The staff were efficient and friendly, and everything came out fresh. Congdon's has a really nice variety of donuts, muffins, and other baked goods, and everything we tried was delicious. The blueberry fritter was the star crisp on the outside, soft inside, and packed with blueberry flavor. I would absolutely recommend it. They also offer a sit‑down breakfast with classic options like breakfast sandwiches and French toast, so it's a good spot whether you just want coffee and a box of donuts or a full morning meal. There were still ripe strawberries but they required a bit of hunting for the ripest. A worker informed me that they have regulars, "jammies," that show up at 7 and pick galore. Whether jammies refers to jam makers, whether they are still wearing jammies, or both, I don't know. But his advice, the earlier the better. There are 4 strawberry fields, worth it to check each one for different selections. I was there 6/20 and there were still loads of strawberries to ripen. I think they expect to have strawberries until mid July, but they update daily on their recorded phone line.
