My sister and I were there this morning around 10:30 and were kindly helped by each and everyone there, each person who saw us at the counter asked us if we needed help, we had a nice conversation with the one who first helped us and sold us our paint ,then he had gone back to mix it for us and several other employees came out to ask if we needed help,their service was outstanding and the employee who sold us our paint even carried it out to the car for us! It was a very special trip for us today to get that particular can of paint because a few years ago my sister was deathly ill and has had to take the room downstairs till she got better and finally now is able to go back upstairs to her own room to her favorite paint color so as any time would be your kindness would be appreciated but especially this trip it's a special time for her! Holy moly, Kristin Montoya knows her colors! We are beginning a renovation and I was absolutely lost about what color tiles, quartz, backsplash, etc to choose. I came in here and spent an hour with Kristin and walked out with an interior and exterior paint palette that would make even the Property Brothers jealous! Kristin is calm, has an exceptional style sense, and is incredibly helpful. I've been in this store multiple times, it's always clean and always has what I'm looking for. I've been helped by a few people but Eddie is by far my favorite. As a painter I have used many different brand paint and this is probably the most crap product at 40/ gal. So much garbage in the paint that requires straining multiple time and paint is thin and requires 4 coats. read more

Nick M. from Dunn-Edwards has the best eye of any color technician I have ever worked with. As a muralist I require small amounts of a large variety of colors and Nick is always very patient and engaged with me through my complicated orders. I came into this store after not getting what I was looking for in several Home Depot's taking their paint system was down. Glad I decided to try out a new paint shop. As soon as I walked in I got help from Eddy the employee there. He made sure I didn't leave until I had every color sample I was looking for and was very patient and attentive as well. I just had the best customer service experience with Patrick King at Dunn Edwards. I went in to buy one gallon of paint for new garage cabinets I built. He took an interest in my project and took lots of time helping me narrow my color choices. He wanted to see a video of my garage before he gave his opinion, so he could get an idea of the space. We narrowed the colors down to two and sold me the sample colors. When i was leaving, he told me he'd love to see pictures when I got it all done. This all sounds fairly normal, but let's face it, usually sales clerks just want to get you in an out. Great job Patrick!! read more

OK I am partial to this company because my husband has worked here for 24 years! I stand firm with my review! I have used there paint and it covers with one coat and is of the best quality! The service is good, although you may have to patiently wait during their busy seasons. Spring, Summer, and Autumn! Thus the 4 stars. But if you already know what you want you can order it over the phone and pick it up, or they can deliver it to you. I have and will always use DE Paint! read more

I'm a contractor: I love Dunn Edwards paints. They have some of the boldest colors with a rich finish. When I paint an exterior house with Dunn Edwards you can clearly see the difference within an entire block radius. not your every day average blend in type of finish and is noticeable as soon as you drive up the street. I used Dunn-Edwards when I had to decided what color I wanted to paint our office. I wanted to try some different shades, so I went in and picked out several color swatches. I asked for a quart of each one (there were 4) and they were mixed and ready for me within 15 minutes or so. It was definately more pricey than Home Depot, but I felt the clerk was much more helpful, faster and more knowledgable. They put my 4 little cans into a flat cardboard box, so my car would stay clean and gave me mixing sticks - all without me asking. They gave me some advice on how and where to appy the color samples and away I went. It turned out that I didn't like any of the 4 colors and went back for 2 more the next day. Same great service the next day. Sure, you pay a little more, but it is closer, faster and better quality than the big box hardware stores. Well worth it, in my opinion! read more

I went here to get the same color of paint that I saw elsewhere and liked a lot. So, I go armed with the color and number and after a few questions, the guy at the counter put in my order and 15 minutes later, I was the proud owner of 3 gallons of paint. He even carried the paint out to my car for me. One star is taken off for the price. But, you get what you pay for. read more

Pam, a color consultant at Dunn Edwards on Winchester in San Jose, provided me great customer service. Her support helped me and my family come to an agreement on colors to paint our family home. I was able to send her a jpeg picture of the house and she used her computerized paint tool to render various color options. She emailed me copies of the house with various color samples and I was intern able to share the various selections with my siblings in various areas of the United States. This is a great service and it was free. Pam was really helpful. She also suggested a great color for our master bath.
