Dunkin Donuts is awesome! Coffee is great. Donuts are also terrific - they aren't too greasy and they are not undercooked and doughy like they are at other places. They recently had a promotion with Oreo donuts. My gf and I were so sad to see that end - you could get a donut with vanilla filling with oreo crumbles on top. It was the best. First off why is this the only location in Houston. This is one of the most recognized brands in the world and I swear there are more of these in Mexico than here. Dunkin Donut's has the best tasting doughnuts bar none. You know that pink doughnut Homer J Simpsons seems to enjoy so much? Well you can bet that the closes thing you will ever have to that is the strawberry frosting doughnut at dunkins. Each flavor here just blows away other places to the point that I literally will drive 25 min out of my way just to get my hands on some. I've even been late to work a few times, but hey, I get to be the, "Im late because I brought doughnuts for everyone. Then there is the food. I typically stick with the doughnuts here but the food is actually surprisingly good. Their sausage pancake bites are tasty and their melts are very filling. My only issue is this Dunkin has very few options. Seriously locations in Mexico have 10 times as many coolattas, and their stores are huge. Why can't we have that? So glad this store is back open after being closed for a year for the remodel. It's not just a donut shop or a coffee place. Try the tuna salad. It's one of the best sandwich's I've had. Hallelujah! A Dunkin Donuts that only puts me 10 miles out of my way to work! (My morning commute is ~3 miles; taxing, I know.) I arrive to this DD somewhere between 7 and 7:15 am. It's always clean and I never have to wait. My vanilla chai is always ready within 5 minutes of me hitting the door and I am on my way. For those not well acquainted with DD, you should know that despite it's name, no one I know goes there for the donuts. They make delicious beverages. Bellaire is easily my favorite "island city". In addition to being the only place in Houston to get a decent bagel, it is also home to the single Dunkin Donuts I have found in Houston. You can keep your Krispy Kreme, to me Dunkin Donuts is the best donut in town. I've also "rediscovered" Dunkin Donuts' coffee. If you've never tried it, it is full bodied, well balanced, and not as acidic as Starbucks. Also at $13 for two pounds it's a helluva deal. read more

When I was a kid I have very fond memories of my Mom taking me to the Dunkin' Donuts on Shepherd to get munchkins on the way to school. I loved the multi-flavored donut holes then and I love them now. This location was closed for awhile and it made me incredibly sad. But it's back up and running, and seems to be getting pretty good business. There isn't a lot of seating so it's more of a go on take the donuts and run kind of place. I started with 2 stars, but will give them 3 just for the coffee and the munchkins. The other pastries (specifically the red velvet donut) was just not good. They tasted like the fry oil was OLD and had not been changed in a while. The red velvet was also very heavy and way too cakey. I don't mind a good cake donut, but this poor fella was heavy. Came here with my mom. When we pulled up, employees were cleaning the windows and taking the trash out and the inside of the restaurant was super clean. The girls at the front were nice, I asked to try the iced tea before purchasing because I had some at a DD in another state and it tasted funny. The girl did not hesitate and let me try it. My bagel was soft toasted although I asked for it to be double toasted. But my donut was perfect, in fact I don't think I tasted much of it lol. They have the dirtiest floors. Not enough seating. If you come on Sunday mornings, be prepared to either sit and eat on the floor or stand and hold your food. A bunch of old farts come in, buy their coffee and donuts, finish their food, and sit around and talk and take up all the table space. They are usually around from 9 AM till whenever. Avoid this place, unless you are grabbing food and coffee to go. Management does not care. read more

I drive out of my way to come here. I wanted to update my review because of my last few visits have been excellent. The iced coffee has been consistent and very very tasty. I don't even get sugar in it anymore. Doesn't need it. Creamy like it should be, but you can really really taste their excellent coffee. It really shines (as it should I guess). This place is really hitting on all marks now. Even though McDonald's uses arabica beans as well, they are soooo inconsistent with their coffee and it frequently tastes burnt and acidic. NOT HERE. Donuts are alright but certainly nothing to write home about. I love any kind of donut but the best are from a local competitor. I don't mind coming to this Dunkin' Donuts when my wife wants to go, however, there is NEVER a place to sit down. It seems like the same senior citizens are hogging every last chair every time we come in or whenever I drive by and look in their windows. This location is exceptionally TINY inside. The product did not suffer for it though. I would say don't plan on eating inside ever it's just a pickup and go place. THey do have a drive through which is awesome I had never seen a Dunkin Donuts with one before this location. The staff is very fast pasted and kept both registers open calling out coffee orders to the barista while they filled the rest of your order. I'm totally bias on this one. Where I'm originally from we have these on every street corner (no exaggeration). With that said, the quality of a typical cup of coffee varies from location to location depending on how strong they make it. I like mine strong. So, what I do is buy this at Walmart for just under $7/bag and make my own. It is strong yet very, very smooth tasting. It doesn't have any weird flavors like other store bought ones. What a horrible morning I had here this morning! Bleh! Never again... I have been hearing great things about Dunkin Donuts and their coffee. So since I was early to my doctor appointment, so I was curious on what was the whole fuss about since in the EAST coast, people rave about this place and their coffee. Customer service was so horrible! I was in line and got bumped off because I guess I wasn't ordering quick. They had asked what the guy behind me wants, and the guy behind me said, "Uh, she was in line first. Which they just gave me a look and skipped me. " So, I had to say uh excuse me? I came here for caramel ice coffee with cream and sugar (Bleh! McDonald's ice coffee is alot better than this place. It was too much cream and you couldn't taste the coffee at all or even the caramel flavor). Then I got their Boston Cream donut and guess what I found- A hair on my donut. Wow... I showed them the donut and they were like, "Ma'am, its a boston cream donut- well dur! of course I knew it was a boston cream donut"...that's why I ordered it. But I didn't order a side of hair with it too. Plus, I ordered half a dozen of cake donut holes. So they did replace it but I just lost my appetite because of the whole customer service incident. Never again am I going to try this again. I rather go to Starbucks where I know that I'm going to get the great service. So let's look at my bill: (Freaking crazy!!!! I really never take bad reviews to heart when I want to try a new place; maybe the reviewer was having a bad day, maybe the one time they visited was just an off day, but I can say as someone who is having a good day, LOVES Dunkin coffee, and has been to this dunkin a few times, this is the worst dunkin I have ever been to. They prepare the coffee wrong and the service is so cold you just don't feel welcome. Unfortunately this is the closest Dunkin to my work for miles. I just don't get it. What is so fabulous about this watered down, syruped and sugared down coffee? Everyone had this, "No way!" reaction when I showed up with my Dunkin Donuts iced latte and spicy kolaches, but there are way better coffee joints and donut joints out there. Some people may argue that it is convenient to make one stop and knock your entire morning out, but I beg to differ. I really much rather drive all the way to the one on westhimer. They people here always seem to make a mistake on your order, I'm always very straight forward about what I want cause I get the same thing everyday but yet I always seem to order my coffee wrong at this location. I am a DDperks member and right now we have the $1.99 any size espresso coffee iced or hot but when I gave her my DD card on my iPhone I wasn't given the discount because she put it in wrong and then told me that it was my fault cause I didn't show her the coupon first. There was no coupon to show if it's an automatic discount. I only go to this location when I am off from work but I think today was the last day I would be going to this location.
