So sorry I love the morning crew and actually really love their service and coffee, but the folks that work there in the afternoon have no sense of urgency or service. I live 300 feet away and will probably never go back. I went with a couple friends to get some coffee and donuts. One friend got stale glazed donut holes, the other got a thin mint coffee and blueberry glazed donut holes. The coffee was the only good part of what my friend enjoyed. The blueberry tasted awful, fresh and soft, but artificial and nasty. The bad food was half expected. The scowl from the lady mopping the floor and the frowns of the other women behind the line were also a big warning sign. There was one guy smiling. read more

I can't express with words how excited I am that there are Dunkin' Donuts beginning to make their way to the great state of California. The number here at present must be few indeed, but thankfully I live just down the road from one of them. Dunkin' definitely serves up a cakier donut than their rival Krispy Kreme, which falls perfectly in line with my preference for savory over sweet. I would be sure to order your latte with half the pumps though, unless you're a true sugar enthusiast. The drinks here definitely run sweet. Black coffee is a bit acidic, but that's what I've come to expect. And until I get an ulcer, I won't cease drinking it. As an alternative, you can always get one of the frozen coffee drinks! Be warned that these bad boys pack a nasty calorie count, though. Modify accordingly. Staff here are GREAT! Haven't had bad service even a single time. My only knock is that they don't have soy milk. Only regular and almond. Bummer! Not enough to dock a star, but I did think about it. read more

My son absolutely loves the chocolate frosted donuts , but we tried them at American canyon and they were so disappointing. Barely any frosting . This one, along with the Half Moon Bay one, drew crowds with their fresh donuts and hot coffee. The parking is ample...they share space with a tractor supply store. It's within a distinctly Western locale. I had a Boston creme croissant donut, a Spring donut (green frosting with flower sprinkles), and a cold brew coffee since it was a hot day. The male staff at the register greeted us right away and was friendly and helpful. We ordered 3 regular coffees and an Americano with heavy cream for me. I guess there is not a self-serve station for cream and sugar because he asked what and how much we wanted to add to the coffees. They really should have one available to their customers who eat/drink there. Seating was modern with lots of outlets and free Wi-Fi. This was the best Americano I've had!!!! Temperature and taste was perfect. Everyone enjoyed their coffees too and didn't need to add more sweeteners or complained of it being overly sweetened. We got 9 different donuts and 10 donut holes ($2 special). I didn't think the donut holes were anything great. If I could give these jokers negative stars I would! First of all, 2 coffees, 2 doughnuts and eggs and 1 cheese breakfast sandwich was my order. Ah, the local donut spot. Always synonymous with good times and the good ol' fashioned sugar rush. Often times, no place can out-do a good mom & pops donut. Certainly, the likes of Krispy Kreme is nowhere as tasty as a locally made donut. However, that doesn't mean commercial donuts have to all be bad. I think Dunkin Donuts is the perfect example of this. Now, the FIRST time I had Dunkin was... not even in this country. Nope. My first Dunkin Donuts were had back in my homeland of the Philippines. Granted, I was not the huge food fan (developed palette, and all) that I am today. But STILL, up to that point I had plenty of local donuts, as well as Krispy Kreme. I KNEW I liked Dunkin better because it just tasted better! I would not have Dunkin again until my friends brought me back a few... ALL THE WAY FROM NEW YORK. I still liked it better than Krispy Kreme. So imagine my excitement when I found out that a DD was going to open up in nearby AmCan (or, Vallejo Jr., as I used to call it.) This DD isn't as big as the Walnut Creek location, but it's not really that big of deal. I usually eat donuts at home anyways. Maybe it's a bit a of a pet peeve, but it's a bit annoying that I can't just list off the donuts I want to order. Each and every time I'm interrupted with "wait sir, how many donuts are you ordering?" Mom & pops donuts (and even KK) don't do that. A minor annoyance. Other than that, it's a very clean and no-nonsense shop, and you can clearly see all of your available donut choices. The donuts here do not disappoint either. If left to my own devices, I'm pretty sure I could kill 2 boxes of munchkins. Additionally, it's one of the only places nearby that sells a decent cronut (especially when ordered much earlier in the day.) No matter what kind of donut you're looking, you can't really go wrong here. You'll even find some varieties that you can't neccessarily find at the local donut haunt. The Reese's PB donut being one of those oh-so-tasty options. Again, commercial donuts are no replacement for the mighty local donut shop. Yes, I needed coffee for my drive home from Napa so this place is opened now. Conveniently located right on HWY 29, it is a quick in and out and back on the road. Nice bright interior with a wall of donuts for your pleasure. They also have a drive thru to in case you don't want to get out of your car. Honestly, I've had better donuts but the coffee is pretty good and not overpriced like other competitors. Don't come here two to three hours after their busiest times. 2pm Sunday for example. I got some stale Boston cream. After that point the option to go by there at any point of the day is off the table. But when there are fresh they are amazing. This Dunkin' Donuts was bad. The hashbrowns were so little, so burnt and just was four little tiny pieces. My friends ordered a drink similar to vanilla bean frappe from Starbucks and it tasted like straight up expired milk with a lot of sugar and just ice chunks. Just don't use mobile order. Mobile order means re-heat !!! I have been to this store several times but I'm disappointed recently with my mobile order. After I picked up my food, I noticed once I get back home that they did not strictly followed the customize options I made. To make it worst, they change the croissant to bagel and the bagel is old, and hard as wood. It's obvious that it's only reheated and not freshly made. They also didn't include the receipt in the bag which makes you wonder if it all came from various orders which weren't picked-up and they simply re-pack it. I've been waiting to post this to see if the store or corporate was willing to fix this. It's now been over a month with no resolution. I normally don't post reviews like this but this has been the most ridiculous experience I've ever gone through. Went through the drive through early morning February 8th. The wait time was insanely long with only 2 cars in front of me. After pulling up to the window, the employee charged my card and didn't give me a receipt. Didn't say two words to me either. They gave me and charged me for the entirely wrong order. I ordered a cold brew and a breakfast sandwich which should have been about $10. I was charged $21 for a latte and donut holes. Didn't have time to turn around and come back after the long wait as I was on my way to work. I've called the store with no answer. Called corporate 10+ times and each time I get the same "the store will contact you" answer. I received one phone call I couldn't take while I was working. Called back three separate times on three different days with no answer. Last thing I heard was that a corporate supervisor would be calling me within 24 hours to resolve the issue but that was 3/14 and I haven't heard a thing, it's now the 22nd. Don't get me wrong I should have checked the order, but after being in the drive through for 25 minutes I didn't have the time to. Just a warning to everyone out there to check your orders, what you were charged, and not to count on them to fix their mistakes. read more

Coffee is mediocre at best. They (as do all Dunkin stores) use an automated machine to make your lattes. They simply push a button and machine makes your latte. Same machine Krispy Kreme and Mcdonalds uses. Not knowing this I asked for a medium latte with whole milk and add a shot. Clerk (I think it was her first day) was confused about what whole milk is. (Really?) Manger tells her quietly their milk is 2 % whole milk. I spoke up and said to him 2% is not whole milk. I want whole milk He looks at me and says ya, ya, whole milk. When I stepped over to the area to pick up my latte I saw the machine Immediately I knew he lied to me. Not only did I not get whole milk, I did not get an extra shot. Soon Starbucks will be opening up across the parking lot and what little business Dunkin Donuts has, will be gone. read more
