We immediately got into line and the 8 cars were trapped there for 30m while we waited for drinks we paid for already but were so poorly managed they couldn't get their lines to move. I realize this is a new location and has bugs to work out, but WTH. Went to get my order and got to wait five min while the prep person played with her phone, scratched her hair, greeted me (finally) with "What you waiting on?", then proceeded to make someone else's food - without gloves, and her long fingernails that were just scratching her hair - and there were eight more orders on the counter that needed working on. Two other employees on the window and their bagger were too engaged in their giggling to stop and assist me. Finally handed me a dozen donuts, unsealed and unbagged, and I had to tell that same counter person where the bags were after she informed me "We don't have bags that big" and out came the phone again. Been here (unfortunately) several times and their customer service is easily the worst I've ever experienced. Skip this store entirely and go to West 210th; it's worth the five min drive. They have a clue what they're doing there and actually treat you like you're a paying customer, not some distraction from their playtime on the phone. read more

Pulled to window was told I had to drive back around because they couldn't take my order at the window. Told her no one was answering the drive thru box. Asked to speak to manager. Manager wouldn't come to the window so she ended up taking my order at the window. Then they gave me the wrong order. Drove back. Went in to get the order corrected. Manager told her staff they didn't need to make that order because she didn't see me standing there. I said oh but you do because you gave me the wrong order. Poor communication. Poor management. I hoped that the rumors were true and that we were FINALLY getting a Dunkin in my hometown. After confirmation and waiting months and months for it to open, my disappointment with the store could NOT be more profound. You can place your order on the app (just for a simple cup of basic coffee), and there's NO ONE in either of the lines at the drive-up, and there's ALWAYS a wait before you're acknowledged...sometimes as long as a couple of minutes. At least 3 times a week I stop at this location for a berry burst energy drink. I ask for an extra pump of berry syrup. Everyday I'm told no, we don't do that. Seriously? Every other location I go to happily does it for me. Some charge me for it, and that's totally fine and some don't. I said what's the puzzle it's an extra pump of syrup? This was my 1st purchase at this location. I went into store to purchase a dozen donuts. There were no donuts in the front glass cases. The clerk pointed to racks (behind counter, 10ft away). I said I can hardly see them, how was I to choose? She brought over a tray. This was just dumb. A donut store that doesn't display? Anyway, the donuts were on smaller size with limited variety. We were happy they were opening, but found they have only a small variety of donuts and were out entirely twice when we went. We went inside (rather than drive-thru) to make a good choice and the donut case is 2-3 times smaller than other places. And they said they do not make crullers...EVER. Becker's is much further but I guess that's still our place. They're superior donuts anyway. read more

Ordered via the app for pick up which was coffee (one special and two boxes of black). Notified order was ready....when I arrived there were quite a few cars in the line. I waited...told them I had mobile pick up and was told to come around. When I got to the window, my cold brew coffee was nearly all melted down and the two boxes of black coffee were nowhere to be found. After waiting for more coffee to be brewed, spilled all over the boxes and one box was half empty, late now as this took 35 extra minutes. This location has horrible service. When I walked into the store to get the boxes of coffee, I counted 8 workers plus another getting ready. With that many people, there is no reason this should have ever happened. What bothered me the most was that I was lied to. Make a mistake, admit it, and be honest! Worst service ever! I ordered through the drive through on 8/17/24. I ordered the drink and they said to come to the second window. When I got to the window they did not have my order. They proceeded to say that I did not order it and when I said I did the one man said "you didn't because I'm the only one taking orders" instead of recognizing their mix up. I'd give this location on Detroit Rd in Westlake zero stars if I could. I was so excited for them to open and went on their first day to which they messed up every piece of my order (coffee instead of chai, only one avocado toast had avocado on it, etc.) but I said that's ok they are in opening mode. Went back few weeks later and they messed up again and the customer service and experience was so bad. I just went back today to order one drink. The woman at the drive thru was extremely rude. I stayed cool and polite. When I got the drink it was filled up only half way. You got to be kidding me. I waited 15 minutes for that. I learned my lesson. Please take it from me and avoid this location!! Go to any others. Honestly DD lost me all together because of this location. I'd rather pay for overpriced Starbucks. I was super excited about this new location opening up super close to my house. Unfortunately the handful of times that I've gone it's been a really bad experience to be honest. Including today when me and my friend were met with attitude from the worker which ultimately led us to drive away.
