parking: shared parking lot! its big so dont worry about finding a spot food: we ordered the beef wraps (beef rolls), pork xiao long bao (soup dumplings), and yang chow fried rice to be shared for two people (~$50) the portions are smaller, the beef wraps are smaller than the soup spoon. overall, the food is pretty good and authentic. a solid little hole in the wall shop. service: to order you scan a qr code at your table, and select everything youd like on their digital menu and they bring our your food. the service was friendly & professional. ambiance: comfy & clean. your standard chinese restaurant overall: 3.5/5 food is decent, it's clean, and the service is good :)

Very quiet and casual spot to get your quick XLB fix or other Chinese dishes! The ordering system is pretty straightforward, scan the QR code and order online. After that, they bring the food over to you! We ordered the XLB and meat pies- pretty standard and always good. I recommend trying the other dishes like the orange chicken or walnut shrimp. It seemed pretty popular around us!

I had high hopes for this place after my coworkers had nothing but good things to say when they had lunch here a couple of weeks ago. Let's say this time around they didn't feel the same way, and I was a bit disappointed. Let's start by saying the owners were nice and seated us pretty quickly. After looking through the menu, we asked some questions and placed our orders. I would like to note that a there are a decent number of items on the menu, but not everything is available and you can't really have your order modified to your liking. One of the first things that put us off were the cups for water looked freshly rinsed, and one of them had food particles still on it. My coworker asked for another cup, and that one was worse. Not the best impression, but whatever. The food did come out pretty fast. I ordered the fried potstickers (44A). They were plain, a bit greasy, but edible. They didn't look like the picture in the menu (see included picture of what came out). They were served with a dipping bowl of soy sauce. I was expecting way better. My other coworkers ordered the shrimp fried rice and the salt and pepper fish. They said the food was ok this time around, but was so much better the first time they were here. I don't know if I would give this place another try; maybe this visit was a fluke, but I was severely disappointed today.

I order through Grubhub on 12/13/2023 The reason why I'm giving a one star because when I open the food and right when I'm about to eat, I see a metal mesh line thing ( the one supposed to wash dishes and stuff and I'm just confused how it end up on the dumpling?

Very delicious red sauce dumplings...and before its gone....

Wanted order dumplings but instead of getting from our usual's I saw this Dumpling Village with lots of good yelp reviews. Hmm how come we didn't know about it? So we decided to try it out. Glad we did, in my opinion it is better than our usual go-to. Ordered (over ordered as usual) sour vege pork soup, red chili sauce dumplings, pork vege dumplings and 夫妻肺片(cold beef appetizers) That soup comes in 3 large to-go containers... that itself is enough dinner for 2. Great value & delightful. Never imagine this type of authentic dish will be available so close out east/inland empire. Beef appetizers too, very numb just the way it should be. Highly recommend... wll be back for their baked items. Looks great .

Lovely local business. They are only open for take out at the moment, but we still loved everything we ordered, especially their soup dumplings! Juicy and full of soup even for take out. The portions are solid for the price. The wonton soup broth was smartly packaged separate from the broth, and came with a filling portion of wontons. Loved the walnut shrimp as well. The sesame noodles had a sweet and sald cold sauce. We ordered in person at their window where the door would be and the order was ready in under 15 minutes.

This is a photo of the menu and what we ordered.

Well, we were so hungry that I forgot to take pics. Sorry. What I can tell you is that we loved it! We had shrimp fried rice, pork xiao long bao, fried shrimp, pork & cabbage dumplings, potstickers, & salt and pepper ribs. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious! They're doing their part to keep everyone safe. So, they block the entry with a table. This is where you will pay and pick up your food. I would definitely recommend & I will be back.

House sweet & sour pork, XLB, shrimp fried rice. We also ordered the hot & sour soup and it was really good.

We enjoyed the food so much that we came back a couple of weeks later. This is a small, no frills casual restaurant, probably family owned. The food is authentic and we really enjoyed the house sweet and sour pork and Xiao Long Bao. The XLB was perfect with just the right amount of soup inside. When you arrive, you have to scan the QR code and place the order with your mobile phone. The food comes out quick and hot! We will continue to support this place of business and look forward to our next visit!

Located in the Terra Vista Plaza on Haven. You can't dine in, only order take out. We've eaten here before, but haven't been back in a long while. We loved their dumplings and other dishes. We ordered: Braised Pork Belly with vegetables $15.99 House cucumber salad $5.99 9 Pork Xiao Long Bao $9.99 10 Beef & green onion dumplings $9.99 Green onion pancake $5.99 8 crispy sesame balls $5.99 Cashier, Ruilian, was very friendly and nice ringing my order up. Took 20 minutes to prepare. My family loved this meal. The pork xiao long Bao and dumplings were tasty and juicy. I loved the green onion pancake and sesame balls. We hope to be back again soon.

Dumpling Village is brand new in 2020 and opened their doors on January 1, 2020 with their grand opening January 8th 2020. My husband and I noticed their sign in mid-December so made a mental note to come in. They're located on the east side of Haven just north of Baseline, by the Ralph's gas station and right next to Waba Grill. My husband and I came in around 11:15AM on January 1st and there were already customers inside. One at a table and a couple people came in for take out orders. We ordered 2 Cokes, Pork Xiao Long Bao ($8.99), Potstickers ($7.99), Green Onion Pancake ($4.50), Sauteed Green Beans ($9.99), Crispy Walnut Shrimp ($15.99) and two bowls of rice. The portions weren't huge, but we definitely over ordered and took some of it home. They forgot our order of Xiao Long Bao, but we told them we'd still take it and they boxed it up for us. The Coke tasted a bit off; probably because their machine is still new. The Walnut Shrimp was superb. The dumplings came out super hot so be careful. The soy sauce also wasn't coming out of the bottle. With tax and tip, for 2 people we paid ~$60 which is definitely pricey. The next time we come in, we'd probably limit it to 2-3 dishes and go from there if we're still hungry. Since they weren't that busy during the time we came, customer service was good and we were helped by 3 different people. We'd definitely return to try more items.

This place is so good and I'm so happy that we get a little authentic Chinese northern food place near by the house. The pork scallion steam bao is 5 star, they are not juicy dumplings so the dough is fluffy. Although they are not juicy dumplings but they are still surprisingly juicy, some juice got absorbed by the fluffy bun and that's my favorite part. Clay pot chicken: 5 star, delicious and nutritious dish. The soup is steamed in a special clay pot and it contains a lot good stuff like Ginseng, red date, goji, etc. i haven't had this dish in LA yet. Lamb skewers: I cannot rate since I don't eat Lamb but my husband finished the whole thing by himself no complaints. Cold beef dish: 4 star, nice starter The place charges cheap, our check came out at $34. I do notice that the waiters do have some difficulty in English, please be patient with them and sometimes they seems less attentive with the customers and they explain to me that's because they can only speak basic english.

Many of the dishes are meant to be shared, making it a good spot to order a few plates for the table. The cucumber salad is a solid starter. It is something refreshing to snack on while you wait for the rest of your food. I ordered the Cheese and Chicken Rolls along with the Golden Prime Beef Soup. The rolls were rather greasy and indulgent, and I would probably skip them next time. If you must try them, I'd recommend limiting yourself to one or two pieces. The Golden Prime Beef Soup, on the other hand, packs a serious kick. If you can't handle much spice, definitely let the staff know. Those bright red chilies aren't just for show; their heat permeates the entire broth. My conclusion is about the same as my introduction: the fare is inoffensive, but it's consistent and good. It's a dependable option when you're looking for a casual Chinese meal without much fuss.

Chicken dumplings had a good filling to wrapper ratio, but the filling needed way more seasoning. It just tasted like wet, mushy stuff inside, and drowning the dumpling in chili oil barely helped. And the two fried dishes weren't flavorful either--they weren't dredged very well, so they just tasted like oil. This was especially disappointing for the scallion pancake, since it looked nice...but didn't taste of scallions at all. Overall, really disappointing. I might give it a try at a different location if the opportunity comes up, but with the menu being rather small, I'm not even sure it'd be worth the time.

We tried a few items such as their beef roll, wonton with chili sauce, their seven grams xlb, , fried mini buns, noodle with scallion oil sauce, and potato string shrimp. Their seven grams xlb was disappointing, the broth and meat inside didn't have any flavor to it IMO. The mini buns were sweet and heavy, and we split one and didn't touch the rest. The noodle with scallion sauce was just okay...again, not much flavor. I didn't like the potato shrimp at all, too doughy and hard. The beef rolls were just okay to me, again kinda bland without dumping it in shoyu and vinegar). The best dish was their spicy wontons. It had a nice kick to it and we saved the sauce to dump everything else we ate in it lol.

It just has soy, soy mixed sauce, chili oil, and black vinegar. I ordered the Wide Hand Pulled Noodles, Green and Onion Pot Stickers, and the Beef Rolls. Wide Hand Pulled noodles were ok. I believe it's served with chili oil, a mound of minced garlic and some vegetables. Outside of those ingredients I thought it needed more flavor or substance. The beef rolls were ok to me as well. I liked how crispy the roll was and size. Good portions of sliced beef served with cilantro. It was refreshing but the meat was generally cold with some warmness provided by the roll. But that quickly faded. Would prefer it to be warmer. The highlight was the pot stickers. Beef and onion were good. Really enjoyed the presentation of the dish. The edges of the pot sticker were really thick. Almost chip like. I enjoyed it as much as the dish itself. Would get it again. Overall I thought the food was ok. I'm sure there are better highlight dishes than what I ordered but they weren't selected this go around. Also the prices are a little higher than most dumpling spots so I just expected more.

I cant justify any of these dishes making me want to consume bowls upon bowls of rice. That's what spicy Szechuan and Hunan food is supposed to do....it should make you awaken your taste buds, with the power of their chilli peppers, Szechuan green & red peppercorns, and the umamis derived from MSG. Nope, I didn't crave the Lazi Chicken...nor the Hot Oil Beef Mix... Not the Cold Noodles, and I left with a $122 receipt in hand for 2 more takeout items on top of the 4 main dishes I've shared.....and I felt pretty empty. Empty in a sense, I could DO BETTER at home mixing my own Szechuan Cold Noodles, with Home Made Chili Oil, Sesame Paste, Sugar. Chicken Bullion, Minced Garlic, Vinegar, and Cilantro. I almost felt robbed here.....either every dish was lacking peppercorns and numbness, or it was missing Umami, Alot of it...so I leave anyone who wants to challenge my opinion otherwise and prove me wrong that the food here indeed belongs in a long list of top notch Szechuan Hunan Restaurants in Los Angeles. Even if this place opened up in Phoenix, I'm sorry, it's going to rank in the lower end of the bell curve. It was a hot day. I felt the service lady doesn't know how to tell "Customers Need Ice Water" and I had to vocally tell her ice and water please. I don't know, been a long week, haven't gone home for 10 days and just been bouncing on and off my rig all across the US....I just wanted some food I could really enjoy today, and Chili Bistro failed to deliver.
