Library Wine Room with Joanne. Amazing!!!

Dunham Cellars is a MUST if you visit Walla Walla. The inviting tasting room with beautiful artwork and an enormous metal Christmas tree stocked with wine bottles sets the tone for the delicious wines offered. Our server, Tessa, was quick and efficient. The wines were extraordinary and each one provided the true talent of the wine maker. I was fortunate to get a private tour by THE OWNER, Joanne Dunham! She spent over 2 hours taking me around the super clean facilities while explaining the process. It was unbelievable and I will not forget this experience! I look forward to returning to Dunham soon.

Wine, it was good. And by "good" I mean absolutely phenomenal! Came here all the way from New Jersey! Coming back ASAP

Had an absolutely wonderful time here and in the midst of COVID this winery is doing everything right. Plenty of masks provided, hand sanitizers, and spacing. Great outside tasting experience and they even offer misters if you are hot! We enjoyed our tasting of 4 whites, 4 reds. The merlot, cab, and Sauvignon blanc were our favorites. Can't wait to go back!

I now belong to a wine club. Had no idea that was going to happen, but I'm happy to belong to the wine club here at Dunham Cellars. Before my trip out to Walla Walla I did a search for wineries on Yelp. This was in the top 10 of most reviewed wineries on this site. Sue and I decided to pick 2 wineries (we ended up going to 3) and this was the first one we chose. First and foremost I would like to say that AJ and Tristan were super friendly. They were doing our pouring today and had good information on Dunham Cellars as well as the Walla Walla area in general. I think Sue and I spent close to an hour here talking with these guys. In all that time only 2 other people came in for a tasting and they were there and gone within 20 minutes. For the tasting we had I believe 7 or 8 different varieties. Reds and whites. There wasn't a bad one in the bunch. Tasting will cost you $5, but the fee is waived if you purchase a bottle. We brought home 2 bottles with us and as I said, I also came home a member of their wine club. Well worth a look. Very affordable wines and friendly employees. Look forward to getting back in the summer.

One of the best Cabernets in town. The airport area was iffy but this facility is beautiful.

The…read morereservation process itself was easy, but the number of follow-up emails and text messages was a bit overwhelming. I understand that it's a small, family-run business, but receiving multiple confirmations felt excessive and not quite the relaxed vibe one looks for while on vacation. That said, the property itself is gorgeous and the setting is beautiful both indoors and outdoors. We were seated outside, and the service was fantastic. Our sommelier was friendly, engaging, and made the experience enjoyable. She took the time to sit with on the parties and have a personal one on one chat .The wines themselves were excellent ,we even ended up buying a bottle. Overall, it was a lovely visit, but it's probably not a place I would prioritize returning to on a future trip.

The staff/owner, were incredibly friendly and made us feel truly welcome with her smile The ambience is modern and inviting perfect for enjoying a glass of wine. The restrooms were spotless and stylish, and a thoughtful touch was the dark chocolate in the women's restroom, which was a lovely surprise. I really enjoyed the overall tasting experience. The tasting menu included two reds and one white, all of which were excellent. The most surprising part came at the end, when we were ready to pay and the staff informed us that the tasting was complimentary. We were genuinely shocked and grateful, and we ended up purchasing two bottles.

A Memorable Visit - Warm Hospitality, Great Wine, and Dog-Friendly!…read more We visited Kinhaven on a Sunday around 2pm and were immediately greeted by Chris, who was incredibly friendly, charismatic, and knowledgeable about the wines and their vineyard sites. He took the time to make us feel welcome, ensuring we were comfortable at our shaded table (it was around 95°F!) and never rushed us through the tasting. He even remembered our names and gave great recommendations for nearby dinner spots to check out after our visit. We brought our Australian Shepherd along, and he was warmly welcomed as well. They also have their own adorable winery dog, Monty (possibly a Shih Tzu?), who was mostly inside but made an appearance toward the end of our tasting. He's a bit cautious with other dogs but very sweet. We sat outside and enjoyed the peaceful setting. We learned Kinhaven also hosts weddings--there had just been one the night before with about 50 guests dining in the orchard. It sounds absolutely picturesque! As for the wines--every single one we tried was impressively good. The $25 per person tasting fee is waived with the purchase of two bottles, which is more than worth it given the quality. Highly recommend visiting--great wine, thoughtful service, and a relaxing, welcoming environment! Exactly what we were looking for!
