I am writing this review following an extremely unprofessional and unacceptable interaction at this Minuti Coffee location on Friday. During my lunch break, I stepped into the patio area to attend a scheduled virtual job interview that could not be conducted at my workplace. The café was not busy in fact, only one table inside was occupied, and the entire patio area was empty. I had just arrived and logged into my meeting immediately due to time constraints, with every intention of making a purchase once my interview concluded. While I was actively speaking during the interview, a staff member who appeared to be in a supervisory or managerial role approached me and abruptly demanded to know whether I was going to buy something. I signaled that I was in the middle of a professional meeting and would address her shortly. Instead of showing basic courtesy or situational awareness, she persisted in interrupting me and insisted that I could not remain seated without making an immediate purchase. Interrupting a customer during what was clearly a professional interview is not only inappropriate, it demonstrates a profound lack of judgment, professionalism, and basic respect. The café was largely empty, and there was no operational reason to create a confrontation in that moment. This interaction was embarrassing, unnecessary, and could have had real consequences for a significant career opportunity. Businesses should understand that professionalism extends beyond ringing up transactions it includes discretion, respect, and the ability to assess situations appropriately. I strongly recommend that ownership or corporate leadership review staff training at this location. Conduct like this reflects poorly not only on the store, but on the Minuti brand as a whole. This experience has permanently impacted my willingness to return or recommend this establishment. read more

They always make great coffee drinks and the apple leaf pastry i tried was tasty down to the last bite. The grande hot cappucino was very good and my wife's grande mocha ice-o...their version of a frozen blended coffee drink.... was even better. read more

Visited this location because it was on my route to do other errands. The only bad thing I can say about this is that the route to get into the parking lot is annoying but the actual establishment was just like the other Minuti's. I order a PSL with oat milk and it was actually pretty good. I would go back if it was on my route. read more

I ordered to-go coffee from here a while back and enjoyed what I ordered. On Sunday's I like to go to a coffee shop, sit down, and enjoy my coffee. I have to say I was slightly bummed, and probably won't be returning This location is a little interesting tucked away into a corner of a bustling shopping center. The parking lot is a little confusing to navigate I walked in and no one was sitting on the inside. It was completely empty except for staff members. The layout is spacious and clean. Some of the upholstery is worn down, and you have to be buzzed into the restroom. There are also signs on tables saying you can't loiter which doesn't make for an inviting ambiance The staff were fine. I wasn't greeted when I walked in. In fact, they were all talking to themselves until I made my way to the front. I did hear they welcome in other patrons after me, which rubbed me the wrong way The order came out in a timely manner, but they made my coffee to-go. I knew they had coffee cups and plate ware to enjoy while sitting at the shop, and that's what I was looking forward to. When I told them they basically shrugged and went about their day. Too milky! I love Minuti Coffee but not this location. It's bad enough you have to be on Westheimer and that this location doesn't offer a drive through. But what I like about Minuti is the know how to make a cappuccino, but now I'm stuck with a hot cup of milk with some coffee. read more

Glad to get coffee this morning as the two other places I went to were closed during business hours and I was needing a caffeine fix! Barista was nice. It's Westheimer on corner of Fountainview. Oat cappuccino was hot and good and I didn't get a chance to finish before my hair appointment but it was still pretty warm when I finished it after my hair appointment! I decided to get hot chocolate and use on of their flavored syrups- I tried the toasted marshmallow syrup and it was DELICOUS! Literally tasted like s'mores in a cup. I stopped by here this past Saturday after leaving an appointment. I had passed this coffee shop before and I finally decided to try it. The staff were really nice and actually helped me decide on what I ordered. The coffee was so good it had the right mix of coffee and milk. I also had a pistachio muffin which was pretty tasty. I took mine to go but it is a cute coffee shop and has outdoor sitting as well so would be ideal for a nice Houston day. I do want to return and try the gelato! Fun fact! This Minuti location in the Galleria used to be the first Starbucks in Houston, now the local Italian Coffee Giants have taken over! I'm a huge fan of Minuti, I've probably been to every location in the city. They are always a good place to get a small bite to eat, coffee, tea, and some studying done. They are well known for their Chai Lattes. You can get them iced, hot, and with oat or almond milk. You can also get a Dirty Chai if you are feeling really adventurous. Good stuff, descent service, and always a go-to coffee spot of mine. I'd definitely recommend. read more

I tried minuti coffee near my house about an year ago and i wasn't expecting much but this location is so bright and cozy! The cafe was pretty full when i visited, most people just getting their work done. The staffs were warm and welcoming. They had quite a lot of drink choices, just not coffee, and for me, their ice cream corner really caught my eyes. I got their caramel creamicino and it's vanilla ice cream blended in caramel coffee and omg it's sooo good! I must admit it's sugary and unhealthy however it's kinda worth it once in a while. It normally comes with whipped cream too but I opted out. You can choose non-dairy and I went with soy milk. They also put drizzle on top which is either caramel, chocolate or white chocolate and I went with white chocolate. On the bakery side, they have pistachio and chocolate chip (i think) muffins and chocolate chip and raisin cookies... and bunch of other pastries and quick snacks. In the end corner, they sell mini espresso cups, mugs, and containers... they are super cute! Overall, the holiday vibe in the cafe, friendly customer service and good drink made me happy! read more

The inside is small with a few small tables, high tables, and couch seatings. They also have outdoor seatings. I prefer indoor because the place is in the middle of a busy intersection of Westheimer. A good selection of coffee on their menu. I went with the dirty chai latte in grande as recommended by the staff. Quick and friendly service. The dirty chai latte was warm and the taste was simply delicious as expected. Everything on their menu was calling my name. There is also baked goods and gelato. I went with a pistachio muffin. You can have it heat up. Definitely recommend the pistachio muffin as a light snack with your coffee. Ideal place to do work and be productive. There is efficient Wifi. The WiFi password is "fountainview". The ambience here is casual and warm. People come and go so it wasn't as crowded. They have instrumental music playing with low volume. Taste of Houston/ Galveston trip was not going well till we went to Minuti Coffee. After mediocre food and bad service for 2 days in row, we got pleasantly surprised at Minuti Coffee. Service at 5-star with a smiling welcome from the barristers, explaining their history and drinks. Also, redo promise if we don't the drink promise if we don't like it! I was pleasantly surprised when I stopped by Minuti Coffee this morning. I've driven past this location every single day on my route to work for the last two years, but I have always opted for more traditional coffee chains. That's going to have to change because this place has a unique flair and some seriously authentic Italian coffee. The young lady at the counter was very polite and knowledgeable explaining some of their signature drinks to me. I ended up getting an iced shakerato which was about 3 shots of espresso shaken over ice with flavored syrup and cream. It was delish! I also tried to breakfast tacos and they didn't disappoint. Disappointed. Love Italian coffee, in Italy anyway, but this cup of regular Joe was not tasty. If you ever run your Keurig through a second time with the same pod, you know the taste. In addition, a friend got a fancy espresso that was way to sweet. I recommended she have them correct it by adding a little bland regular coffee. I like this location, because of the manager and how friendly the staff can be. Now, before Minuti I heard this fable of bad coffee from Starbucks. I really thought that was the trendy thing to say. When my fiancee would say it, I'd just respond, "Yes dear, bad coffee" or something similar. So, he brought me here wanting to convert me and he did with a chai tea latte with almond milk. Now, I'm the girl that gets the sugary, non drip coffee. The more cream, sugar, and diabetes you can fit into a cup, the more I like it. I thought it was so uber delicous and felt anyone could make it. I went to order the same thing from a Starbucks a week later and was like, "What is this, Satan's milk?" Yes, quality coffee, teas, and coffee mixes do taste different. Aside from the high quality beverages they have a neat assortment of gelatto and ice cream/gelatto mash ups. The decorations inside the store are very pretty, to a girl's sensibilties though the tables can be small and they are not filled with outlets. However, when you think about the customer service and the fact that the outlets and small tables are not the best place for those needing to study, for my purposes it's a five star place. I'm usually here coloring, and it's such a nice relaxing location. I love it and it doesn't hurt that it's nearby a restaurant I like too. I stopped by Minuti Coffee to do a little work outside of the office on a Thursday. Located off of Westheimer, they're in the same shopping center with a bunch of other restaurants and businesses. The parking lot can get pretty busy but you'll find a spot. The best way I can describe Minuti is that they're Starbucks on steroids. Minuti has a pretty awesome history. They started off in Italy. I can't deny that I'm partial to a lot of Italian things. I lived in Italy for a month so I'm all about Italian wine, Italian food, and anything that brings back the nostalgia factor. Minuti has expanded to three other countries. They have coffee shops in Tokyo, Houston, and one other location I can't recall. Their menu is really similar to Starbucks, they just have slightly different names for everything. I went with their strawberries & cream ice-o which corresponds to a strawberries & cream frappucino at Starbucks. But. everything's just better at Minuti compared to Starbucks. My drink tasted better. I like the decor better. They have a good amount of comfortable seating. While it's smaller than your typical Starbucks, it wasn't super packed or anything when I stopped by. Their music selection is better. They have a TV playing European soccer. The only thing I thought was a little weird? You have to ask one of the employees to push a button so you have access to go to the restroom. I've seen places do this in Europe to ensure you buy something and don't use the restrooms for free and then leave. But it's highly unusual for the U.S. With that being said, Minuti is officially my favorite coffee shop in town. I haven't tried any of their food items but it's the perfect place to do some work or study. Added bonus: they have gelato! Six flavors or so. If you get a small, you have the choice of two flavors.
