The store in Sparks is clean, had a full selection of donuts to choose from at 1:00 pm and the young gal who helped me was friendly and also let me know the Long Johns were .40 more when I selected a couple for my dozen. No napkins in bag. Coffee is literally so bad. Person taking orders in drive thru doesn't care if you want extra or none of anything. If you hate good coffee and good customer service; this is where you go. In fact the only reason to go here is if every coffee shop is packed and even then a coffee at home would still beat any coffee they can put together at this mess of an establishment. When I asked why my coffee looked like it had no sugar or cream the girl stared at me dumbfounded by what I had meant and the other girl slapped her hand over my drink and took it away aggressively to fix it. We were there early after a doctor's appointment close by. I noticed the floors have crumbs all over. Pretty messy. They have Christmas tree and decoration which made the place look cute but not really welcoming vibe. The kids / staff were singing with the tunes on the radio but not very friendly towards customers. Just an observation. Food was served cold. I ordered 2 sandwiches (so-so tasting, nothing spectacular) and must needed be warmed longer. I've been in this location hundreds of times throughout the years but today must not be their day. We dropped in to puck up a couple of donuts. There was a couple ahead of us but otherwise the shoppe was completely devoid of customers. We ordered a box of donuts holes and half a dozen regular donuts then went on our merry way. The donuts tasted mediocre at best, a little on the stale side but granted, we went there late afternoon, so the donuts weren't going to be fresh. Our visit would have been average, even uneventful had it not been for the rude young lady behind the counter. I would say her poor demeanor was isolated to just us but she was curt to the customers ahead of us as well. She was outwardly hostile, as if we were keeping her from something more important-- I don't know maybe we interrupted her from discovering the cure cancer or she was just having a bad day but she took it out on us by coping an attitude as soon as we stepped up to the counter and even rolled her eyes when we ordered, as if we were there to waste her time. (Sorry for bringing our business to this places and keeping you employed). Donuts were great, I love the one with the twinkie style white sweet cream filling (not sure what it is actually called). Staff were friendly. I haven't bought a dozen donuts from here in quite some time so even though I thought the price was high, apparently that is the norm these days. This location is basically a ghost town. There are usually only two employees working, which really affects the quality. Pastries are often rock hard, donuts stale, and the coffee is only good maybe 20-30% of the time. Most of the time, they mess it up--too much milk, wrong order, or they ignore customizations completely. It's frustrating because Dunkin' can be a decent competitor to Starbucks on a good day. But just like Starbucks, the quality has seriously slipped. It feels like the company is just squeezing every last bit of profit without caring about consistency or quality anymore. read more

I haven't been inside this establishment, so I can't make any comments on that. My experiences have strictly been drive thru. Today I went at approx 5:30pm, and I tried to order food. However, I couldn't get any because the ovens were being cleaned. What business cleans their ovens and then therefore can't serve food at 5:30pm Aka peak dinner time? They close at 7pm anyways, it couldn't wait another hour and a half to clean? A different time, I went and ordered an iced blueberry donut coffee (which I had done the day before with no problems) and it had come out to me in separate colors. Clearly the drive thru worker saw my disgust and said "oh did you want me to mix it for you?" Like yes, obviously. If I wanted to mix my own coffee, I would make it myself at home. I'm still a firm believer that Dunkin' is a better deal than Starbucks and the coffee is so good!! I love their iced coffee and trying different flavors. This extra boost coffee absolutely gave me an extra caffeine boost - maybe shouldn't have gone for the large... I pre-ordered and the coffee was fresh and ready when I drove up to the window. The service was great, flavor was great. The app is user friendly and allows you to make any changes needed (I prefer mine with less ice). Placed an order online for some donuts for the kids and 4 sandwiches for the adults and when we arrived we found out that they didn't have 2 of the sandwiches. We decided on other sandwiches. They delivered our order and was missing a sandwich and then we found out that they also messed up the order and gave us the wrong item. We were trying to explain the situation to the staff. They accused us of lying. Why we would lie about something like this? Emily was manager on duty. Entire staff was combative. They just could not get our order correct and started being very rude. Staff needed help. We kept asking for a manager and the staff just looked confused and Emily came out like 20 minutes later and just backed up her staff without knowing the details and just listening to their side of the story. Wanted to go out for breakfast, but nothing was open at 6:15 in the morning. By this time, of driving around, decided to just grab a coffee and donut. Asked the cashier if there were any cake donuts with maple and peanuts, and heard "NO"!.. So rude of a drive thru... decided to get maple bars and coffee. $7.10 later, the maple bars weren't bad. The coffee was actually hot, and had the right amount of cream and sugar. As I was watching thru the drive thru, none of them had masks or gloves on, and one had really long hair (maybe needed to be put up)?.. Donuts in the drive thru...yes, please! I'm a little embarrassed to say I've lived near this location for almost 3 years and just recently had my first visit! My kids had been missing midweek donuts on the way to school and we needed some dough pronto! I asked them to make me a random dozen, and they gave me some nice choices that pleased the kids & adults. They're not cheap, but they were tasty and convenient with the drive thru. Some seemed a little dry, but overall, still pretty good. I know they have a massive cult following but as I only just tried a few different donuts, I can;t speak to the rest of their menu. My visit to Dunkin donuts 3 weeks or so ago left me utterly disappointed and frustrated and thought it was a rough morning for everyone but coming back today hopeful for a different experience was my own fault, a few weeks ago i had an abysmal service provided by who was unfortunately one of the establishment's managers as i later found out. From the moment I stepped in, it was evident that this individual lacked even the basic understanding of customer service etiquette as she was cracking improper comments thinking i was out of earshot. she seemed disinterested in taking my order passing off my order to one of her team members, her demeanor was downright rude. It was as if she were doing me a favor by grudgingly acknowledging my presence. (sorry i got thirsty?) Thankfully she had a coworker that picked up her slack and was polite. I asked him for her name and he gave me the name "Liz" not sure if he was training her because she seemed to be an unqualified and inexperienced barista but after the altercation i had with her i was very embarrassed and wanted to leave immediately. Which brings me to today, I came back for a quick snack after shopping and was greeted to a yellow sign from the health department flagging the store for violating some health inspections. i was immediately put on high alert and quickly passed on getting a drink or donut. Unfortunately for me my boyfriend still wanted a snack, The store had dirty table tops and sticky chairs. I'm sure the morning rush stretched the crew thin but walking into a messy store is extremely unprofessional and not exactly the impression you want to make especially with a conditional pass sign plastered on the front door. The crew was very unwelcoming and had attitudes which according to the other horrible reviews seems to be an ongoing issue, i would say the managers need to have a talk with their team to increase morale but with my experience with one of the managers it seems like it'll continue to be this way for quite some time. read more

I could see if this place was busy but we were the only ones in this establishment. Second observation, not many donut options even though this place is a 24 hour operation. We came here to try the brown sugar cold brew. Since we are here we might as well have a donut from their limited donuts available. The donut was dry. No bueno. Out running errands and stopped at Dunkin Donuts. First the app tried to charge me triple and wouldn't let me order more than one donut without multiplying the total by the number of donuts. Then I gave the person $20.50 for what I thought I heard was a total of $5.50. I received $14.99 in change. Then we had to wait ten minutes for our coffees to be made. All of the employees appeared to be under 20. It appeared they were in need of some additional training in multiple areas. I recently had my first Dunkin Donuts experience and wow... I don't understand the hype at all. The donuts were incredibly DENSE! It was like eating a dinner roll. They also weren't very flavorful or sweet. I had the glazed and my boyfriend had the sugar, but they might as well have been plain. My mom had the French cruller and it was bland also. Krispy Kreme is significantly better as their donuts are light and sweet. We also tried their blended iced coffee. They were decent, but not any better than a frappe from McDonald's. The pumpkin spice flavor was weird and the caramel was too sweet. Overall, I wouldn't return or recommend. The worker was friendly enough, but the flavor wasn't there. read more

I was in the neighborhood on Saturday with a few minutes to kill and decided to drop in for a treat. When I got into the line I noticed my normal order (old fashioned cake donut with chocolate frosting) wasn't labeled on the wall. It was still pretty early so I didn't think I would be facing a sold out situation. I saw the donut my wife likes readily available and labeled. When I reached the counter/register to order I asked if my preferred donut was still available or if they had sold out already. She didn't understand my description and kept pointing at the raised donut. Once we finally agreed on the exact donut, I was told it was discontinued. I asked if that meant this location or nation wide and she wasn't sure. I asked why since every time I have come more than a few hours after opening, they are sold out.
