It's beautiful out today unfortunately like I said it's a teeny bit too windy. But everybody inside was just really nice and the girl was wonderful and she gave me my bag. We also got an extra garlic bagel for my hubby for tomorrow morning for breakfast cause that's his favorite. And a lot of places don't have it this late today so I was kind of excited they had one, but that's about it. I went thru today , did not look at the menu, got 2 donuts and the price was 2.02 per donut. The owner of this shop ( I think he owns 3 or 4) should be ashamed of himself to charge 2.02 for a donut. You cannot give me a reason to increase the price to 2.02. I believe the week before I paid about 1.50 for a donut, which is a joke too. I was calling to ask the availability of a cake I had ordered, as I had time constraints as to when I would be able to pick it up. (My great granddaughter was just born and I wanted to meet her on Wednesday morning.) The Customer Service rep listened to my concerns and although waiting on another customer, she told me that she would put me on hold for a few moments and then go to the Bakery Department to check on my cake. She went to the freezer and assured me that the cake was ready. I feel that she went above and beyond for me, and I truly appreciate her efforts on my behalf. Her name is Becky. She is a credit to her department and Shaws Supermarkets. I hope that this will be remembered when it is time for reviews and increases. Furthermore, as the conversation drew to a close, Becky congratulated me again on the baby's birth and wished me a Happy Thanksgiving. How kind!!! However what peaked my interest in writing this review was this: I just pulled up to grab a coffee before my shift and I noticed a man cleaning inside. Not sure if he works here or if he was hired to clean windows and such. Either way, this location does a great job at keeping it clean. I see this man down cleaning to windows two times over, down on his hands and knees getting dust and dirt out of the corners of the windows and this location does an awesome job at maintaining that and it plays a huge part in your traffic. Great job! Edit: I went in after reviewing this location and although I'm adding on to the review, I will not change the star rating because they're overall pretty good. I always get an iced coffee refill because I don't like wasting cups so I bring one from home. One thing they could improve on is getting everyone on the same page as far as refill prices go because I always get one person who tries to ring it out as an XL hot coffee instead of a large iced refills which is only about 2 and change. Either way the promotion for $2 iced coffee from 2-6 was going on so all discounts aside that should've come into play anyways. Other than that, all good! She fixed it.
