Got a pine of SW repose gray from Home Depot for testing. Color is right on wall and closet. So I went to this shop to get a gallon of aura paint. But the machine didn't match the color right this time. Went back for refund, got yelled at. After showing pic to the owner, told the owner the color turned out blue it's not even close, I can't use it. It's more bluer in person. He told me" we don't go by pic." So he took back the aura and testing on a piece of paper. And said "your house lighting is wrong. My paint has no problem." When I tried to get the piece of paper and go outside to match the chip he wouldn't let me. And yelled at me" you know nothing about paint." he slammed the gallon paint on the counter and yelled again" I'm not taking it back". So unbelievable. Be aware of this place. No customer service at all. Horrible service. Totally waste of money and time. Never go back again. Of course nothing can match perfectly. But it' should be close to gray beige color, not baby blue. Maybe your machine needs to be calibrated? Why I had to be yelled at when your machine is not working right? You are not even trying to help fixing the problem or refund me for your malfunction machine. BE NICE cost nothing.

The manager was mostly in the back and the workers were chatting with each other about things unrelated to paint. I asked where the colors were and was pointed to a corner of the store. I went over to browse for awhile, and then had to wave employees down to ask questions. The associate who "helped" me was unable to answer most of my basic questions about paint, such as the lines available, and differences between their products. I was also informed of a lower price, but actually paid a higher amount after the "discount" that was given. I came here because they had more color choices, but I will probably choose a different location or go to Sherwin Williams down the street for future projects.

Sometimes these types of places that service professionals can be intimidating to a DIYer, but this was not the case here. Everyone I interacted with was welcoming and treated me with respect. Nicolas was very patient with me while I tried to find my perfect colors. He steered me to the right product for the job from primer to paint. He also showed me how to properly hold a brush when cutting in. This made such a huge difference in my current project and I'm never going back. Saves me so much time. I'm forever grateful. The paint itself has been great - colors are vibrant, paint silky and covers nicely. I'm a strong believer in three coats, but honestly it covers really well, you could probably get away with two, if you're careful with your application. It's not cheap, but I think fair for a quality product I can use and not worry about any issues during application and down the line. The smell is very mild and dissipates quickly. I definitely will continue using this store for all my paint needs.

I went to a neighborhood Sherwin Williams and was really disappointed when they told me I couldn't get sample paint (?) - but then really pushed for getting gallon base coat and gallon paint. I knew I wanted to swatch the colors first on the walls and they said a sample isn't needed you can just hold up the paper swatch to the wall?? I then went to Home Depot but again was met with paint selection that didn't really match the color I was seeking. When I came here, I knew what kind of color I wanted and was helped out - right away in discerning the best type of paint for the job. You don't get the level of expertise from other places, and for me I wanted some finite info on the paint before starting my DIY project. The people here know the trends in paint, the undertones and explained how paint breakdowns work. -- You get 10% off your first purchase which is a nice perk, I will be back for future paint needs. I'm really happy with the color and even got some recommendations on a comparable swatch. In the end I purchased 5 gallons of paint, finished my whole house and I'm super pleased with the recommended eggshell mid tier paint. They matched the color from SW with ease and I was happier than going back to SW with their cold shoulder service. The factory PS pump that came with my car no longer fits so I had to use a late model pump, which means none of my hoses fit and they don't exist. Here's where Royal Brass comes in. After surfing the ol inter web and finding absolutely nothing, a friend of mine told me about Royal Brass and how they made a PS hose for him. Long story short I gave Royal Brass all the dimensions and told them which fittings I needed for all three hoses, one of them needed to sustain 1500 psi without bursting "Royal Brass's reply was no problem our horses can al withstand up to 5000 psi!! "Saaaweet " After a 15 minute conversation the employee behind the counter disappeared into the back room, about 20 min later out he came with my made to order professionally crimped power steering hoses!!! $173 for all 3 "trust me that's a deal considering they don't exist on this planet" I'm so happy to have a Business such as this near by.
