Not even worth complaining this is like the 10th time this has happened and I'm so fed up with it. There's a Dunkin's down the road in topsfield and a Dunkin's close by in Ipswich. I've placed several online walk-in pickup orders that have been accepted and arrive to the door being locked with only drive thru available which you can imagine the line at that point... awful. avoid it if you can. they don't completely cook the breakfast wrap, are often late with orders and I only went there because it is closest. Never again. I don't appreciate cold food that should be hot. Today they closed the app pick up and couldn't be bothered to leave a note on the door. obviously, the first place you look for your order is the trash, where they put the note???!! I was pretty pissed about that, no order, no info and as I leave I notice a note to go in the drive through. It is freaking forever, which is why I pick up. I'm livid- where did customser service go? Cant even put a note on the door and they have sticky stuff for the orders that spit out and are stuck on the bags. I was late, the person taking my name argued with me when I said thanks a lot for the note on the door. she argued there wasn't a note, I KNOW-not the brightest Hothead of the bunch. At my most recent visit, I waited over 25 minutes for a mobile order, only to finally be handed my cold latte that had been sitting on the drive thru counter the whole time (I placed the order for counter pickup inside). I usually love this Dunkin Donuts, but today was angered by the rude young lady at the drive-thru. When she gave me my change (all quarters and one penny), I thought I heard a coin fall on the ground to which I responded, "whoa"...not because of the handful of coins, but because I believed I dropped one. This insolent young girl replied, "it's called change. So to her I replied, " I know what it is called." My opinion is she should "change" her job. I was in the area and decided to stop in for a coffee. I wasn't happy when I left and decided I will never be coming back to this dunks!! First of all I bought a coffee for myself and asked if I could buy an xtra cup... their response was basically No and they couldn't even give me a solid answer as to why.. cool so they refused to sell... I was upset and decided to call corporate and I'm actually disappointed because all they did was apologize and assure me that the general manager would reach out to me, but of course they never did! How unprofessional can you be?! Normally I would get a follow up call but this company doesn't care about their customers and so I will no longer be coming here!!!! I just stopped by to get a tea, and 2 hot chocolates! It was 8:26 tonight Sunday night. No one answered on speaker so we pulled up. We beeped and a girl came to the window and said they were closed. I said it shows right here where the hours were stated that your open until 9, she said we have to close half hour earlier since they are short staff and if they don't , they will have to stay there until 11. I also asked her if the manager knows and she stated yes he does! I feel if the hours state 9, you don't refuse customers just because you want to get out on time! Absolutely wrong!!! Incompetence is a perfect word to describe the employees at this location. Your order is never right - you go in to mention it and are met with "no that's not what you asked for." They will literally tell you that you didn't know what you ordered. If you go through the drive thru they take your order at their little voice box and then again at the window. Two opportunities to get it right and it still will come out wrong. Last encounter, I went in and order three things. I stood there holding my child and waited. And waited. And waited. 15 minutes later I asked about my order and they didn't even place it. Granted I had already paid. They rushed to make it. Two things were put on the counter under my order number and another bag was placed on top of someone else's order number. I continued to wait for the rest of mine. Another 5 minutes later I asked and they told me the other bag was also mine. Well if it was mine...why is it on a receipt for Jessica. I took it anyway and the bagel was burnt. The sandwich was burnt but somehow the cheese was cold. The coffee was Hazelnut - wrong. But I didn't have time to ask for a remake because who has 30 minutes on top of the 30 I already waited for. Not asking for a lot. Just asking for what was paid for and some god damn quality control. I would've rather waited for decent food and drink than waste my time and money on complete slop. This place is a mess. No one knows what their doing. Avoid it or ask for simple things that require no effort - maybe a donut. Maybe. I ordered a plain bagel and medium ice regular. To my dismay the coffee was extremely watered down and the bagel was absolutely awful.

This dunkin is on the way and that the ONLY reason i stop here. Every time i stop here there is some annoyance but oh well. Today they flat out REFUSED to serve me. The lobby was closed for some reason and as i drive a truck for a living and its 12 feet tall i don't fit in the drive through. When this happens and you explain that at other locations they are usually willing to accommodate you. NOT HERE, they flat out told me that they didn't care, its a safety issue and we won't serve you. Screw these guys, i work hard and just wanted a large hot coffee regular. read more

Today I went to this Dunkin' Donuts location. We ordered 3 small coffees and a small chai latte. We were surprised to see there was line so we expected our order to be done fast. But that was far from the truth. When we pulled up and we waited for a man in front of us to get his order, it took 10 minutes. We expected his order to be a thousand thinks in ended up being a medium iced coffee. At this point we knew something was up. The dunks in Rowley has one of the biggest turnovers I've ever seen! They don't seem to understand English and mess up every order!!!! To top it all off you are waiting in a line for 30 minutes before you even place your order!!! So slow! How very frustrating! It's ok. Coffee can taste bitter, more than other DDs, maybe left on the reheat burner too long. Errors in the amounts of condiments. Sometimes handed the totally wrong item at drive-thru. And I find it really condescending and annoying to be called "hon" or "sweetie", especially by someone one-third my age. read more

This store has the WORST management. The manager, I believe her name is Kim from what I was told, is absolutely THE RUDEST person I have come across here. It was taking a little bit for my coffee to be made so I asked where my coffee was. The manager rudely snapped back pointing at the girl making the coffees, "You see all those coffees she has to make? We only have one coffee line now." And then I overhear her telling her employees that if people don't want to wait then "oh well it is what it is." This is the same manager who yells at her employees and throws things at them in front of customers. She's very unprofessional and the assistant isn't any better. This store needs NEW MANAGEMENT ASAP!!!! Or it's going to lose business. I for one will not be coming back here until there's new management. Sat at the speaker for 10 minutes and still never heard anything. Pulled up to the window & was told to get back in line after all the cars. Was already in a rush so didn't have time to drive to another location. Finally ordered & the girl on the speaker was incredibly rude. Did not get her name but she was heavy set. When we were told that they had no blueberry doughnuts OR boston creme & asked what kinds they did have she responded with "not many." Had to reiterate the question & got told to "hold on & give her time to walk to the doughnuts" (very rudely.) Then got up to the window & was told that they didn't have veggie cream cheese for one of the bagels we ordered (don't know why we weren't told that in the first place..) been to this dunks plenty of times & have had some normal experiences but also have had some not so good. But so far this one has taken the cake. Sure they are nice people but was not met with any sort of good customer service. On a side not we were passed all of our food with no gloves. Not sure if that is a requirement here or not but it's slightly off since we are in the middle of a pandemic. read more

I am a Dunkin Donuts veteran and this one is definitely a good example of the company. The staff are friendly, colorful and prompt. They usually have everything in stock, make good sandwiches and best of all, (almost) always get your drive-thru order correct. Parking is readily available and waits are negligible. read more

This location features bad attitudes and long wait times. Today, I just really wanted a hot coffee. I take it black so that there is no risk. Still, today I paid for a coffee and after one sip, it tastes poisonous, non drinkable. How can this happen to coffee? I work hard for the people I serve, and I'm turned off by the level of customer service at this location. Only a select few of the employees seem to have any regard for their customers. Often you will find 5 or 6 or maybe even 7 employees behind the counter, with only 1 helping customers. The rest roam around with no direction and no sense of urgency. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I do the drive thru at least 5-6 times each week, and I have no place else to go to get my coffee - Starbucks in Newburyport or other Dunkin's are too far away. They get my order wrong at least a couple of times a week. And when you ask nicely to correct the problem, they often give you serious attitude (I never am rude to someone who works in a restaurant because I am afraid they will spit in my food). Whether it be making my coffee wrong or giving me the wrong sandwich or donut (and I use the app, too!), the only thing I can count on is bad service and even worse food and beverages. Their coffee tastes old, not like other Dunk's. My hashbrowns are either seriously burned or soggy and undercooked. They gave me a bagel earlier this week that was hard as a rock and I got the wrong cream cheese flavor. The final straw was when they sold me expired milk recently, and I asked nicely for non-expired milk; the older lady who works there gave me a hard time about taking it back. Some of the staff are nice, to be honest, but she consistently is rude and grumps at me when I mention I got the wrong donut or my hashbrowns are missing, or the coffee I received has hazelnut in it but I ordered mocha. Everyone in our neighborhood complains about them, and I have even called corporate about all the problems I consistently encounter. Lack of competition and poor management enables their poor performance. It should be noted that I have not had any problems with the evening staff. read more

I come to this Dunkin Donuts 3 or 4 mornings a week. I am an early morning drive thru customer and the service is fast, efficient and the staff is always up beat and happy. I go to three other different Dunkin Donuts every week but the Rowley , MA Dunkin Donuts is the best! Also they make the best bagel twists. read more
