    Loved it.

They said it couldn't be done but they did it. This is the best AM sandwich you can get in 619. Jill and the crew don't just cook, they're tip of the spear. I want to eat it twice and I have. The spot goes hard, whatever they do with the jam (chutney?) is.. the jam. Pull up and enjoy one of San Diego's best spots. I can't wait to go back again and again.

Absolutely loved good measure for brunch!! Amazing atmosphere perfect for San Diego were the weather is great year round. All seating is outdoor but there was plenty of shade. Everyone was so kind and the service was great. The menu is creative and delicious, I can't wait to visit again!

Good Measure makes some scrumptious breakfast! I had the SEC or house made breakfast sausage, a fried egg, goat cheese, a fig jam, pickled onions, and arugula on a toasted artisan bun. I also had a cortado with my meal. The SEC was delicious, especially the house made savory breakfast sausage. I liked the bun too. It had a great texture and tasted tasty. You wouldn't think the the fig jam would be strange with egg, but it worked very well here and was delicious. It brought everything together nicely. The cortado was well made and smooth. The service was very good at the coffee bar, I appreciated the owner/the chef came out to inquire on how I enjoyed my meal and coffee. The service was very friendly.

The food was really delicious. Got the banana bread and it came toasted with guava jam which complimented the banana bread flavor. Got an egg and cheese sandwich which was delicious in a croissant bun. Coffee was great too. Highly recommend. The california breakfast was yummy too. The place is very cute aesthetic wise. It has nature vibes and parking is not bad. Service is prompt too.

A really cool and intimate alleyway/backyard vibe, Good Measure is a definitely a eye-catching place to grab breakfast. You order at the front and you seat yourself. Service was a bit slow for our group. We had a group of 6 and so between ordering and getting all of our drinks and food, it was probably around 20-25 minutes. The Yuzu Vanilla Matcha Tonic was really good and refreshing! This was a perfect drink on a hot day. I got the Salmon Sandwich which was flavorful and pretty good. The bread is interesting where it's more croissant-like in flavor. The Corn Fritter BLT (substituted vegan bacon) was nothing too special. The vegan bacon didn't have it's own flavor and lacked seasoning. Plus all of the toppings and sauce on the sandwich masked the flavor of the corn fritter. I'd recommend just getting a side of the corn fritters so that you can get an obstructed bite of their flavor (which was nice). The banana bread with guava rose jam was alright as well but nothing out of the ordinary.

Came here recently on a Saturday morning for breakfast. Really cool set up with outdoor seating and 'dog friendly'! I had picked up coffee on the way so I will have to wait until my next visit to try theirs. When you arrive, you place your order at this cool vintage trailer, seat yourself and wait for your order to be delivered at your table. This place has a nice menu with plenty of options but not too overwhelming. My wife and I ordered the PB&J, Sausage Egg & Cheese Sandwich, Hasherole and Green Grits! Everything was fresh, delicious and done with proper technique! The service was also friendly and easy going. We really enjoyed our experience here and can't wait to visit again soon!

Good Measure is delicious, adorable, and inviting. This was my first time at the "new" version of this establishment. I was a huge fan of Atypical Waffle, and think about the avocado, bacon, and goat cheese waffle more often than I should admit. The new iteration is on toast, which doesn't quite hit the same, but it's quite delightful in its own right. Counter service is friendly and our food was delivered promptly, despite a bit of a crowd. I'll certainly be back!

This was walking distance from the air bnb, we thought it looked adorable and needed to visit for a brunch on our trip! We got there shortly after open around 8:10 and it was not busy at all but it picked up! You order from a little airstream and they have classics and fun funky options! I got a cherry vanilla matcha tonic, a cheesy potato hash, loaded vegetable hash, and toast. My family members mostly got breakfast sandwiches, my sister got a pb and j. I also got to try some of my sister's strawberry matcha. Everything was amazing and everyone was super happy with their choices! It's outdoor seating so was perfect for a nice October day! Was a bit pricey but we did order a lot of food and it was really good. Got a cookie as well. Loved all the dogs people were dining with and great service. Would highly recommend!

A little confusing to find, but this brunch spot is down a hall of a laundromat. The interior is cute and outdoorsy and it was clear that it was a cafe/restaurant and not some random alleyway lol. Cardamom Latte (6/10): The idea sounded tasty in theory as did all the other drinks but it was bland and the coffee flavor wasn't strong. Salmon and smashed peas (9/10): A great protein-rich breakfast option! It was light and refreshing paired with the beets and slices of red onion. The eggs were almost a french omelette style and it was super soft and melt in your mouth. Hasherole (10/10): The cornflakes sprinkled on top of a casserole/hash cheese cake with a delicious aioli was just to die for. I was licking that plate clean. I would come back just for the food!

ordered the bacon egg and cheese with veggie bacon, i have been vegetarian for over 10 years and surprisingly this is the best veggie bacon i have ever had!! good prices for a breakfast sando. the croissant bun was good but i was hoping it to be more toasted, but the jam on it was good. can't quite figure out the vibe of the place? place was totally empty when we came but the worker was really sweet.

Good Measure is the recent rebranding of Atypical Waffle in North Park as the new ownership finally changed the business name. The setup remains unchanged as you walk through a corridor next to a laundromat to reach this eatery. The kitchen is located inside an Airstream trailer, and all of the seating is outdoors but under cover. The current hours are from 8 am to 2 pm on Thursday to Sunday. I think there's a plan to expand into evening hours and even hosting occasional events. The food menu was made up of sandwiches, waffles, plates, and sides. For beverages, coffee, tea, refreshers, and lemonades were the categories. I selected a SEC (Sausage, Egg, Cheese) Sandwich and a Subtropic Lemonade for my to-go order. Goat cheese, fig jam, pickled onion, and arugula were the toppings that went with the sausage and egg on a croissant roll. I liked the contrast from the pickled onion and arugula to cut through the richness from the SEC components. The lemonade was a refreshing blend of strawberry and pineapple. I would be interested to see how the menu evolves to beyond brunch offerings over time. For now, I gave a four star rating for my takeout experience at Good Measure.

got the BEC sandwich and hasherole after grabbing coffee in north park, and i loved the BEC sandwich. super tasty, not overly oily and heavy, and the buns were perfectly toasted yet soft! also $9 for a sit down breakfast item is unheard of in san diego, so props to good measure for affordable breakfast! the hasherole on a different note was just ok -- there was too much herb aioli, so the dish tasted overly saucy to me. my boyfriend was in the mood for hash browns so we probably should have asked if they could just do a side of hash browns. i would def come back for their sandwiches the ambiance is a casual, outdoor sit down/grab and go spot. i loved the cute casual aesthetic. however there were so many flies when i was trying to eat not sure if i would dine here if it is warm outside

Amazing breakfast food and coffee drinks offered in a cozy and casual patio atmosphere. Great service as well! We live in the neighborhood and come at least a couple times a month.

I am so sad because I can't remember the name of our waitress! She was amazing because she was so ON POINT with everything -- from knowing the details of each menu item, to knowing what "medium+" is for a steak. She was attentive and amazing and shoutout to her! The food and tiny 'tinis were delicious! The steak and fries were such a good deal for $25. I could've eaten two of them, and now that I'm writing this months later, I'm thinking about that meal again. There is also a spot where the live musician plays, which is awesome! Once seated, though, we sat for about 20 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. I eventually had to flag someone down just to get water. We then waited even longer for our server to take our order. Because service was so slow, I ordered all of our drinks and food at once since I wasn't sure when we'd see our server again. What stood out even more was watching a couple seated next to us receive immediate attention. They were greeted, served water right away, and the woman was offered a purse hook. Meanwhile, we were sitting there with our purses shoved beside us and weren't offered the same courtesy. It may seem like a small detail, but combined with the lack of attention, it made us feel overlooked. The drinks came out quickly, and the chicken satay and mac and cheese were decent. Nothing was bad, but nothing really stood out food-wise either. The highlight of the evening was definitely the live music. The performers were fantastic and created a great atmosphere that honestly was the only enjoyable part of the evening.

We saw at least 5 more parties walk up and be sat down instantly (we were a party of 3 btw). We asked the hostess yet again, when will we be sat down, at this point we've been waiting for an hour we saw a table be cleaned and yet again another walk up was sat down instantly, that was a party of 4. We asked what the hold up was, one hostess said we can be seated now, we walk in and then she stopped us then asked would we like to be sat outside, we said doesn't matter at this point, she jetted outside and left us just standing there on the inside. I asked her what's going on are we being sat down? She said no wait 5 minutes for a table. At this point we're getting frustrated because why is the organization at this point TERRIBLE, but a walk up is not an issue. I then tell the hostess we've been waiting over an hour and you mean to tell me every walk up gets sat down instantly but not the people who have been waiting on the list, she answers me by saying "yes". After a table is cleared on the inside a hostess tells us to follow her to a table, she then asks how many is in my party when she was the main one who checked us in and saw us waiting the whole time. Simple manners and accountability lack here as well when it comes to making mistakes. Only thing I liked was my chai latte. Most likely will not come back here.

The atmosphere didn't feel kid-friendly at all--loud, crowded, and not really accommodating if you have children with you. On top of that, the food didn't match the hype. It looked good but the quality just wasn't there, especially for the price. What really stood out to me though was the dynamic in the restaurant. The entire dining area was filled almost exclusively with white customers, while the visible staff roles felt very segmented in a way that didn't sit right. Here's the puzzle: look around the room, look at who is being seen, look at who is serving, look at who is clearing... and then ask yourself why the only person worth looking at wasn't even part of the experience they're trying to sell. Between the atmosphere, the food quality, and that underlying vibe, it's not somewhere I'd go back to.
