I come here pretty often with friends or my partner and I always have a great experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful with natural lighting and tropical plants. At night they have fire pits and string lights which creates such a perfect date night vibe. We normally go for happy hour or their Thursday all day deal. Their burgers are delicious and made with quality ingredients. The service is always attentive and friendly. I don't believe they have a lot of space for big parties besides the patio outside.

After years in my to be tried list I finally made the visit. It was a summer weekday so it was empty, only a few customers inside. We were seated in the upper patio by the bar employee, who later took our order and checked in on us. The ambiance was themed so it was fun to try. We ordered shareable and a few kid meals. The items we tried were all ok, my favorite was the sausage rolls and pretzel bites. I'm glad I got to try it once as NP/ UH has great food options. Bar had screens and table top seats, restroom was very clean and decorative! *I did notice they had an ADA ramp on the side of the restaurant which was a plus since the front had stairs and patio areas were artificial turf.

The ambiance of this place is so cute with its relaxed elevated tiki vibes. 10/10 on place. Came here randomly after getting my hair done nearby because I had parked right in front of the restaurant and had some time to kill on my meter. And surprisingly it was also happy hour, which is everyday from 3-6 and all day Tuesday. Happy hour includes special pricing on some drinks and food. I got their fish and chips, and it hit the spot. They also have sliders with fries and pretzel bites on HH, which I'll have to come back for next time. They have shaded ample seating throughout surrounded by lush greenery. It's a great place to people watch, if you sit by the street, as many people walk their dogs in the area. Service is also a 10/10 as he was quick and friendly.

Love this little bar! Four dollar all day mimosas, great happy hour deals, wonderful service, low-key vibe. Watch the soccer game with friends, not crowded, bartender was friendly, highly recommend!!

This was only my second time here but they really dropped the ball today. My group made a reservation in advance and we got sat inside. Though our reservation was for the patio, they were able to accommodate us outside. We got sat at the last bench on the street. The host then gave the menus and walked away. It was 10 minutes before the host came back with water, and let us know the server was on the way to our table. We waited another 15 minutes and no staff member came or even walked by. We felt neglected. It was now 30 minutes past when we got sat. We decided to leave to another restaurant. It was highly disappointing that no one was available to help us or even notice we left.

Cute place in North Park with patio seating, a burger of the month club, and a $4 mimosa brunch. The vibes are cute and chill and the service is always great. I like their burgers and pot pies, plus the fried green tomatoes are killer!

Surprised my friend with a birthday dinner at Dunedin, and I'm so glad we tried it out! The atmosphere is gorgeous with so many plants. Parking is limited since you're in North Park, but the restaurant has an upper and lower level filled with tables. Our server was great and provided suggestions on what to get. We told her of our intention to share everything we order, and she actually brought out half-portions for us! For drinks, my friend got the red house sangria, which she really liked, while I got the pina colada. Both so refreshing. We ordered the steak n' caesar salad and the bare lamb burger. The steak was cooked perfectly, and I liked how they added seasonings for you to adjust the flavor of the salad to your preference. The bare lamb burger was so good!! The egg, caramelized onions, and blue cheese all paired well together. After trying this burger, I was contemplating joining their burger of the month club. I look forward to dining here again!

(Dined 04/02/26 TH @ 1:30pm): I was filled with zeal to dine at this eatery new to me! My friend and I were both starving and desperately needed food, so I recommended Dunedin New Zealand Eats which was on my bookmark list. This restaurant was walking distance from a newly-acquired property, and it gave us the opportunity to explore the neighborhood. I loved New Zealand cuisine, but honestly, you rarely found it anywhere, so I was intrigued to try this place out. Would I enjoy dining on their New Zealand-style food!? Sadly, he appeared to be the only one working on the floor while the lunch crowd flowed in throughout the time we were there. He eventually got to us with menus, glasses of water, and once we were ready he took our order. Our beers came out quickly while the various food dishes took no more than five minutes each. He commendably handled the patrons on his own and truly deserved large tips from everyone. He did an outstanding job under the circumstances - bravo! PARKING (Varied; N/A this instance): Because we walked barely five minutes from the property, parking wasn't an issue. However, there appeared to be available spots along the main drag of 30th St. and all of the surrounding residential streets (read any posted signs) - 'nuff said! ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE An airy open beach-like bar restaurant with a casual oceanic tropical feel like you were under the sea or living in SpongeBob SquarePant's world. There were plenty of places to sit mainly inside with some options outside along the sidewalk. The aforementioned bar was double-sided while the nautical decorations were a vibrant visual explosion. Plenty of natural lighting entered through the many surrounding windows while various electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. There were several muted TVs throughout while music played in the background. ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL Dunedin New Zealand Eats was a chillaxing time with yummy food, and I would definitely return. The menu selection wasn't as varied as I expected and it seemed to lack most New Zealand cuisine I lovingly remembered from my trips to that country. However, there were enough drink/food options to not get bored and satiate your palate, the prices were comparable, they had a happy hour menu, a good place to watch a game, possibly pet-friendly, and the service was awesome (please increase the staff during the lunch rush). Plus, I always preferred to support small local mom & pop businesses. I found complete value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $80.00 BEFORE any discounts, points usage, and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 5.0 STARS

This place is so great. The decor is so awesome you feel like you are in New Zealand! I have always been impressed by the service here and the staff is so nice. Had a fantastic meal tonight, I think this might be the best fish and chips I've ever had.

On a recent visit to SD I stopped in for brunch. I had the chicken sandwich. The portions were good and the taste was great. I also had a mimosa. Mimosa's are 4 bucks all day. Service was fast and friendly. Ambiance was outdoor breezy. Would patronize again.

I came during happy hour and took advantage of the deals. It was moderately busy. Service was nice, but hard to flag and slower than expected. Fish and chips, good but the fish was breaking apart as I held it. Would be better if the batter was firmer to help the fish hold its shape. Skinny fries were super delicious. My first time ever to a New Zealand food restaurant. If I am in the area and come back, I'd love to try their meat pies!

    Canary H.

I'd love to be Ive this place five stars, but we were not able to try the food. We were only here for less than an hour to have a single mimosa, which was priced at $4 all day! We had plans afterwards, and let the server know that we wouldn't be here for long. The server was very accommodating and served us and let us pay our check quickly. We sat in the corner, and it was hustling and bustling with business. Their decor was interested and had snippets of New Zealand everywhere. It was noisy in here but very dog friendly. The mimosas were strong and weren't served in your typical cup. Perfect pricing and perfect amount. Would love to be back to try their food!

We went on a Monday and it wasn't too crowded. Our waiter was nice and didn't bombard us. We loved the greenary from the plants, the pretzel bites were amazing and I had a veggie patty burger. The veggie patty was one of the best I've had. The raspberry lemonade was also a perfect drink, I love how they have fun options for people who are sober.

Advice on parking for a Saturday night at 6PM?

Parking on 30th is rough and rare. 29th street always has parking though so highly recommend!

Does this restaurant have a menu for kids?

Not so sure about kids menu I would call the restaurant

Do you guys still do $2 mimosas on the weekends?

Yes on Saturday and Sunday from 9 am - 12 pm

Do they have gluten free options here?

Yes we have gluten free options

Is there seating for a large party (10 people) inside? My aunts would love it but 1 has a nerve issue that prevents hers from being outside for long

Hi, We do have 1 table inside that can accommodate a 10 top.

    Do they take reservations?

I believe they use to but not anymore. Just need to go there and put your name on list. If you have a small party of 2 you can just walk up to the bar and order there if there are open seats. No reservations needed there.

Is this the same owners of queens town public house?

    Yes!!

    Is this place Dog friendly?

Yes!! My friend brought her dog and they were very accommodating.

Pros: I got the half-pound burger with fries and it was really good overall. The burger was super juicy, well-cooked, and had that classic hearty, satisfying taste you want from a solid burger spot. The portion size was generous, especially with the half-pound patty, and the fries were a great side to round out the meal. The location in Pacific Beach is also a big plus. It's in a great area with lots going on, so it's easy to grab food and walk around afterward or make it part of a beach day. The overall vibe of the spot feels casual and fitting for PB--nothing overly fancy, just good comfort food done right. Cons: Since it's in a busy beach area, parking and crowds can be a bit of a challenge depending on the time you go. It's more of a casual grab-and-go or quick dine-in spot, so don't expect a sit-down restaurant experience with a lot of space or quiet seating. During peak beach hours, it can also get pretty busy. Verdict: Overall, Rocky's Burgers is a great spot in Pacific Beach if you're craving a juicy, satisfying burger in a fun beachside area. The half-pound burger and fries hit the spot, and it's a solid choice for a casual meal before or after hanging out in PB.
