The Cranberry Orange Scone is PERFECTLY made - incredible flavor and not AT ALL dry. The Garden Omelette is beautifully composed and chock-full of the freshest veggies (and cheese), with the side salad as great accompaniment to a wonderful meal. We look forward to their brunch in the winter (just wish y'all could continue it throughout the year!)!!

There's also apple picking, a beer garden with two food cart options (Jamaican/ crêpes), and a section with farm animals like goats and chickens. As you head up there are more food options and the full cidery where you can also buy cider we opted for the $24 cider flight and some individual ciders (the peach fuzz was our favorite) there are also three food trucks (hot dogs, sandwiches( chicken tenders fries), nachos and from the cider areas you can order pizza ($12-16) pretzel, etc. Lots of seating options some people bring their blankets and sit by the grass, by this area there's a live music section some face painting for children, and a petting zoo. Overall definitely worth checking out! It's right across the Shoprite plaza in Warwick NY.

We came here for a refreshing treat on a cool Sunday evening, and it absolutely did not disappoint. Luckily, the weather kept the crowds manageable -- busy, but nowhere near the chaos of a hot summer afternoon. Nestled in the mountains of Warwick, NY, this creamery has such a charming, peaceful vibe. I first discovered it a few years ago after taking my nephew apple picking nearby, so I was excited to finally make my way back. The scenic drive alone is worth it. On this visit, they were serving customers inside only, but during peak summer days they also open the walk-up windows, which seems like a smart system for handling bigger crowds. Inside, the L-shaped counter setup helps keep the line moving efficiently even when there are multiple groups waiting. One thing I truly appreciated as someone with a gluten allergy was how clearly they labeled the gluten-free flavors on the menu. It made ordering stress-free and saved me from having to ask a million questions. Honestly, I wish every ice cream shop did this. Another huge bonus: they allow two flavors in a small size! I ordered the Great White Way and Calf Trax with rainbow sprinkles, and both flavors were absolutely delicious. After grabbing your ice cream, there are picnic tables outside overlooking breathtaking mountain views. It's the kind of place where you could easily sit for hours, relax, and just take in the scenery while enjoying your cone. The staff was friendly, parking was plentiful (always appreciated), and the overall experience was exactly what I hoped for. Bellvale Farms Creamery continues to live up to the hype, and I already can't wait to go back.

I had never been here before, so I went in completely blind, but the second I got out of the car, I understood why people come here. First of all: parking on BOTH sides of the street. Say less. Nothing ruins a cute little ice cream trip faster than circling for parking while your will to live slowly leaves your body. Then there's the smell. The scent wafting through the air should honestly be studied because it had me floating toward the building like a cartoon character following a pie cooling on a windowsill. I'm not saying the aroma dragged me in against my will...but I'm also not *not* saying that. Inside, the shop is set up in an "L" shape, and they have the flavors posted both outside AND inside, which I deeply appreciated because nobody needs the chaos of 14 people trying to read one tiny menu while pretending they're ready to order. They let you sample flavors before committing, which is dangerous for someone like me because suddenly I become an ice cream sommelier. I ended up getting Bellvale Bog and Calf Trax and let me tell you: absolutely worth it. 10/10. No notes. And somehow it gets even better once you walk back outside because there are picnic tables with a view that is genuinely stunning. Like, annoyingly picturesque. The kind of view that makes you stop mid-bite and rethink your life choices. For a completely spontaneous stop, this ended up being one of the highlights of the day. I will absolutely be back, and this time intentionally.

I believe there were…read moreothers close to this one, but we went with Ochs because of the low admission fee ($5 per person) and petting zoo. It was an hour and a half drive from upper Manhattan. We went here on a random Wednesday afternoon so we basically had the orchard to ourselves. The first parking lot you see is for their store, you have to keep driving up for the u-pick orchard. There you check in to pay your admission fee, get your wristband, and get your apple picking bag(s). They give you a map where the ripe apples are highlighted for you. My favorite apples were the honeycrisp and snap dragons. They grow vegetables too but honestly we didn't explore the orchard that much (it was huge) so the only other thing I picked besides apples was a tomato, which I felt like was pretty difficult to find a good one. I handed out the apples to other friends and colleagues and they all liked them! There's something different about picking the apple straight off the tree than the apples you would normally just buy at a grocery store. It's a lot crispier when you pick them yourself! The store has apple cider doughnuts! Now being that I am a Californian where we don't have this apple picking culture, I was wondering what all the hype around apple cider doughnuts was about. NOW I GET IT they're so good! Unfortunately since we went on a weekday the doughnuts weren't fresh (they make them fresh on the weekends) so some of them were stale, but most were still good. It's honestly more of a cake than a doughnut, but so good! The doughnuts are self serve towards the back. The store also had a cat on the prowl haha We ended up not even having time to visit the petting zoo, but overall I think my colleagues had a good time here and I would recommend this orchard for anyone trying to have a no frills apple picking experience. I believe there was like a building restroom closer to the store and port o potties closer to the u-pick orchard.

The apple cider donuts are a must-try! We came on a winter day few days after Christmas and they had free samples of apple cider. I got some tea and honey to bring back home to FL. I also bought some apples and they were so soft inside and juicy. Unlike any other apple I've had. I wish I had a way to bring the Amish butter home since a family member has it in their home I often have it with bread in the morning. The staff were friendly, and everything was well-organized. Heads up It's a bit busy during peak times, but that's to be expected at a popular place. But when we came on a Saturday they were practically empty and lady made a joke not to come on the weekends so I assume normally it's a busy day or they dedicate it to stocking up since when we came I saw about 3 of the staff unboxing stuff. Overall, a really enjoyable experience with a charming atmosphere. I'll definitely be coming back next season!

Parking was pretty straightforward. You might need to walk a little to the main area, where there's a small fee to enter the non-apple-picking area. It's small but cute. There are some things for kids to climb on, some animals to see, and a good amount of places to sit and eat purchased food and beverages or what you brought in. The apple cider donuts are definitely worth getting, and I was decently satisfied with my pulled pork sandwich. Next time, though, I'd probably just bring my own food. There's a small store with items and snacks for sale (and an ATM). There's also a bar for some seasonal drinks. The apple-picking area you pay by the bag size. Cash only. No wagons allowed - I wish this had been posted better, but apparently it's a new policy since apples were getting stolen. How sad! Lots of apple trees and two very large sections to choose from. Near the parking lot is a small patch of pumpkins. We got two decent-sized ones for $15/each. The area was definitely muddy with all the traffic and rain. Wear your galoshes! By 1pm, when we were leaving, there was a huge line of cars to get in. If I come back, I'll definitely come on the earlier side!
