Just off the interstate and right near the Franklin Pierce Highway bridge that takes you to New Hampshire, mostly because I didn't want to make coffee in the van this morning. I spent three hours here this morning. Clean, comfortable enough as started my work morning on their wifi while sipping at a large coffee. No one minded that I was here for that long and I got to watch a lot of people coming and going to get their morning caffeine as well. This is the original Dunkin' Donuts in Brattleboro. First came here in 1975 and still have pic of jelly donut smeared all over my face. I try to eat more of the donut these days and put less on my face, but the donuts are just as good. read more

This was the third and last of the three Dunkin's we visited on our New England trip. It was very near our hotel in Brattleboro. It is a tricky location on a traffic circle so pay attention how to get in and out of the parking safely and still be headed in the direction you need. There are Dunkin locations all over but many are tiny and inside places like gas stations. Do yourself a favor and go to a stand alone full service Dunkin, especially if you actually want a genuine Dunkin Donut. Which is in fact the ONLY reason I go. I don't like the coffee, I have other places where I like the breakfast sandwiches and even out west it is not a REAL Dunkin Donut. Those are factory baked and shipped regionally to stores who merely fill or decorate to serve. At least in the Boston, RI, or greater New England area they are baked reasonably local though not live each morning in each store anymore. But at least you can see and taste that they are fresh. It's why I come here when I'm in the area. I grew up getting them fresh in New England and you smell the difference when you walk in the door. I always have one of my traditional choices, the powdered sugar jelly filled, the powdered sugar lemon filled or the glazed version of these or of the munchkins. On this trip I had one of everything, I think here in Brattleboro, I had the glazed munchkins before we set out on the highway to travel further north to Hanover NH. When my favorite coffee company is not nearby a Dunkin, I get tea with my donuts. Here, I had hot as it was cold rainy day. In summer in situations like this I will get an iced tea. I never get theircoffee though many I know are happy to do that. read more

Typical Duncan coffee and donuts. I'm a frequent visitor. They always have the music turned up so loud it is hard to hear anything. It's deffening. I understand they don't have speakers behind the counter so they crank it up in the lobby so they can hear it back there. Either turn it down or install speakers back there. read more

The parking lot was packed, we stopped on a southbound 91 roadtrip for a midmorning cup of coffee and donut. Inside was crowded, but the staff of 3 was doing their best to keep up. They did move us along, but when we got to the donut case - it was occupied by numerous flies.... On the donuts and crawling on the glass. I didn't even get to order since the line for the drive thru didn't even get to me before I decided to leave the line. I could tell they were probably extremely short staffed and that's not on the employees but on management. There was a significant gap in wait time between each car ordering. I waited about 30 minutes before I left to another Dunkin in Brattleboro that was only a little bit faster but sadly not by much. My plea for management is to turn off the order ahead feature when you know you're going to be short staffed. That way you can cater to those physically either ordering inside or driving up. Don't let your workers work under those conditions with lack of support from management. read more

This has got to be one of the worst locations for Dunk's ever. The service is always slow, and you are likely going to get a terrible tasting coffee. I have tried over and over again to give this place a chance even after communicating with the Manager of this location. It's just terrible and I will not be visiting again. Last time there I ordered in advance, got there and waited 10 minutes just to be acknowledged, and still ended up waiting for them to make the coffee, after I had already been waiting. Worst customer service The old white lady, and the fat old guy with their crater faces are just rude! Need to retire with their incompetence. She slammed my food down today (12/2) on the counter because I told her it was wrong & then wouldn't apologize after she admitted to giving me the wrong order. Everyday, it's worse. The other day, (11/28) the old guy was mad because I wanted my order made with all the stuff I purchased with it. The attitudes are just tremendously unprofessional. If you hate your job, quit. Like, I know this is a fast food place but this Dunkin' Donuts honestly blows all others out of the water. The staff are always courteous and patient, and non judgmental as I come here multiple times a day (depending on the day). The food is typical, sometimes the coffee is too hot- but it is what it is, sustenance to get me through the day. With it being one of the only late night options for food around town, it works in a pinch for folks burning the midnight oil. Plus they have free wifi. I will admit that sometimes this place has a very long line, or that your order with only two cars ahead of you seems to be taking an eternity- but that doesn't bother me, because the employees are just so NICE! Like they alleviate my anxiety as I roll up to the window, aggravated that it took 3 minutes to get my donut instead of it being instantaneous. That's why I gave 4 stars instead of 3. This is the most ridiculous set up in Brattleboro. Only has drive thru . Once you are in the line and order your estimated wait time is anywhere between 25 and 30 minutes. Lady at the window is very chatty and talks to everyone 7-8 minutes AFTER they have their orders. Do not ever go there. Coffee tastes burned and donuts are like hockey pucks. read more

This Dunkin' gets the job done, and it's always busy due to its location. Today there was a line of traffic going 3/4 of the way around the building. Inside is smaller than average, with about 6 tables and only a single bathroom (there can be a bit of a wait). There's not a lot of space for displays of products such as their coffees, so it's very limited. My order was processed reasonably quickly. I'll use this as an opportunity to also comment on their new Pumpkin Cheesecake Squares, as this was the first Dunkin' at which I had seen them (and my opinion of them does not affect this DD's rating). In a word: bleah. It is essentially a square donut (so it does get harder if it stays on the rack for a while), filled with a yellow-orange "creme" which is no doubt compliments of flavor-producing companies out of New Jersey. Its flavor reminded me neither of pumpkins or cheesecakes. It was topped with glazes and sprinkles. This morning I stopped in at this Dunkin' Donuts location before work and ended up regretting thie decision. I ordered at the drive-thru and was greeted by a really polite employee. She took my order and when I moved forward the problem began. I ended up waiting in line for what seemed like an eternity even though there were only two cars in front of me. When I order the person at the drive thru again was very pleasant but the coffee did not taste good. 100% RUDE! DON'T GO TO THIS DD! My family has been stopping at this DD for years and now they will NEVER get our business again! We stopped to get coffee and use the rest room as we often do and were immediately accosted with rudeness and yelling from the staff including the owners son for not having a mask on. The unprofessionalism displayed was something I have never encountered in my 56 years of going to restaurants. In Vermont it is not a law only a recommendation to wear a mask. I just had surgery and to help promote healing I was advised to not wear a mask. Upon entering the entire staff started yelling at me and my wife to get out of the DD and they wouldn't serve us without a mask. I explained that I had surgery and before I could explain anything more they yelled even more to leave. I asked my wife to get me a darn mask while I went into the rest room. While I was in the rest room the owners son told the staff NOT to serve my wife or me even though my wife had her mask. When I came out of the rest room and started going to the exit one of the women behind the counter said " He's an idiot" directed at me. That is unacceptable and no one should go through this even if you have a no mask no service policy. Well no need to worry. OUR FAMILY WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THE I-91 EXIT 3 DD EVER AGAIN! read more

This location can get pretty busy; it's right off 91 and it's a popular exit for people to hop off and get a meal. There are a number of places to eat close to the exit. The parking lot can be busy as well. Technically, you can loop around the building unless you go through the drive through. We've had good experiences when we've been here. He staff is generally friendly and gets you in and out quickly. Of course, there's always someone who's going to slow things down with an overly complicated coffee order. (Like the one person ahead of us who once ordered 4 boxes of Joe...then said: "Oh, I meant 4 large coffees" How do you confuse the two?) The inside isn't huge, but there's usually a table to grab if needed. All in all, a good spot to get your D&D fix. read more

The poor staff here is being horribly mislead by their manager. I went in on Friday evening as the manager decided to tell the two staff members that he was leaving for the day, with a lobby full of people and a drivethru full of cars. The young woman working was running around everywhere while the man she was training was doing his best to keep up while visibly panicking. Not how i believe a manager should be supporting his team. I love Dunkin Donuts! I know donuts have zero nutritional value but when you want some fried dough you want some fried dough! I use to get coffee with cream but I've had one to many where the cream tastes a little off. The coffee can't be legal because it's VERY addicting. I've tried to brew it at home but I'm convinced they sold their name to a different company because it sorta smells right but never tastes the same. When I was a kid I thought Dunkin Donuts was awesome. As a teen I thought their coffee was awesome. As an adult...no thanks. The donuts have a really fake vanilla-cake-mix flavor (in the raised yeast donuts!) and the last time I tried their coffee it was pretty bad. I don't eat donuts very often, and I'd rather eat the ones from Hannaford or Price Chopper, take that as you will. Their breakfast sandwiches seem expensive to me too, so I've never tried one, maybe they're worth it but I'm not going to find out in the foreseeable future. read more
