Lovely, until a couple came to have drinks at the bar and brought their dog - and did not look after him. Kind of a bummer, as the dog kept coming up to our table and also in the way of people trying to pass by. Did not say anything as it would have ruined the atmosphere. My husband ordered the meat pie and I had the lamb skewers. Both good - but the pie was very small with only a small amount of meat and mostly puff pastry. The ambiance of this place is so cute with its relaxed elevated tiki vibes. 10/10 on place. Came here randomly after getting my hair done nearby because I had parked right in front of the restaurant and had some time to kill on my meter. And surprisingly it was also happy hour, which is everyday from 3-6 and all day Tuesday. Happy hour includes special pricing on some drinks and food. I got their fish and chips, and it hit the spot. They also have sliders with fries and pretzel bites on HH, which I'll have to come back for next time. They have shaded ample seating throughout surrounded by lush greenery. I will start off by saying we had a really nice server during our dinner. The downside was that we did pick 2 appetizers that were no longer available and 1 beer type that was no longer available. Came here on a Sunday mid-morning with a friend who was treating me for my birthday. I had come here once before for brunch and really enjoyed it so I hoped to recreate that experience. It has a light flavor and was very smooth. I added a little bit of cream to it as well. I was very glad to see that the Tamale Steak Benedict was still on the menu. My friend had the Dutch cake with berries and we shared it. It was a good balance of sweet and savory. I liked everything about the tamale Benedict. The steak was cooked very well and the slices made it easier to share. The eggs were well poached and the sauce was awesome. The tamale was pretty good as well. The Dutch cake is like a crepe and was tender. The berry medley contained blueberries, strawberries and blackberries. They were all sweet, ripe and very fresh. Tasted like summer.
