Really frustrating experience at this Dunkin' on 5/21/26 around 10:30 AM. My husband went through the drive-thru and made an order. Our order was a breakfast sandwich, hashbrowns, 4 wake up wraps, a coffee, and he tried to get a few donuts but was told they didn't have the ones we wanted, so he ordered munchkins instead. At the window, he was only given 1 wake up wrap instead of 4 and had to go back through the line to get the rest, with no apology. Once home, we realized more of the order was wrong. The coffee was made with 3 french vanilla shots, 6 liquid sugar, and 4 cream instead of what was ordered, and it was so overloaded with sugar and additives that it looked curdled and was completely undrinkable. The munchkins were also completely incorrect. We ordered glazed, chocolate, and jelly, but received random flavors including fruit punch and other varieties no one in our house will eat, with no communication or approval for substitutions. I called the store right away and initially got no answer. When someone did pick up, the employee identified herself as Nellie, though our receipt lists the name Yaneli. She apologized but did not take accountability and said nothing could be done because no manager was there. I could clearly hear a male employee in the background telling her to tell me to go down to the location to fix the issue, even though this is a drive-through only store with no customer access. Not once did they offer to take my name or number to fix the issue. When I called back at 8 AM today, as instructed, and asked for the manager Megan, the person who answered was extremely rude, refused to take my name or number to follow up, said they didn't know where Megan was, and then hung up on me. At this point, we paid for items we did not receive as ordered, the issue was never corrected, and the situation was handled with a lack of honesty and accountability. Between the incorrect order, being misled on the phone, and no effort to resolve it, this was an unacceptable experience. read more

This place has the worst costumer service on route 12. The people that talk on the overcom, you can't even understand half the time. You place an order and you can't even count on getting the right order the whole order at all. The. If you have an issue, you can't even get adequate customer service on the return. The place should've never became a mobile depot. It did so much better before. Most of the people that work here also don't really care about their job and the product they produce! This team was working extremely hard this morning, they messed up a few items but were under constant stress from a long line of cars. I feel bad for them, because while they were stressing, a poor worker whose shift started at 10:00, sat in his car for 20 minutes and watched his coworkers struggle to complete orders. When he was asked to come to in because they were backed up, he replied with, "I work a 6 hour shift, I don't want to come in early". I sincerely hope this team finds somebody new, as this is pathetic behavior shouldn't be tolerated anywhere. read more

This DD is now a To-Go five thru only one. Went there on a slow day, no one in line or behind us so there was no pressure to rush our order. We like using liquid sugar so I made sure they knew we wanted liquid sugar. Drive up, paid and was given our 2 ice coffees. The worker looked at us like that was it.... I stared back at him and finally asked for a couple straws. After I looked all around the window to see if you had to specifically ask for one. Since you know, some places won't provide any unless you ask. Seeing none was when I asked for the straws. Drove away, and tasted the drink. Mistake one - always taste while there. There was no sugar! Ugh, this DD used to be really good with service, etc. So not sure what happened. read more

Where I come from all of the Dunkin Donuts are pretty much obsolete. I have always been a Dunkin' fan. In my area, Tim Hortons reigns supreme and it breaks my heart. During my trip to Connecticut I fell in love with the pumpkin coffee, black. No cream, no sugar, just the pumpkin coffee in its pure form. This location was close to our hotel, and we stopped before continuing on the road. The drive thru was quick, despite the long line of cars. My order was correct. And delicious. read more

I was informed that I was wrong about the address, and I was wrong. The actual address of the Dunkin' we visited was at: 242 Greenmanville Ave (in the Mobil Gas Station). However, I/we were absolutely not wrong about the shape of the establishment. The employees were ridiculously unkempt, rude, and uninterested. And, it was absolutely the filthiest fast food place I've ever been in. I was embarrassed that this is what my daughters saw for their first time in CT. We did not get any food because of the filth, despite really wanting doughnuts. It was too far gone to take that risk. A former employee commented that it was because of covid that the tables had been left unclean. Trust me, it was not covid related. The fact that there were only 2-two seated tables available was likely covid related but the fact that there were doughnuts?, food remnants, crumbs & liquid spills (both dry & wet) on the floor had nothing to do with anything other than poor management, poor hiring skills, unmotivated employees, and just complete apathy towards customers and service. My mother is like a saint, she goes to church almost daily, doesn't say a bad word about anyone, etc. They were rude to her as well, that is when I wrote the review. The woman was holding out her hand, annoyed that my mom was taking so long getting the money out of her purse. No one else was in line or at the Dunkin' except the 4 of us. We were dressed nicely and behaved friendly with manners. We were having a nice weekend. It just shocked me to see such blatant neglect at an establishment like Dunkin' and that it was still in business! I've had much better experiences in bodegas. Mom & Pop places take pride in their businesses. I love Dunkin' but they need to be more aware of what is going on in their stores/franchises? Not good for business. Figured out how you can have 6 people on the clock and still take 15 minutes to process 3 cars in the drive through; have a delivery in which 5 of the employees watch the driver move things. Still unable to figure out how that is a good idea, however. Coffee is inconsistent. Drive thru is routinely backed up for no real discernable reason. Personnel are curt and lack most of the basics of really what boils to common courtesy. "Whatcha want?" in a bored, blatantly I'm-only-here-for-the-paycheck tone isn't what one uses when trying to keep a paycheck in most places, but this one seems to be a unicorn. Head a half mile towards SubBase and hit the Henny Penny DD and get consistency and courtesy for the same price. read more

They were really smart and didn't give us a receipt so we can't even take the customer experience survey, which has happened the last few times I've had a bad experience here, so that's interesting... I ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese on the side. They put cream cheese on the bagel and then charged us extra when I reminded them I wanted it on the side.. they also forgot to give us change. It wasn't a horrible experience, but it's getting annoying that they keep not giving me receipts. Btw there is a long wait here so if you're stopping for breakfast on your way to work leave about 15 minutes early. read more

This is honestly the worst Dunkin' Donuts on the face of the planet. We moved here about 2 months ago and our order is never correct. Wrong drinks, no straws, missing food. Every time we ask for a "Iced" drink it comes out hot. It's miserable. They are always sold out of flavor donuts every day. We will not be back. read more

If you think you're being smart by going into the store...you're not. You're making the worst mistake of your life. You'll wait 10-15 to be acknowledged and THEN you'll watch as they prioritize drive thru orders. Half the staff will be standing around waiting for drive thru. Once you do get your order placed you're still going to be required to wait because your food is their last priority. Just like now. I got food 5 minutes before my drinks. Came here on a Sunday morning. The cashier was nice and my coffee was great. Wait time was average.

Disappointed with the service. Staff was not friendly and when we asked for a senior discount (had a senior with us), they rejected us even though we always get a senior discount at other Dunkin Donuts locations. Our senior then joked that their boss is a stingy person, to which the cashier actually said yes! Wow. I don't even know what to say to that. For the last five months I have been going to this Dunkin in Groton and they always have messed up my order or given me someone else order. The drive through takes FOREVER to get through and I even waited 15 minutes one time JUST to get the WRONG order handed to me AFTER THEY HANDED ME SOMEONE ELSES THROUGH THE WINDOW! unbelievable. Apparently this Dunkin Donuts doesn't accept Dunkin Donuts Coupons. Other than that it's a pretty standard location and I would've had no issue. Everyother location I stopped at on my Navy Base tour of New England accepted them without issue, so yeah, I experienced better. read more

Pulled up to get 2 lattes, most of the people in the store weren't wearing masks, including the manager. This is the second time I have had this problem. The first time I had them remake the order, this time I just had them refund me and I talked with the manager. Everyone of the East Coast complains that the West Coast does not have a Dunkin Donut. Well in the last few months I have had several opportunities to try out their coffee and donuts. My son is the donut lover and every time he has one of their donuts he says that they are ok and doesn't finish them. I love coffee and I drink it black but even black their coffee is pretty weak. read more

Once again Yelp helped me find a Dunkin Donuts close to my area. Makes me wonder why I didn't sign up sooner!! Being a stranger in a strange land and having worked for a major coffee chain years ago, I know the lingo changes when you go different places. Folks in New England call it "extra/extra" while here in Jersey we call it "light and sweet". So while I no longer drink it that way, I knew "large iced black" would save me. Bagels were on par with what I have come to find in all DnDs, Coffee was great, and the staff was more than friendly as they chatted me up while I waited and made fun of my Jersey accent...it was all in good fun though! read more

Sat in line for 15 mins to be told wait on the side lot for another 10 minutes for a HOT latte and HOT cofee! Only to be given a sad chilly barren COLD latte and COLD cofee. This experience at Dunkin was the worst ever. First, the person taking the order had my mother repeat it 4 times. As we got up to the window, we paid and we got the bag of donuts. My mom asked if they could Be in separate bags. The guy who took the order told her he asked if she wanted the bags. He did not, no one heard it. Instead of doing what she requested, he called her special and gave her attitude, also called her names. We requested for the manager, and at first he wasn't gonna get her. But another employee got her and the manager helped a lot, and the manager (Cheryl) refunded my mom. But the guy who took our order (David) was extremely rude. read more

Quite possibly the worst Dunkin I have ever been to. Not only have they consistently gotten my order wrong but it is usually takes for ever and the quality is lacking. I am sure I this place was ever really looked at by the Dunkin Franchise they would shut the place down. It is not up the the quality of the brand. Very disappointed. read more

I come here before work at least 3 times a week and everyone is always friendly and at 6:30(ish) in the morning, very speedy! Only ONCE has my drink been made wrong. Otherwise, always spot on. Use the DD app for your phone and get tons of "perks." read more

Waited for iced coffees in drive thru for 40 minutes while they sat inside talking hiding in the back then when they came to window I paid for the order and almost got charged again for the order cause they left me waiting for the coffees so they didn't think I paid all ready .wtf! read more
