I thought ordering the pink pineapple sparkling refresher would make me feel like a pretty princess but instead it just made me shart all the way up my back like a newborn baby while I was driving. The force of the blast lifted me off the car seat for a solid couple seconds. I had to take the pressure washer to my drawls when I got back to the house. I also have my suspicions that it was the direct cause of the 8 new kidney stones that showed up on my most recent CT scan. Not going to lie though the drink was pretty good. Classic Dunkin' in OBX South. Disregard the naysayers and the low ratings - most of those are from ages ago. The Dunkin' shop is easy to get in and out of with plenty of lot parking and a CONVENIENT DRIVE THRU and the inside is clean and neat. NOTHING AT ALL WRONG WITH THIS SHOP. The worker that took my order (half dozen assorted donuts to go) was super friendly and sweet and they had the prettiest display case of donuts all decked out for Valentine's Day! 1/2/2026 I'm a local person, stopped here today with family. Take awhile to get the orders, the kiosk wasn't working. One family member orders first and the rest of the family was served first, he did ask for a refund. My wife ordered a coffee, 2 sugars, no cream, open cup had cream. Went to get replacement, they had to brew coffee again. Didn't wait till it was done, coffee was really strong, because they never finish the brewing. Stopped in April 2021. Was unsure of their Covid procedures and didn't see clear signage on the door, so I went in and immediately stopped inside. No indoor dining. But the manager waved me over and said it was fine to come in since they werent busy, he went on to explain they are asking everyone to use the DD app and pick up in the drive thru. Got my Dunkin order and received everything. I ordered snackin' bacon, I only got 5 pieces and it wasn't a full regular order of bacon. I ordered a small peanut butter macchiato and it didn't taste good. Took one sip and didn't like it. Told them that I didn't like it and they couldn't make me a new drink. Unless I paid. They were great we got 4 coffees. And they were all amazing. We did the mobile order and the only problem was one of the coffees came hot instead of iced. But we easily walked back in there and told them what was wrong and they were very polite about it and it was a short wait both times. read more

I am a local who typically visits 1-2 times a week. You are in close proximity to my office & I really like the app - I feel that the rewards program is wonderful for customers & I enjoy receiving the benefits of the customer rewards. Unfortunately after this mornings service, I will not be returning to your location. Over the last month, I have seen a decline in your customer service. I have seen several new employees, so I was giving you the benefit of the doubt - maybe they just need some time to train. This morning as I was at my window, the woman who assisted me barely acknowledged me & was speaking heavily in her native language. I am not against that, however I do not feel as an employee you should ignore your customer & speak over them in another language. It's just rude. I ordered a large machiatto w/ skim milk & mocha swirl. When I pulled up to the window, I heard another employee talking crap about mocha swirl - really made me feel welcomed! I get my order - my hasbrowns were dumped out in my bag. I go to take a sip of my HOT drink and it is iced cold. I open it up - it is filled only 3/4 of the way. I went back in & demanded a new drink. The manager asked me if the drink was even supposed to be hot.... my drink was in a HOT cup, as the manager of the store - you should know whether an certain drink is hot or not by the cup. The only apology I received was that it was super busy and they cannot check the quality of every order. No respect for me at all. I will not be returning to this location & I will encourage my friends, family & coworkers to do the same. This is definitely NOT one of the best DDs I've been in. I think the biggest problems this particular DD has is the staff doesnt speak English well. It makes it very hard to order something slightly different from the menu, like a number 7.... instead of a biscuit, put it on a bagel. Sounds easy enough...but it took 5 minutes for them to not only try to understand what I was ordering, but how to key my request into the register properly. No bueno! read more

DD is just not the same as when they used to bake fresh onsite. But as an East Coast transplant living on the West Coast it's tough to drive by a DD without stopping for a quick bite. This location is ok. It's quite busy but efficient. They do have a drive through which might be helpful for all of those minivans full of kiddos. read more

Waited in drive through for over 15 minutes for someone to even take my order and waited another 10-15 minutes before I even got my drinks and food. The service here is always slow and very rude associates. There's always one person running drive through and one person inside taking orders it's extremely ridiculous to sit in drive through this long for a couple items. RUDEEEE! Went through the drive thru line with a simple order, ordered everything they didn't even double check if they had everything. They gave us the wrong bagels we asked for and weren't very nice about remaking it. We realized we were missing and drink and the lady came out and wasn't happy with us because apparently we only ordered one. She took our receipt and charged us for another drink. This was one of the worst Dunkin experiences. The line moved terribly slow, the man in front of me tried to pay with his app after waiting 15+ minutes and the scanner was not working. I ordered a cold brew (sign next to the cashier said "try our new cold brew") but they didn't have it, gave me the wrong drink after I ordered something else, then when I did get the correct drink it tasted like the very bottom of the pot. The English muffin was hard as a rock on top and so soggy it fell apart on the bottom. Funny thing, my friend and I had a bet when we got in line if she got out and tried to go through the drive through who would be done faster, she waited outside for me for 10 minutes. read more

Very poor customer service. They forgot the food order and made the wrong coffee. When we advised of the error we were told they had to adjust the receipt. In the end the original receipt was correct. After watching 4-5 customers get their orders we finally got our order. The order was not complex; a bagel and donut and two coffees. I pulled into the Dunkin Donuts drive thru line and ordered a large hot coffee with the usual, the attendant(female) acknowledged my order but then a male voice came on & started chastising me for not saying Id 'like' to order a coffee, and I'd 'like' Splenda & cream.
