Mike (the service advisor at the Webster location) is not one of those mechanics. He is honest and transparent about his work, and he will go the extra mile to make sure everything is fixed and ready to go. I had a thumping noise issue that was affecting my car for weeks, and one Firestone location made repairs but not the right ones to remove the noise - and they also refused to look at the car any further. Thankfully Mike at the Webster location made sure he inspected the car in full (which the other location didn't do), and he was able to locate the cause - a rusted-out rear parking brake. Despite a delay in getting parts, once he received them, Mike made sure the work was done right away. He also drove the car to make sure the noise was gone. When I picked it up, I didn't hear the noise either. If you're in a pinch for repairs and you're in or near Webster, I would recommend visiting the Ridge Road location - and I hope Mike is your advisor. In addition, after calling Firestone Corporate, the customer service representative informed me that this Firestone location would not provide a quote for the service in question. Understandable -- sort of- not completely though. Now- this is the puzzling part- the neighboring Firestone Service Center was able to provide a quote of $75.00 for the service. This is in alignment with Kia DEALERSHIP's quote. Takeaway- There is nothing to be explained away-- here. It's a Dodge Challenger and they do not come without their challenges. Chris and Clinton have been pounding away at this to make sure it's right. They replaced parts, charged me, and gave my car back still not starting...did they even check to see if it would start after they moved it outside for pickup? I eventually found a real mechanic who does work on drag racing cars. I watched him diagnose my problem in 45 seconds by attaching a jump pack to the fuse panel. the car started and it turned out to be the wires connecting the battery to the system were bad. cannot stress enough: the grease monkeys at seasonall are useless. are they dumb or do they have no pride in their job? They are perfectly content changing out brake pads for mechanically inept customers......was it that they didn't want to waste their time solving a real mechanical problem?? no passion for cars... very sorry situation.

I don't live in Rochester, but when I rolled into town wth my 15-year-old Subaru, the exhaust system (resonator and exhaust pipe) just fell apart. I could tell it was busted because suddenly my meager 2.6 liter engine sounded like it was revving for a Nascar race. I only had a day in Rochester to burn, so I set an appointment for 8am at the nearest Mavis which seemed to be the safest bet for getting a quick turnaround. When I arrived on the dot at 8am, they informed me they didn't have an exhaust mechanic and redirected me to Cole Muffler (also a Mavis branch) across town. When I got to Cole/Mavis, I was greeted by Tyler (? I think) and he let me know that they would inspect the car and let me know ASAP what needs to be done. After 20 minutes or so he escorted me to the car and pointed to the exact parts that were failing (rusted) and why they should be replaced. He gave me the option of letting the less rusted pipe stay. No upsell. I opted for the full replacement because it was time for this car (16 years old). He told me it would be 1.5-2 hours so I took a long walk. When I got back the car was in tip-top shape and the bill was less than I feared. They charged for parts plus $160 for labor. This included a new resonator and new exhaust pipe. Didn't need a new muffler. Total was about $650 including labor. I really appreciate this branch of Mavis/Cole for attending to the needs of my car in such a professional manner, and on the spot when I needed to have the car for other business in Rochester. This branch brings a positive vote of confidence for Mavis, even if it isn't on their main sign.

It was the only issue as on both may 18th and June 5th I got a code read and that was the only code that came up. I got it "fixed" at Cole muffler June 6th and the car was ready for me June 8th. I leave and immediately when I turn the AC on the car starts shaking. I went to go get it fixed and they quote me 500 dollars and they said that both me and two code readers just didn't notice this issue that they say has been here all along. They say a catalytic converter "technically" wouldn't cause an issue with the radiator fan, turns out although rare it can! Regional manager said a radiator fan wouldn't show up as a code and then once I said hey I googled it he pivots and said oh well it would if only blank happened. I told him hey I can show the code readings I did and he said he didn't want them. I had a lady on the customer service line say it's sort of expected that when u get work done that something might happen? This (in my opinion) made me wonder if that's what they do to get more work. If you're hoping the Mavis Discount Tire relations makes the work safe I would heavily warn you to not risk it. I habe a warranty for the catalytic converter fix that covered bad workmanship and steve told me he didn't know what he wanted me to do. Okay so I got it checked at another place and the issue could not have been here all along, so they were lying! Cole Muffler told me the issue was the radiator fan and in the two days that I left the car there, just to be told by Steve the issue was not his problem the radiator module got affected as well! A radiator fan is not something that you can just drive for months or even weeks and have your car be okay!

I was surprised because I have brought them previously a car and sent them a lot of work over the years. So let me tell you about the LONG HAUL on your vehicle if you bring it here to Vogels. I would know about long term on a vehicle from them because they did a Job for me in 2015 on my 97 Camaro. This place is decent place to bring your vehicle if you need something fix short term but long term not worth it to ME. To others they are worth it but they don't restore cars really just fix them. I brought these guys my 97 Camaro back in 2015. Let me tell you what it WASN'T worth the price they charged me 6500-7k and or it felt like I was getting harassed by the owner about paying them. Normally you pay for a job when it's finished but he was eager to collect some before starting it and during before he finished the Camaro. I had to pay before they finished which felt like I was being scammed but I was in a tight pinch and had to get it done. After finally paying them in full they finished it up and said we will detail it up nice for you but the rushed they detail guy and I had wax all over the Camaro. Even the detail guy complained about being rushed. I even mentioned the green paint I could still see but they didn't fix it or nothing. I was super bummed about this but I was still happy to get my 97 Camaro back on the road and drive it. Mind you this 97 Camaro sat after it got "restored"from Vogels. Nothing wrong with it but all the imperfections they left, all the chipped and cracked paint I found and the green paint from the donor parts they used to fix it that you could still see in areas. The Camaro wasn't very professional done at all and the service I got from them especially from the owner himself was good and all till the demanded payment. Then it felt like a scam and it felt like I was being harassed. Now 10 years later I have to repay someone to fix all those paint chips, all the cracked panels and a lot more. So in my opinion it's not worth it because 10 years later and 6500 bucks wasted to repay another person. About the same or more to make it look brand new even better then show room quality they said just like Vogel's promised me but Vogels couldn't handle it. Edit : So after I posted this because I got a phone call at 11:17 from there Shop manager or whatever he is there. His name was Eric. He called me asked me why I would leave a negative review because they refused to take a quote from me earlier today? Then proceeded to say I called them because I had an insurance quote done and I wanted them to add more on? WTF? How is that possible when my accident just happen at 9:33 am. So how did I have time to get a quote and call you to ask you to change that quote? So now I'm more annoyed because they tried to call me out on something I didn't even say. All I said was "can I get an estimate done today for an insurance quote". He then proceeded to tell me IDK why you're posting your Camaro now. It's been 10 years and we didn't harass you. He said "we have to get some up front or all especially when it's not an insurance quote because we gotta pay outta packet for materials"? Really? You have to pay for materials? Wow that's crazy. What about regular mechanics or other shops? They don't ask up front for any money. However I was fine putting a down payment down back then. It was the owner calling me demanding money from me time and time again multiple times and said he couldn't fix it till I did. That sounds like harassment to me.
