There were families with kids enjoying dinner and even hanging around for some of the piano entertainment. The large bar area and plenty of tables made it a great setup. The Dueling Pianos show was so much fun and made for a really entertaining night out. The entire staff was polite, the bathrooms were clean, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We ordered two of their strawberry spring mix salads which were fresh, and topped them with protein. We also got the spring rolls and calamari. Both were average maybe a little too fried. They have many entrees to choose from and judging by the plates going past they looked good. Cocktails were excellent! I ordered the French 75 and asked the bartender, Ryan to make it less sweet. It was perfect! He was super friendly and personable. We felt right at home and you can tell people are repeat customers which speaks for itself. They were able to whip up a plain grilled chicken breast for the pup as well, which we greatly appreciated. When she had finished taking my order she asked for my credit card info. I explained I would be paying in cash when I got there. She then refused to take my order after I would not give my credit card number over the phone. I pay in cash because I had someone steal my info in the past just like this. She said I would have to come in if I pay in cash and they would take my order then. Ok. I went up there. After waiting at the bar another 10 minutes for someone to take my order a pretty young lady with a nice smile took my order. She said it would be about 20-25 minutes and when it was ready she would immediately bring it to me. I told her exactly where I would be so she wouldn't have to search me out. She agreed and I sat right outside the front door on the bench to wait for my pizza. After 58 minutes I went in and she had taken my pizza around the other side of the bar and missed me. I finally caught her after she went outside to the other deck looking for me. She explained the wait was so long because the kitchen was slammed. I told her that obviously the pizza had been ready for awhile because it was cold. I could feel the box and everyone knows if a pizza is hot you can feel it through the box. This pizza was probably ready in 20 minutes like she originally said. I should have gone in and checked earlier but she had assured me she would bring it out as soon as it came out of the kitchen. I am usually a good tipper but I do not tip up front like so many servers seem to expect that these days. I will tip accordingly. And this time I did not tip because not only was my pizza cold due to sitting at the bar for long enough to literally get cold but the girl lied to me as to the reason it took so long. It had obviously been ready for quite some time. It probably was a good pizza when it was hot. I also want to add that $32 was extremely high for this puny, cold pizza. I gotta say, I'm not a big fan of this place. After I left I realized that I did not receive a copy of my receipt which I did ask for. I checked and although no one informed me when I placed my to go order they automatically add a tip to the bill. So in addition to the sorry service, sorry cold pizza I was ripped off for a tip that I did not authorize. Normally I would never encourage dine and dash but I sincerely hope they get a dozen dine and dashers since they steal a tip without informing customers. Save your money and stay away from this FUBAR restaurant. I guess we should all have felt forewarned since they state in the name what they are. It lives up to its name.

The food was good, and once we were able to move outside, the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. The live music and outdoor seating made for a really nice evening. Unfortunately, the experience getting there left us a little disappointed. We were seated inside immediately, even though there wasn't anyone sitting outside on the patio and the live musician was essentially playing to an empty space. We asked our server if we could sit outside, and she seemed hesitant about the request, which was frustrating considering how empty the patio was. We came early for dinner, so I completely understand if they were preparing for a rush or had reservations coming in, but that didn't seem to be the case. The biggest surprise, though, came when we got the check. We knew there was a parking fee, but having to pay for a minimum of six hours was unexpected. Then we noticed additional harbor and operating fees on the bill. Those extra charges were incredibly off-putting, especially because they weren't something we were expecting when we decided to eat here. What made it even more confusing was the suggested tip amount being calculated after those additional fees were added. We had no problem tipping our server because the service itself was decent, but being encouraged to tip on top of fees rather than simply on the cost of the meal felt confusing and, honestly, a little misleading. I think this restaurant has a lot going for it. If you're looking for good outdoor seating, live music, and a fun atmosphere, I can understand why people enjoy it. But between the initial attitude we experienced, the unexpected fees, and the way the suggested tip was calculated, the overall experience was enough that we probably wouldn't return. Would I recommend it? If the outdoor atmosphere and live music are what you're after, yes. Just go in knowing about the additional costs so you're not caught off guard like we were.
