I visited this Dunkin' in Baldwin Park on Friday, July 3rd, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing from start to finish. As I pulled into the parking lot, another car was backing up, so I waited. Instead of leaving, the driver pulled into the drive-thru ahead of me and drove straight to the pickup window without stopping to order. I was the only customer behind this car. When I reached the order speaker, I placed my order, but by the time I got to the window, that same car was still sitting there. It appeared to be an employee chatting with coworkers at the window while I waited. After several minutes, I slowly inched forward, and only then did the conversation finally end. When I got to the window, the employee who had taken my order told me she had forgotten my order and asked me to repeat it. I ordered an iced coffee and a chocolate glazed donut. While preparing my drink, coffee dripped all over the outside of the cup, and I had to ask the employee to wipe it off before handing it to me. Then I had to ask for a straw because it had been forgotten. When it was time to pay, I realized I never received my donut, and the cashier said she hadn't heard that part of my order. After finally getting my donut, I noticed there were no napkins in the bag, but by then I was just ready to leave. As I drove away, all I could think was, "Please do better." I understand everyone has an off day, but this wasn't just one mistake--it was a series of avoidable issues, combined with employees appearing more interested in socializing than serving the only customer waiting in the drive-thru. A little common courtesy, attention to detail, and better cleanliness when preparing and handing out orders would go a long way. Customer service shouldn't make people feel like they're inconveniencing employees simply by placing an order. I hope management addresses the level of professionalism, cleanliness, and customer service at this location because it has the potential to provide a much better experience. read more

Overcharged and Underserved. I come here at least 3x a week. Usually around 9:30 so it's nothing like the morning rush. Yet, I always have issues. The biggest issue is the consistent "cold foam tax." I pay the extra $1.00 for cold foam every single time I visit, and every single time the drink is handed to me without it. It's reached the point where I have to double-check my order and ask them to fix it before I leave. If you're going to charge a premium for add-ons, you should actually provide them. On top of the order accuracy issues, the drive-thru management is a mess. On my last visit, I was told at the speaker that they were "too busy" and that I had to come inside to order. If the drive-thru is open, it should be functional. Once inside, the staff seemed overwhelmed and were out of basic staples like eggs. There were only 2 people inside when they told me they are "too busy" for drive thru orders. Unless you have extra time to go inside and double-check that you're actually getting what you paid for, I'd skip this location. read more

Overall, great experience I don't come here often actually hardly ever, but was really craving an iced coffee. The guy at the counter was super helpful and gave me his honest opinions. I ended up going with the dunk latte, which was phenomenal. Really enjoyed it! Location was clean unfortunately the bathrooms did not work. They also have to sign that says no public restroom so I'm not sure what that's all about. I was a Dunkin' frequent customer a few years ago then turned to Dutch bros but I have been on Dunkin's so much again definitely has to do with the marshmallow cold foam it is delicious and I was quickly reminded how great the coffee is but also the customer service of this Baldwin Park location is amazing lately I remember before that was part of the reason why I stopped coming so much because the employees were not so friendly but now they are amazing the past two mornings have been two young men I don't remember their names but they are so friendly and make the drinks perfectly! Not super close to my house but they sometime have some great digital offers on the app. Todays was their Ham and Swiss Pretzel Sliders and they were really really good. No greeting, had to address the lady myself since she acted like I wasn't right there while she was trying to organize 3 drinks that were already organized. Placed order multiple minutes before and my drink was ready but the bacon was not so I had to "wait on it" and she went back to doing what she was doing. I just want to change this review. I went in the next day because I did want to ask if I can just get my drink from the night before. After a good night's rest and a calming conversation with my husband, I went in the store for a conversation. The manager on site was so nice and understanding and apologized profusely about the experience. She also let me know that she will have a conversation with the employee since she was new. I stopped in on a Saturday morning to pick up some donuts and coffee. I ended up also picking up the bacon snack, bagel bites, and hashbrowns. For my coffee, I tried the cappuccino. The young men who helped me were all friendly, and the order was prepared in good time. There are lots of tables inside, and it looks like it would be a good place to actually sit and maybe get some work done. That being said, the place was pretty empty as it looks like most people chose to go through the drive-through. Everything was delicious, and I was happy with my experience. So I will say.....since this experience- they have stepped up service. I haven't had an incident since this one with the pour amount. Depending on who is working, sometimes it gets filled to the very top with no ice and other times just at that top line. My son has insisted that I update the review because he loves Dunkin so much. My hope is that the upgraded service continues with no issues. So far, I have to give them kudos for DOING BETTER.
