It has been a while since I posted, but this awful experience at Knightdale Dunkin' Donuts this past weekend made me want to post. The person taking my order just stared at me and even when I said hi, would you like me to start my order now? He said nothing. Then he tried to charge me $24 for three coffees. When I told him that is wrong. He just made the adjustment Without any kind of customer service! Then he gave me the wrong coffees. I saw the right ones behind him and asked him to please pay attention to what he's doing! I would definitely never never never go back to this Duncan... Contacted customer service and was told we'd be refunded/get an email... still haven't received refund or email from DD customer support, tried to talk to manager in store, they refused to refund or give the exact order. I went in with a simple order- SEC x E on a croissant with a large hot black tea- nothing added. Kylah was the person ringing me up. There was one man waiting for an order sitting in the dining area. She was so incredibly rude and dismissive. I received my sandwich and stood around for my tea- two men came in after me with coffee orders with extras and after ten minutes I still didn't have my tea but they had gotten theirs and left. I waited around patiently until I really had to go and when I walked back up and asked Kylah if I could get my tea she gave me a dirty look and said "we'll get to it" with an attitude. All it is is hot water and a tea bag! I tried to call the number on the receipt to talk to a manager but I was unable to leave a message. Stopped here to get a couple coffees and hash browns. While ordering, I couldn't hear what the employee was saying so I had to ask them to repeat themselves a few times. I heard another employee yell into the mic. I initially asked for creamer in my coffee but I checked it before pulling off and the creamer was curdling so I asked for it black with creamers on the side. The bag the hash browns were in had dark gunky stuff and what looked like a piece of an egg white inside. Gross. Just unclean. The whole experience just seemed dirty. Ordered a large caramel macchiato, went to taste after, expecting something good, there was no flavoring in it, I knew there was something wrong, brought to girl that made it, she said I didn't ask for flavoring, I told her that I did, she gave a me a look that she wanted to kill me, like just walk away, like so what just get out before I hurt you, another girl walked up and said do you want me to add flavor to it, I said yes, honestly if they were worth anything they would have offered to replaced it, if they had it would have been out of my view they probably would have spit in it. Service was not up to par. Didn't put butter on the bagel instead they put cream cheese, didn't make my coffee correctly. Not paying attention to what the clients ordered. This is an on-going thing. I don't think the staff is being trained correctly. I've been going to Dunkin' religiously for over 3yrs and I get the same thing 90% of the time. This specific Dunkin never makes the order correctly. It just doesn't make sense to get a XL coffee with 6 cream, 5 French Vanilla, 5 Sugars and it tasting differently every time. If you place a mobile order no one will make sure it's ready and it won't be in the take out tray. I had to wait over 30 minutes. The drive through is also a joke. Went through the drive thru and I've worked at Dunkin for 2 years and I've never had disrespectful people working the drive thru. The lady snapped at us and then handed me a coffee that has coffee ground in it . And when I called to let them know they don't answer the phone at all so . The last couple of weeks the service here has went DOWN. Place an order to the app and have to sit and wait in the line for the only person working to actually make a pot of coffee. This happened 2 days last week. My daughter stopped there this morning to bring me coffee with her. She said she could barely hear the young lady. She had to repeat the order several times. Unfortunately, my long-time favorite coffee place has fallen apart. The employees are slow, which is understandable, I guess, since every place is understaffed. But they don't bother to say a simple, "I'll be right with you," as they walk back and forth past the counter, carefully ignoring customers. Food orders are undercooked. Drink orders are hit-or-miss on their accuracy. I've been there many times over the past month, hoping for a rebound in customer service, and last weekend, no one was masked. Basically every time we come to this dunks there is an issue with our order. The bagels are never toasted when asked so when you ask for extra toasted, they decide to burn your bagel and barely put any cream cheese on it. How does a bagel go from not toasted at all when asked to completely burnt? We also are almost ALWAYS missing an item from our order. I'm really over this dunks. They were pretty busy as the McDonalds next door is closed for renovations and I assume they are picking up some extra traffic. It's Dunks, so I don't necessarily expect the people to be cheery and over the top excited to be at work. But does that mean that they can't, you know, try to at least be polite? So I'm waiting for the Coolatta and 7 minutes go by before anyone notices that I'm still standing there (because they're all busy making fun of the drive thru customers). An actual polite employee asks if I'm being helped, I ask for my Coolatta, she delivers quickly and we leave. Let's be honest, the food and coffee taste just like any other Dunks (down south at least - up north you get actual delicious coffees) and I'll probably be back since they're the only one around. I ordered a dozen donuts - paid for a dozen before she started filling my order. When she completed filling my dozen order she proceeded to tell me that there was an up charge for 3 of my donuts. What? Where does that say that on the board? No where she said. She then proceeded to charge me full price for the 3 instead of the up charge. May I make a suggestion? Fill my order then ring me up. I went there this morning and was treated by the young black kid at the counter about as apathetically as I ever have been. Doesn't greet me, just waits for me to order something. I order a coffee and a chocolate glaze donut. Holds hand out for money. Gives me the wrong change, the wrong donut, asks *three* times what coffee I ordered and what I want it in. Messes that up too.
