER! today i place a small order which included two fantail shrimp from the appetizer menu AWFUL the extremely tiny dirty vein intact shrimp was encrusted in a breading about four times the size of the tinny whinny dirty shrimp. and the breading was raw inside. ordered food and advised the person taking my order that I had a coupon. He asked that I give the coupon to the driver,and that price would be discounted once the order was received. When I received the order I handed gone driver the coupon and told by person on the ph. He dialed the " boss" and just handed me the ph. He had me talk to them and let them know the situation..
