The only reason I come here is because their coffee is delicious. As for the rest, the drive-thru is amazingly slow and the lines are always excessively long. There is a coffee shop right across Saxon Blvd. that is much better, but you have to get out of the car as there's no drive-thru. What is wrong with this location? Management? Staff? It was bad before the remodel, now it's even worse! No one has a clue how to do drive thru and then they get upset with you if they get your order wrong or that you've had to wait 15 plus minutes. Staff shouldn't complain to a customer or say this isn't even my job. Get it together, this is a perfect location but the training for staff is apparently nonexistent. Honestly the worst customer service I've ever seen. I had a horrible experience last Sunday at this location. I went in for an ice coffee and the employees We're busy listening to music and dancing. After waiting 30 minutes for an ice coffee I got very upset and asked if somebody was going to take care of this... One of the employees replied with "I am not the one". Not sure why she's working if she's not the one!!!! The manager was standing there and did absolutely nothing. To make matters worse my daughter goes in today to get an ice coffee herself same staff was there same employee with the maroon hair very very rude! This place is a nightmare-both the workers and the food. Months ago basically an employee was screaming and kersing about their own personal problems-and all of us eating in heard it all. The sandwiches are never toasted enough nor is the bacon ever properly cooked. If you come at night the workers are on their smoke breaks and don't want to help you-they just tell you certain donuts are out of stock. Tonight, I was sold OLD plain cake donuts with chocolate icing on top. Its something they just threw together as most of their donuts were sold out. This is our usual store a couple of times a week. The service can be slow - it's pretty crowded behind the counter - but the staff is always friendly. Wish I could remember the name of the young man with the pony tail. He's great. But we miss the evening gal, Sherri. I think she was a supervisor. She was great. Always good on the road, even in Orange City. Tried the new chicken apple sausage breakfast sandwich, but always nonconformist, got it on a toasted everything bagel instead of the English muffin. Wow, this is one of the better DD breakfast sandwiches I've ever had, and had it for lunch Good job Dunkin, keep coming up with new items. I recommend going to any other Dunkin in the area for hot food. I waited at least 20 minutes for a toasted bagel with cream cheese and a side of hash browns. There was a long line of people behind me inside. I can't imagine going through the drive thru. I have been here about 3 times on my way to the hospital to pick up my mom. Once early morning, once mid morning, and then today about 4:30. First 2 times I ordered a large iced coffee with french vanilla, extra extra (extra cream, extra sugar). Just by the color, I could tell that they only gave regular amount of cream and sugar. On top of that, the coffee itself tasted burnt. I used to drink DD every day on my way to work when I was living in IL and they always made it exactly how I like it. This location however, disappoints. I had to get the caramel just to get that extra oomph of creamy sweetness I like. Today, I had called ahead of time to confirm if they had any croissant donuts left. Lady on the phone they said yes. I was already in line at the drive thru when I called. I understand that they could have been bought by customers before me. What I am upset about is the fact that a) I had to wait 5 min just to get my order taken at the drive thru b) lady taking my order had a nasty attitude when I asked about getting them in my half dozen. She was mumbling some nonsense about how they don't go in the half dozen box and that they ran out. (I understand they cost more and was willing to pay more, and know that my bf was able to get a half dozen of the croissant donuts just last week with no complaints) c) she kept interrupting me and not letting me finish my order because she "can't hear me." Because she kept interrupting me! d) the drive thru in general just moved far too slowly to be an efficient drive thru. Even on the busiest of mornings, my old DD location was able to get me through within 5 min (that's with at least 4-5 cars ahead of me). Overall, I am not impressed with this location. They need faster people working in drive thru and more training as far ad customer service. read more

This Dunkin' Donuts is extremely rude! I recently relocated to Florida from Texas a few months ago and was sooooo excited to have a DD near me! But, I truly dread coming to this location. The lines are always extremely slow even if it's only two cars in the line! Every single time I order the same drink and they get an attitude with me every single time I ask them to fix my drink. If I have to pay for my drink I don't understand why it's such a big problem to have my drink the way I want it and when I ask them to fix my drink they are rude with an attitude and over fo the drink and it always taste nasty!!!! Absolutely terrible! Just moved to the area and had to leave our awesome DD in Deland to find that the one closest to us now sucks. It's like a bad joke really. Every single time I've gone here the experience has been awful, from the coffee to the service. Our iced coffee always has too much flavor and it never gets stirred, so the first sip is just straight syrup. Today, I tried to order a large frozen dunkachino, and the manager told me I could only get a small. When she attempted to make a large, it was disgusting. My better half ordered a latte, which was also unbearable to drink. She already scanned my DD Perks coupon off of my phone, when we decided the incompetency was too much. We just left. What is going on at orange city, fl dunkin donuts? Twice now we have been highly disappointed! This time I order a chicken busicut with cheese. I recieved a chicken busicut with no cheese. We sat there for two minutes while three employees discused it tgen after ive touched my busicut and wrappped it up to keep the luke warm temp it was they ask me for it back. I just wanted a piece of cheese to put on it. So they handed me a new one that was no warmer with a cold piece of cheese. Then our coffee colatas tasted funny. Not the normal of what we get at all nevermind i ordered caramel in mine....nope no caramel. Never asked if i wanted whip cream or anything. They had a sour taste. Maybe bad! DUNKIN review for later This is by far the WORST DUNKIN I have been to in a long while. The service is terrible. The coffee prep is awful. They can't get orders right and don't fill your cup all the way. It's also the filthiest. Counters aren't cleaned off. When they drop papers and donuts on the floor it just stays there. No one bothers to pick up what they drop so others step in it and smear it on the floor. Big safety issues for employees caused by employees. I've given this store several tries but it is the same every time. If you are desperate for DUNKIN, then go the extra few miles down to the one near 15a and 17/92 closer to Deland. read more

This place always has good doughnuts and coffee, but if you go in the evening, you will get an added treat. Often after dark, you will see little eyes looking at you from the bushes by the drive thru. There is a family of raccoons that show up there at night. This was a great location until they got new staff. There are a couple ones that are still there that are wonderful, but a lot of the younger new girls are very rude, and seem to mess up orders all of the time. You have to check your hot coffee and hot lattes to make sure they are even hot, usually they are lukewarm. If you get Iced coffees or Iced Lattes they a lot of the times will put the wrong flavor you asked for. My two favorites are Mocha and Butter Pecan, for some reason they would always run out of Butter Pecan and now they have discontinued the butter pecan flavor, big disappointment. Yesterday I ordered a sausage egg cheese croissant and it was burned, will post picture. I'm not lying at all when I say that this Dunkin' Donuts messes up my order every single time. Let me start by saying that I get the same order just about every time. I also go to the Deland Dunkin', just not as often since it's a little farther. That one is for sure 5 stars. Anyways, in my drive-thru visit to this location just now, I order my Sausage Egg and Cheese English Muffin with a Small Frozen Mocha with Whip Cream and one Boston Creme Donut. Simple order, right? Sandwich, coffee, and donut. Typical Dunkin' order. Speaking very clearly, the employee can't hear me so he thinks I said croissant. I repeat English Muffin and then he understands. So I pull forward and from that point on I wait probably about 20 minutes because the line was not moving and there were three cars in front waiting. Not a big deal. I wait, and eventually get to the window. A lady prepares to hand me a bag as she reads my order, and she says croissant. I kindly say that I ordered an English muffin, and she says that they'll get it fixed for me. For the time being she hands me the donut and the frozen mocha, which has no whip cream. I look at the ticket on the cup and it says whip cream. But they didn't put any. Not to mention it looks nothing like it's supposed to look, since I get this drink all the time. I'm not too worried since they tend to always forget the whip cream. I wait for the sandwich and it took a sketchy 10 seconds later for the lady to bring back another bag. She hands it to me and says, have a nice day. Right before I drive off, I realize that she did not read off my total nor did she charge me. I'm not complaining, although that is just the worst of the worst of service for employees to FORGET to the charge the customer. I drive off, not bothering to check if the sandwich was right, since I basically just received a free meal on accident. I reach for the bag for the straw only to find there is none. There was also no napkins. I know for sure as a drive thru employee you must always put both of those in the bag. Anyways, I get home, get a straw from my kitchen, and taste the frozen mocha. It tastes nothing like it's supposed to, which I completely expected since it looks nothing like it's supposed to. I finally reach for the sandwich and sit down to eat it. The real surprise is here. I open it up to see that it's a croissant. This means that when the lady supposedly brought it back to change it for an English muffin, they simply just turned her back around once she was out of sight and gave back the same bag. If that's not horrible service, I don't know what is. All these things in one single trip for a meal. An extra 10 minutes to the Deland Dunkin' is probably much more worth it. Excellent service and excellent staff that listen, are quick, don't get orders wrong, don't forget to charge, and most importantly don't deceive their customers by acting like they fixed an order when they really didn't.
