So, I'm doing a LS conversion on my Gen 1 Camaro, I ran into a huge problem, in order to run my pulley system with this LS I needed a type 2 power steering pump "am I being to technical?" The factory PS pump that came with my car no longer fits so I had to use a late model pump, which means none of my hoses fit and they don't exist. Here's where Royal Brass comes in. After surfing the ol inter web and finding absolutely nothing, a friend of mine told me about Royal Brass and how they made a PS hose for him. Long story short I gave Royal Brass all the dimensions and told them which fittings I needed for all three hoses, one of them needed to sustain 1500 psi without bursting "Royal Brass's reply was no problem our horses can al withstand up to 5000 psi!! "Saaaweet " After a 15 minute conversation the employee behind the counter disappeared into the back room, about 20 min later out he came with my made to order professionally crimped power steering hoses!!! $173 for all 3 "trust me that's a deal considering they don't exist on this planet" I'm so happy to have a Business such as this near by. This was my first time at Royal Brass and probably my last. I came in for a couple clamps and a hose barb, my total was $27. I handed the cashier my card and told him I have an account. When the cashier handed me my card back and the CC slip to sign he had charged me $34! They marked up my account 20% OVER retail and when I asked about it he said it was because of the tax in the where my account was from... Santa Clara. This was obviously a lie to cover up the fact that I was being charged way over retail. Not cool! I will post pics of the charges shortly read more

We are from out of town "Alpine " our Propane hose took a dump for our motor home I called and a very nice man said come on down. Found Royal Brass after getting lost the GPS wanted to run us through a construction zone SJSD would not let us. Found the store the parking sucked if you are in a motor home with a trailer. We parked at the gas station up the street. Walked in to the store told my story. The guy behind the counter leant me some tools Nice guy I think he rides the HARLEY parked out front... Just a guess. Removed the hose came back different man Glenn fixed me up while I waited. The cost was a little more then expected but if you factor out $79.00 over 30 years not a bad deal. Royal Brass is the staple of fittings and hoses. I have never been disappointed. Over the years I have had several different hoses designed and made here. They have ALL the fittings, hoses and can make anything you want while you wait. I am not a professional, just a guy who likes working of stuff. They have always treated my with respect when I walk in there with a handful of parts and explain what I would like it to be like. Plus on the rare occasion that they do not have something, they have always pointed me in the right direction to another local store that will have it. I borrowed a small tractor from a friend to use for some home-improvement projects. When I started using the tractor, I noticed that one of the attachments had a slow leak at the hydraulic coupler. I wanted to fix the tractor before turning it back into my friend, so I decided I would see what I could do about the hydraulic hose. That is when I found Royal Brass Incorporated. These guys are terrific! They helped me fix the problem with the hydraulic coupler leak on the spot. When I didn't have the right tools, they let me use their o-ring replacement tool. David is the guy who helped me. He gave the best service that I've experienced in years. That guy deserves a raise! read more

Well i just wanted to say i have bought parts from this place before and have never had a bad experience till now. i purchased some parts for this project i am doing. the guy helping me was nice and very helpful. i spent around $50.00 and since this is custom i asked if it would not work and I did not install everything could i return it. He said yes no problem. Well i realized that this would not work so i returned the items the next day. the owner stated he wanted a restocking fee of 10%. I was surprised he wanted restocking fee of 5 dollars. seemed.employees just relayed what the owner said so i asked to speak with him about it. grant it $5 is not going to break my bank ,but at this point it was never stated. the owner came off aggressive and said he wanted the $5 for the employee assisting me. i replied your going to charge me $5 to help assist me to purchase your products.(geez what a joke!!1) He then replied "If you argue with me then I will not refund you at all!!!" WOW!!! I have never seen a owner with such a disregard for customer service. If this company is hurting that much financially to try to intimidate their customers then he should just close shop. i then bit my lip got my return and left. I wont be buying any more parts from here. I feel bad for the employees if they have to work with this kinda of attitude.$$$ Future customers you better ask if the owner is going to charge you to help you!! read more
