I was pleasantly surprised to see a new eatery open in Weston Center as there are very few options. The Dumplings are delicious! I also loved the Mango Bubble Tea. The fried rice was not my favorite as it contained what seemed like salami but they called sausage. It also had golden raisins in it which I found odd. What a great spot! Came here with my 2 month old daughter and parents for lunch on a rainy saturday. Got a corner table (convenient for baby) and restaurant was happy to get me a dish with warm water for a bottle) The owner, Nadia, checks on every table to make sure everyone is happy and clearly cares deeply about her customers. As for the food, its all excellent and the prices are quite reasonable. The pork and leek dumplings, the chicken and cabbage, and the pork and cabbage are all to die for. The pan seared shells are thin and crisp and the insides pack a lot of flavor. The chicken szechuan (sp?) dumpling were also very good but not as spicy as expected. After having all of the above mentioned dumplings, i moved on to the ramen and realized it was the perfect dish for a cold and rainy day like today, but was also light enough that it would make a good warm weather dish too. Obviously it had nothing in common with the college dorm version of ramen, the noodles here were really high quality and the veggies were fresh. I heard the desserts were good too, but I was too full to try on this visit. Instead, i grabbed some more dumplings to bring home to my wife and, as soon as she tried them, made me promise to take her here soon. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Our family loves Dumpling Daughter, even if it is a bit more expensive than the typical Chinese fare. Great for eating in (Note: not a lot of space so the tables do fill up quickly at the traditional lunch and dinner times) and for takeout. The food is authentic and excellent. I am a fan of their spicier dishes -- especially the dan dan mien, which has a nice amount of those mouth-numbing Szechuan peppercorns. My daughter has pronounced their wonton soup the best ever -- she savors every drop of the flavorful chicken broth. And my husband loves the dumplings, particularly the soup dumplings (a special cooked to order, don't think they're available for takeout alas). Came here at 6pm on a Friday night after reading a great review in the Globe. Needless to say the rest of Metrowest had the same idea, and there was quite a line to put in an order. My complaints end here, because once we sat down and got a table, the buns and noodles came quickly and were AWESOME! Everything we tried (pork and beef buns, pork dumplings, grandmas's spaghetti sauce, bubble tea and dan dan noodles) were so good. Even my 3 year old daughter was a fan. The portions were large, the price was reasonable, but most importantly the food was great. Also it's BYOB. Fantastic. Been twice now, and will keep coming back. Casual, fun place for the whole family, especially my daughters, who love dumplings! The owner is very welcoming and makes sure everyone has a great meal. Ordering and delivery of food to table are both very fast. We have tried most dumplings, and love the variety. The Pork buns are our absolute favorites, usually we order several rounds. Salad also got rave reviews. The string beans on the special menu are great also. Definitely recommended! BYOB makes it even more reasonable. Just a lovely, delicious experience. A range of interesting, carefully prepared, tasty dishes...the dishes that were supposed to be crunchy were indeed crunchy, those supposed to be crispy and fresh (like the cucumber salad!), were indeed crispy and fresh, great work with noodles, nicely sauced, ditto the various dumplings, et al. Combine that with an accommodating, attentive staff led by a welcoming, gracious owner, and you have a great spot for lunch, a light bite, and anything in between. If the folks in Weston aren't sufficiently supportive (and it's hard to imagine that, but if they weren't...), we'd sure welcome you in Concord! read more

Dumpling Daughter doesn't have a very large menu, but they do a very good job on the stuff they do serve. I mainly go for the ramen, but I've enjoyed the fried rice and the dumplings as well. Do they have the best ramen in the area? No, but it's definitely up there, especially the three day pork. There isn't a whole lot of seating, but the place is clean and new. The staff is very friendly, and there are high chairs for the little kids. Parking can be a bit tight sometimes, but I've never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for a spot. Just get there a little early if you're trying to grab lunch. read more

Was watching Phantom Gourmet and wanted to go. The place is great. The owner took my order and she was very friendly. Food came out really quickly. The wonton soup was fantastic. I have had dumplings (fantastic), some rice bowls (looking forward to them again) and the dan dan Mein (spicy and fantastic). Cannot wait to go back. I did go early and there was no line but when leaving there was a line at lunch. This is not your ordinary chinese restaurant or fare. They have a small menu compared to other chinese restaurants but what they have is good. It is worth the trip to Weston. read more

Came here with my pop for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Place was busy, but found a table right away. First time so I wanted to try a myriad of menu items. Dumplings, buns, and a noodle bowl each is what we ordered. Everything served was pre packaged. I literally saw them remove it from the packages and heat it over steam. On their menu it says not that instant noodle. While it wasn't instant, it might as well have been. The noodles are not homemade. Pre-packaged with some ginger and 3 day old pork. Noodles tasted like they were 3 days old rather. Pops got the braised beef soup. It looked extremely heavy and he wasn't all that impressed. Buns had maybe half a bite of beef and all bread. Dumplings were thick and chewy. For the amount of food you get the price is fair. Take into account the quality, and you have overpriced hyped up take out. For Weston, maybe this is as good as it gets. But there's a reason Weston mass is not known for it fine dining. I'll probably order from here when I'm drunk and hungry, but definitely not something I'd do again sober. read more
