     six donuts in a box

This is the second time we ask for assorted donuts and they gave us the saddest , plainest looking donuts!!

    Burnt bagel

I mean we're paying money for this! That's ridiculous, definitely need to consider new management

    Really, not frozen at all.

It is unbelievable how all three visits to this location were terrible! We tried one last time last week and that will absolutely be the last visit! I even called the corporate customer service line and was told that the owner would reach out to me, but they never did! The unprofessionalism there is ridiculous!! Last weeks visit was so bad that I thought my daughter was going to punch someone! When she walked in, three staff members were huddled up talking and laughing. They all looked at her and continued laughing. Long story short, my husband had to go in and they finally had the employee who was MOPPING THE FLOOR IN THE DINING ROOM, make his coffee! The one with the blue hair was mocking my husband as he was asking why no one would serve our daughter! Literally! Sticking her tongue out and everything! She was acting like a child! When they asked for a manager, they were told that the managers had all left! They need to fire everyone and rehire a whole new staff, except for the guy MOPPING. Next time they should be more picky about who they hire.

The workers should be cleaning tables or something instead of playing on their phones

Manager came off rude, the only employee that didnt ignore me was the curly haires blonde girl. On the bright side my order was right.

I like to use the TooGoodToGo app and came across a special offer for this place which I was able…read moreto pick up at that very moment so since I happen to be out, I swiped and headed over I was greeted by Danielle who was the sweetest cashier and super helpful. She had me show her my app confirming my pick up and I was directed over to a table with bakery boxes. I was told to pick one and that was it. Very easy. It was around $20 worth of donuts for only six dollars. They are yesterday's donuts. I tried many flavors. I also got a few that were made the day off so I probably had over a dozen in total. The passionfruit was my favorite . My daughter and I love this one and would go all the way back there just to get it in particular. It's unlike anything I've ever had and the textures in were very nice. I would describe it as being in a flowery realm. If you like flowery desserts, such as lavender and rose, I would think that you would like this. However, if you do not like those flavors, then I would probably stay away from it. There was a lemon filled one that was very good with the actual donut part. I can't say I was super crazy about the actual lemon filling, but the actual donut part of it was literally melting in my mouth. My husband is a sprinkle donut fan, and this took him right back to his childhood. I wish I could've shown you his face when he tried it. 10/10 from him. The fritter was over a pound. It felt like. It was delicious. I am not really a huge fritter person. Danielle said they were highly recommended there. I was a little skeptical, but I pulled it out of my box and gave it a taste. Wow.. I think I would go back for that one as well. You have to share that one with somebody. It's so big. I really like the chocolate frosted and the vanilla frosted along with my kids too, and the M&M one, that was a great texture. I did not try their coffee, but on my way home I was thinking I probably should have so next time I go I'll give it a shot. I would imagine it would be good..? we will see. I ate way too many than I should have an expected to feel not so great but surprisingly, I felt totally fine. When I eat a doughnut from a chain place like Dunkin, I instantly feel bloated, but that did not happen with this place. I think for the future if I ever need donuts, I would just go over here and even though I have to drive a little bit more it's totally worth it. They also have a rewards program where when you spend $50 you got five dollars to spend there. I would definitely give this place a try, but I went there when they were closing so there wasn't that much left. I really wanted to try the pistachio, but there were none left. I will have to try to go there in the morning one day so I can get one because pistachio is my all-time favorite flavor. Great service, cute little place, the best donuts that I've had (outside of nyc), and I'm looking forward to going back and taking my family.

**INITIAL REVIEW** I…read morewill be honest and say that I only learned about Dixe Cream Donuts, which I will shorthand simply to "Dixie Cream" for the remainder of this review, through the app, Too Good to Go. It is the same app I used to find Luke's Dixie Donuts in Jupiter, FL. Ergo, my firsrt order with them was a Too Good to Go order in which they gave me a mix box of donuts, their choice. Since then, I ordered more Too Good to Go orders for my work, and even got a couple of their donuts for myself. In short, I enjoyed Dixie Cream and their selection for what they have. And though they are not as good as, let's say, Voodoo in Universal Orlando or Luke's Dixie Donuts, they are definitely better than the majority of donut shops out there, especially compared to many national chains (Dunkin' Donuts, Krispy Kreme, etc.). Though an address is provided, Dixie Dream is located on the south end of a strip mall that also has Family Discount Grocery, on the west side of SW Bayshore Blvd. For some reason, I can't seem to find the name of the actual strip mall. For starters, Dixie Cream is not a place where you go to enjoy your donut at the table. It is definitely either a grab & go place or an order & go place. There are no tables inside, and the parking situation is so limited, I don't think many could thoroughly enjoy a sitdown in the place. Besides that, the ambiance is lacking as they weren't going for a palce in which the ambiance is the centerpoint of seeing them. They are, nevertheless, clean and organized and that is what matters for such a place and how they have set things up. Despite that, it is the donuts that are the real winner. They have a common selection of the basics that every donut shop has, but their specialty donuts are where they shine. The ones based on cookies definitely get my attention include the Oreo, Chips Ahoy, and Samoa (Girl Scout Cookie). And if that doesn't hook you in, the fact the donuts "melt in your mouth" is a unique trait that makes them stand out. Now here is the criticism of the "melt in your mouth" angle. I am unsure what fat base they use either lard, butter, or whatever, but there is a slight "taste" of it when the donuts are fresh out of baking. Kind of "unique" to say this but the donuts taste better when cooled for me. Don't get me wrong for Dixie Cream is still good, but just a little detail I noticed pertaining to my experience. Ultimately, I will give this locaiton a four-out-of-five star rating for their speed, their collaboration with Too Good to Go, and the deliciousness of their donuts, more so when cooled for me. I will return more times, and if they are consistent, I will grant them their fifth star for consistency in an updated review.

I would consider these artisan doughnuts so they are priced a little more than a Dunkin doughnut. They had around five choices when I came in. I went with an apple fritter with rosemary. Since then, my fiancé had a birthday (donut) cake special ordered, Dojo started making incredible cookies & we have made countless trips to the popups at Momentum Brewhouse on Sundays. When we were planning a wedding brunch, there was no question that we would want donuts & cookies made by Chris at Dojo Doughnuts. Chris was so communicative and detail oriented. He made 4 different flavors of doughnuts & 3 different flavors of individually wrapped cookies for our brunch. Our guests raved about the sweets & also said they were the best doughnuts they've ever had! Both times we have worked with Dojo Doughnuts to make a vision come to life, we have been beyond impressed in every way possible. Having eaten speciality donuts in Chicago, NYC, Sarasota, Tampa etc. Dojo Doughnuts is by far the best product.

The inside of the store is cute and has all of the donuts on display, as well as some seating. I ordered a mini apple fritter and a raspberry jam filled glazed donut. The apple fritter was served warm and had huge chunks of apple in it! It also had a really nice flavor, though it was a little greasier than I'd like. The raspberry jam filled glazed donut was definitely my favorite! The glaze was perfectly crackly and sweet, and the donut itself was so fluffy and soft. Starting off with the ambience, the place is SUPER cute, decorated with a color theme I call "sherbet whimsy" with a smattering of smiling emojis. Our party of 6 was warmly greeted at the counter and immediately seated together. We started off with their delicious coffee, some hot & some cold...all excellent! The menu is fairly extensive for a breakfast joint, so the server gave us some good recommendations & said everything here is house made. Wow! OK... so we all got different menu items, and despite being warned about the HUGE portions...we could not have fathomed how large they are, but the prices do reflect how much food you're going to get! The breakfast burrito could easily feed four people. Our lone young male in the group - who might have a tapeworm based upon his ability to devour gigantic amounts of food - did his best, but could only consume about 2/3 of it. He said it was amazing, especially when paired with their delicious house made hot sauce. Two of us got two different bennie breakfasts, and raved about the hollandaise, the stretched "biscuits" & the fried chicken. Despite being smallish young ladies, they put a good dent in their meals. One of us got the outstanding corned beef hash, and thankfully generously shared with yours truly!! She could not eat even half of her meal, so I was glad to help out! :) The corned beef hash is not your standard ground-up version from a can. It is house made, with larger bits of potato, corned beef, onions & peppers. They get a perfect scald on it & serve it up with eggs & thick sliced perfectly toasted/buttered toast. My picky husband got the chorizo scramble with a side of fruit & really enjoyed it. I got the fantastic avocado toast with a side of potatoes. Everything was perfect... the thick slices of toasted wheat bread adorned with melted cheese then topped with very fresh & perfectly ripe avocado slices. I didn't prefer their scrambled eggs & should have gotten them fried instead, but it was still perfectly good, especially when dipped in their hot sauce. Thankfully my husband shared some of his fresh fruit, which was ripe & good. I dipped the pineapple into that hot sauce, which was delicious together. The place is very clean, including the bathrooms. The clientele were a menagerie from various demographics...retirees, blue collar workers, bikers, vacationers; everyone was pleasant & seemed to be enjoying their meals. This was one of the better meals we had during our trip, and definitely the best breakfast by far. It's so close to the airport, too. I'm so glad we got up early enough to be able to fit in a stop here before catching our flight home.
