I have had so many painful interactions in this store and it goes back decades. Today just prompted me to actually write a review and this one leaves a bad taste in my mouth for sure. I'm going to go ahead and leave off the phone call I made regarding the zero balance gift card that also lasted nearly an hour as it doesn't pertain to anything this store has done but it's a nice cherry to add to the story. The only people that I have consistently had a positive experience with are the Customer Service people, just inside the entrance. Against all odds, these folks are out there doing what I would imagine is the hardest job in the store.

After no luck at several stores we were directed to Santa Barbara Fasteners. They are a great find with a wide selection--imperial and metric--which means we are free to safety continue our sail. Located in an industrial area near the funk zone, they have a nice little store front open to the public Monday through Friday with a good assortment of quality tools as well as difficult to find fasteners.
