Stopped in with my husband to pick up our daughter from work. The place is tiny and hardly any place to sit. Maybe most people get their coffee and donuts to go...so maybe ample seating is not necessary. We ordered some donut holes, and as always, they were tasty. This place was hard to find, but we were from out of town, and after wandering around for about 5 minutes, we finally asked someone, and they pointed us in the right direction. There is street parking, a parking lot within walking distance and public transport. Keep in mind that parking is metered, so make sure you have a monet for the machine. read more

This is not a bad location, considering it being next to Bethesda metro station, very convenient and they have good options of stuff you can buy here and they make it quick too. Be it as it may I only come here as an errand person for my co-worker, the employees are exceedingly friendly while providing fast customer service. Don't let the AM rush fool you with the high need for coffee or the sugary enhanced concoctions, the staff keeps the line moving in a pleasant order. Tisoni (I hope is correct) has had a ray of sunshine smile planted on her face each time I come here. Today the young man who was wiping down the counters & restocking the condiments offered his pardon so I could grabbed a straw, asked if I need anything else & bestowed upon me a great day. As for location being key, whether going to or coming from the Bethesda Metro Station, the colorful pink & orange DD's is hard to miss. Just to note, kudos to the employee's neat uniforms. read more

Unfriendly staff who blatantly tell you that you are holding up the line when you ask them what is in a specific meal. When I specified my order it still had cheese even though I did asked for no cheese. It seems courtesy and listening has gone out the door. On the bright side their doughnuts looked fresh and displayed nicely. Another plus is that is is right by the Metro and red line. read more

Whoever came up with the idea for this location of DD was genius. It's perfectly located at the Bethesda Metro and I can't help but almost always stop in for a medium coffee with cream before heading into work. Even when the line starts to wrap around the tiny store, it moves quickly. The morning staff are always cheery and ready to prepare your morning caffeine fix (or donut or whatever). Again, I thank whomever came up with the idea to open here. Saves me from having to do the Starbucks run for my gazillion coworkers. "Oh, you wanted me to do a coffee run? I come to this location often. They need to work on their speed in the AM's. I feel they are understaffed. Not enough people working there and the store just gets packed with people waiting for food and drinks. I feel like every time I come here, they mess something up in my order. Once, I got the 2 bagel deal, only got 1 bagel, had to wait longer. Another time, they gave me a Small ice coffee when my receipt said Medium. Also, I always hate putting sugar over ice (I like it on the bottom) so when I went to the cashier once with 2 packets of sugar so the drink maker can put it on the bottom, they looked at me funny and confused like they've never heard of doing this before. This Dunkin is located right outside the Bethesda metro escalators. Since I work in Bethesda I'm only ever here during rush hour, but with that said I've only ever had one bad experience out of the dozens of times I've been here. Service is as fast as they can be and the employees are generally very friendly. They know how to accept the Dunkin app and I've seen them participate in a free sample day when there was a new coffee flavor to try. The one bad experience was a night I stayed late at work and was starving, so before I headed down to the metro I decided I'd grab a bagel. It was officially 2 minutes before their listed closing time but when I opened the door two employees shouted that they were closed and I couldn't buy anything. Major bummer, especially since all the bagels were still sitting in the display. BUT every other experience has been smooth, friendly, and great! read more

The East Coast cult. I had to know what it was about. What it's about is quick coffee, donuts, and sandwiches. It has this cool niche of serving people who are moving on foot, to and from public transit. Totally not a Californian thing. The coffee is good black, but the typical seems to be with plenty of cream and sugar. It was fine like that too, though I'll always default to something less sweet. I had a donut and a sandwich over two visits to this location, and the speed with which I was served was impressive. I can see why East Coast transplants to California miss it, but it's definitely not a regular thing for me. read more

PLEASE have someone else make the sandwiches. The lady who spends her time making these does it based on quantity, not quality. I order bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant role almost everyday and she does not bother to warm up the egg, cheese, and bacon, only the bread so my sandwich always tastes like a cold cut sandwich (cold cheese!). Another woman who makes the coffee sometimes makes the sandwiches and does a GREAT job at warming up everything at one time. Dunkin Donuts is always going to be Dunkin Donuts. Any Dunkin Donuts is going to be the same exact fast breakfast food, all for a nice cheap price. Pros: + Location! This one is right in the bus depot, making it the perfect place for quick snacks while you wait for the bus (or metro). + Donuts are essential to the morning commute. + Cheap as always. $1 donuts Cons: - It doesn't look very nice though since its in a ratty bus depot. - The food other than donuts just tastes flimsy and sad. Coffee isn't the best there either. - Donuts aren't too good either. They lack the fresh taste and aren't even served warm. Normally, I would give the average Dunkin Donuts only two stars, but this one is in such a convenient location that it's hard to reject it completely. read more

I come here at least one a week when I take the metro into our Bethesda client. I'm so sick of this crap location I can't even tell you. Literally every time I come here, they screw something up. Today was the last straw. It's a simple order - large vanilla iced coffee and a chicken bacon croissant. But somehow, that's asking too much of the good people of Dunkin Donuts. I received a coffee that was severely lacking in flavor, and still dark brown. I had to ask for the honey mustard myself to put it on the sandwich, but even that didn't save it. I threw out half the sandwich, and almost all of the coffee. I can't envision spending any money on this craphole in the future. The best part is, it's not even my money, it's a business card. I don't even want to waste my BOSS'S MONEY on your awful food. read more

I just came from Store #352248 @ 7500 Old Georgetown Rd - 11.14.18. At 3:15:57pm I'd entered my order for a medium vanilla chai latte with almond milk. My total was $4.12, I gave the cashier $4.25. She gave me a dime, left the register without giving me my receipt & proceeded to fill the order. I very politely excused myself & asked her for my 3 pennies, letting her know that I like pennies. She returned to the counter, rifled through her tip cup, all the while informing me that she didn't think 3 pennies was that important & threw the 3 coins at me! I picked up my receipt off the register & informed her that it was my money & was as important as I wanted it to be, I then asked for a manager. She told me she was the manager! I asked her name, she said it was Tammy. I stayed & got my drink, but since it was "Tammy" that made it, I did not trust it & could only bring myself to throw it away before leaving the store. I work near this location &, until today, have enjoyed going there to purchase my beverages. However, the ridiculous actions, rude attitude & completely unprofessional behavior of this employee is utterly unacceptable. Is this how they train their employees to interact w. their loyal customers? I can't. read more

I love Dunkin...plain and simple. This particular Dunkin is conveniently located at the Bethesda metro inside the bus terminal area. I've never been here during commuter hours, so I've had pretty quick service. I had their snickerdoodle latte with almond milk the other day & it was on point! Definitely made waiting for the bus a bit more enjoyable & warm. I'm sure I'll check them out again when I'm in the area. read more

As a franchised coffee shop with fairly reasonable prices..I don't have high expectations for the service and I expect that the donuts/coffee will taste the same at every location (which it does). My review is not necessarily for the location, but Dunkin Donuts itself because I am a huge fan of their hot coffee. Straight black...their coffee is delicious!! I can't say the same for their donuts or breakfast options, as I think there are better local shops out there, but their coffee really does hit the spot! read more

I went here a couple weeks ago to pick up breakfast for a friend. Fair warning: if you're as unfamiliar with the Bethesda metro stop as I was, this place will be difficult to find--I hadn't realized at first that you needed to venture into the bay of shuttle buses to reach the glowing temple of donuts and coffee that is this Dunkin. Otherwise, I can't think of anything bad to say about this place. The donuts were plentiful and the fruit smoothies were delicious, and the atmosphere was surprisingly laid-back. Also, I can't thank the cashier enough for her patience while I scrambled to get my order and my money together. Anyway, if you're ever in need of a classic, delicious breakfast in a pinch, go here. This Dunkin' Donuts continues to get worse. I used to come here every morning, as it's right off the Bethesda metro station. However, some of the staff they have just don't care. They take their time, mess up orders, etc. today I waited for over 15 minutes for a ham, egg, and cheese on an English muffin. I HAD TO ASK ABOUT IT. Turns out, the guy messed up the orders and gave wrong ones to wrong customers, even though there are tickets and numbers printed out. Once I got my order and got one my bus, the put bacon on the sandwich instead of the ham I had asked for. read more

She doesnt usually say hello and seems to constantly get my order (which is the same) wrong every time. She also decided to not give me back all my change today and tried to keep some of it. Dunkin is great, and this one is my favorite location. The manager and staff are attentive and take great care to get people in and out quickly. The coffee rocks. The only complaint about Dunkin is the new lids. They spill everywhere which is a lousy experience. read more
