This Starbucks gets 5 stars from me! It is the one I prefer to visit out of all I've been to in the triangle area. Employees are super polite!! I'm always greeted by name when my coffee is handed to me. My drinks are always made correctly. Glad to know the employees read the online order ticket! The line moves fastest in the drive thru out of all starbucks I've visited in triangle region. The biggest bonus for this place was yesterday morning. I placed my order before I left my parking lot at home and then had to go back inside the house, only to have someone literally bump me with their vehicle. I was shook up and upset because it was something that could have been prevented Gad the person pulling out of the lot had of paid attention before he started moving. Anyway, when I got to the window at Starbucks the girl told me they were topping off my coffee as it had settled and wanted to be sure I was getting what I paid for. Little did she know that extra care was something I needed at the time. Kindness goes a long way but when it's customer service that is the type of employee to have. Remember, if you have to wait a little longer, or something isn't quite right, it's not because these people are lazy or don't care. Great Starbucks ! They open at 5 AM !!! I stopped by at around 10 AM on a Wed and it was pretty chill inside. A few people on computers. The order taker was friendly and helpful. My skinny vanilla cappucino was delicious. Not too sweet. It provided me with the pick me up that I needed this morning. I would give them a 2 thumbs up. The drive thru looked to be pretty busy. I am highly disappointed in this location because they are actually very good when you are inside for a service. However, for the last 3 to 4 days they have closed prior to their closed time at 9 PM. It is very disheartening because I leave straight from a long shift at work just to go to the Starbucks, which is the only one that stays open late in Cary, and every time I have been met with the lovely audio that says the store is closed and to Please come back during the normal business hours. Today I was there at 8:45 PM and they were closed already the day prior. I was there around 8:48 PM and they were closed. This location isn't near me but was a meeting place selected by someone else. For a Starbucks, it feels a little smaller than other freestanding locations. Not a ton of space to chat while drinking coffee. It's a Starbucks so you know the menu, the quality and the prices. Parking lot is also a little small so if it's busy, you might have to wait or park further away. read more

Starbucks being Starbucks, there's not much to add here except a few notes about the variables. The location is good, but getting in and out can be a pain if you're wanting to make a left back onto 54. More importantly, the wait staff here is extremely friendly. The store manager recognizes me in the drive thru and spares me the daily sell, instead confirming my normal order. The folks inside are quite nice when we walk up on weekends. My only complaint is that there's not much room to sit inside, just 3 tables. read more

This Starbucks is my favorite in the Triangle area and possibly the best I've ever been to- dare I say- in my life. Seriously! I'm a fan of all the baristas here and the consistency of their drinks. Every single time I've gone through their drive thru I have been treated like I'm their only customer. They make sure to repeat my order to make sure it's correct and every time I've gotten my drink it's made exactly the way I want. Each barista always has a smile on their face and even when thee drive thru line is crazy long, it goes by fairly quick! The inside is almost always clean and well kept which I really appreciate. I'm so glad this is the closest Starbucks near me because of how sweet the baristas are and how consistent their service is. I definitely recommend this Starbucks to any other in the Triangle area. What sets this location apart and keeps me coming back is not the delicious (albeit overpriced) coffee, but the drive thru. The convenience of the drive thru alone is what leads me to 4 stars. It's not local, not unique, and has my normal acceptable level of service. But add a speedy drive-thru in a convenient location and I will be a happy (and slightly guilt-ridden) customer for life. read more

This starbucks location is okay--I've had my order messed up pretty bad once (my green tea latte with skim somehow turned into a brewed green tea with lactaid?) and so was my friend's order (iced drink came out hot) which is why this Starbucks isn't getting 5 stars. But ultimately, once I do get my correct drink, it's still delicious! The drive thru line is also pretty quick. Only negative is that you have to go in towards the Lowes and the traffic in the parking lot can get a little confusing. My tip though: make sure you repeat your order to the cashier. Asked if they make sure they put the whip cream and chocolate sprinkles on and they said they do. Starbucks is definitely not the place for coffee lovers. Their beans, especially the decaf espresso, are downright awful. All you taste in a latte is the milk. The best Starbucks in Cary! I LOVE this place and go here almost daily. I use the mobile app to order from home and zip through the drive-through to get my drinks. I work from home so this makes it so convenient. The staff is alway super courteous and fast. I usually get the Espresso Con Panna with a shot of Toasted Coconut, and sometimes the Coconut Milk Macchiato with sugar free syrup. The shots of espresso cannot be contended with here! They are NEVER burnt and are always tasty... wish I could say the same about the Starbucks locations at Crossroads and Kildaire Farm. I've dropped in from time to time to do some work as well, it smells so great in here and the AC is always kicking. This staff is the best, hands down. My change was $0.49 I gave the girl a penny and told her to put the two quarters in the tip tlcup and she gave me back change for $0.49 and gave me back the penny.
