I don't dunk my donuts...do you dunk yours? Does anyone? Probably not...Weird name and weirder if true. The grease floats on top of the coffee and looks gross to me. Anyway, I spent some years in Virginia Beach, VA where Dunking Donuts and Krispy Kreme are deep fried food icons. KK was good especially hot, but otherwise tastes the same no matter what flavor. The variety (about 25 types) and freshness of Dunkin' Donuts there made them my favorite. They used to sell about 6-7 types of filled donuts alone...blueberry, lemon, apple, Boston cream, strawberry, cherry, and chocolate, etc. etc. but that was then, and this is now. I come to this Dunkin Donuts every time I'm in town visiting relatives - usually every month or so. When they opened about two years ago, they had a decent variety. But now, the selection of donuts has been reduced because they've added sandwiches and bagels. And I honestly have gotten some donuts that weren't that fresh. Sometimes I've seen them bring a new batch of donuts from the kitchen to the front. And that's often what I order. I don't like that you can't see them making the donuts, like you can at most mom and pop shops and Krispy Kreme. They don't sell turnovers, but there is plenty of employee turnover. I never see the same face in any two consecutive months. What I like though, is that this is a drive through. And the times it was too wet, too hot, too windy, or too cold to step out and walk 30 ft to get inside, it is great to sit in your car and order. The coffee has never been stale here either. So if I sound blah, it's cuz this place ain't bad, the selection and taste, compared to most mom and pop donuts are just blah. So this is rated 3"blah" with one exception. To end on a sweet note, I like the red velvet donut. It's not enough to give it four stars, but props to them for creating this beautiful tasty high caloric treat. This is my go-to DD. They always get my order right and their drinks DON'T taste like they were made with spoiled milk unlike the Durango location. All the sandwiches, donuts, and drinks I've ordered here are all great and spot on! HOWEVER, the wait in the drive-thru is always ridiculously long. That's my only complaint. If you have 4 cars ahead of you, be prepared to be in line for at least 10-15 mins. I just visited Dunkin Donuts on 5485 Simmons st Suite 3 North Las Vegas Nevada and experienced extremely poor customer service. I ordered a stuffed ham croissant and 2 donuts, I was given the 2 donuts immediately after paying and was told to park in the front to wait for the croissant. They didn't take too long to hand it over but the employee that came out was sagging his pants, had a very dirty shirt on and came out rubbing eye boogers off his eyes and taking crust off his face I was disgusted to get my food handed over by such a filthy looking employee. I got home to the surprise that the croissant was completely frozen, they didn't bother to heat it up. I called and asked to speak to the manager, she told me I could go back for another one and I stated I didn't want to I was just calling to let her know of the incident so that she can talk to her crew about doing things right and she hung up on me! This location was great up until 2020. Now every single weekend I come to this location, I place a on the go order through the app for breakfast food and a coffee. Every time I show up, there is a pile of receipts for the on the go app, and they literally don't take the time to read the order slip. They make my coffee and say "here you go". I say "I have food with this order". "Oh really? What did you order?". It's on the order slip that is printed out in front of you. This happens a lot honestly even at other north Vegas locations. It honestly never used to be this way. The app was great and rarely a hiccup. Now, I honestly think I might to to big green if they can actually have more order ready by the time I get there. It's all I ask. And if it was once in a blue moon, mistakes happen, no big deal. But it's literally the majority of visits in the last 6 months that have soured me on this brand. read more

My family patronizes DD on a daily. For the past few Months you have to hope and pray they get your order right. The drinks are rarely ever done right. My visit there yesterday resulted in a watered down cafe mocha drink. I told them it was not right. It was completely dark. I originally requested for cream in my coffee along with mocha. So it was remade BUT this time it was a Snow White color!! ‍‍. Management needs to give proper and accurate training. It seems the staff are guessing how to make the drinks. They also need to be trained on cleanliness and proper way to handle food and drinks. On another visit there, a young guy had his hand IN the cup before preparing my drink!!! Being a east coast native there once was a point in time where DD reigned and Starbucks was something of a hipster movement, I still prefer DD from time to time. Fast forward Dunkin' Donuts is still alive and well, they still honor the holidays with limited edition lattes and coffees - eggnog, pumpkin spice, gingerbread ( which are a little too much spice for me So I opt for my dark roast iced coffee ,cream and sugar for me ) basic maybe... but sometimes we go back to the basics. The service was pretty bad, there's a good chance they're new, but the amount of mistakes shows there a HUGE lack of training. First of all they tried to say my friends drink was a large, clearly it was a medium size, and of course they realized they needed to correct it. And for myself I asked for a STRAWBERRY coolatta, when I saw it I thought it was a very light color, I figured the recipe changed again. I'm afraid that they might've retaliated and spat on my food. There's a level of standard regardless of how much you're getting paid. I went into the store around 11:30 am to pick up a dozen donuts. The customer in line ahead of me was helped and left. The employee had touched boxes, the register, her glasses, her pants, etc. She did not change her gloves before touching the donuts. I left without buying anything. Food is your business! Changing gloves is basic food handling 101! I was willing to be patient with the long wait and very little product selections, but there is no excuse for the unsanitary practices of the employees. The candy cane donut had bits of candy pieces, which were amazing, and a great filling to go with it. There just wasn't enough filling. The ratio was way off. I have been to this location multiple times. The amount of times our drinks have been messed up is absurd. I can excuse it every now and then, but come on. We haven't really had an issue with rude employees. I remember a few times we ordered a drink with something additional that costed almost a dollar. Was given the drink without the thing, and told that they were out. No biggie. In one case, the manager offered to give us something else, like a donut, to make up for the extra cost. He was super kind, and I wish I remembered his name. But, on a different occasion, I even asked if the thing they had ran out of costed extra. "Yes." Didn't offer anything to make up for the 70 cents that paid for nothing. I admittedly should have asked, but I was a bit taken aback, and we had somewhere else to go. The second to last time we were there we finally ended up filing a complaint for the messed up drink, we were fed up with this happening so often. They did offer us a free drink, and it was made correctly, so I will say the customer service is pretty okay. This was the last time we went to that location, and now we go to another one. I'm glad our last experience was positive but I'm sick of always having to either return or suck it up and drink something I don't like. If you wanna give this place a chance, always check your drink before leaving, and don't go when you're in a rush, like before work, because you will probably need it to be remade. Go to Starbucks. Even before COVID 19 this Dunkin' Donuts was the slowest location I have ever been too. The wait to get coffee through the drive through as a mobile order is about 30-35 minutes so if you have the time definitely go. With the inside of the facility being closed you would think the drive through would be faster but that is definitely an understatement. On the way there my girlfriend and I were talking about how DD has the best coffee....a shame that the staff there resulted in us saying we'd never be back shortly after leaving the drive-through. (At least, not to this location). We ordered 4 coffees and a box of donuts. Not that hard. I had to repeat myself several times just to get the order in. Horribly awkward. We pay get the receipt and a while later they start asking me what we ordered. I told her I have the receipt and she said she has it on her computer. Awkward. We handed the receipt back. They gave us a box of donuts and 2 coffees and said "Bye". We had 2 more coming and the cycle started over. The staff member who helped us was very young and had no sense of customer service, very rude and short with us as if it was our fault they were scattered about the order. This place is close by however I go out of my way to go to a different Dunkin'. This place always disappoints, terrible customer service.

They are always out of cinnamon rolls/coffee rolls and the boxes are too flimsy. Great donuts though, fast friendly service.
