I've always had difficulty trusting mechanics with cars, either because they don't check everything or try to overquote you for things. Mike (the service advisor at the Webster location) is not one of those mechanics. He is honest and transparent about his work, and he will go the extra mile to make sure everything is fixed and ready to go. I had a thumping noise issue that was affecting my car for weeks, and one Firestone location made repairs but not the right ones to remove the noise - and they also refused to look at the car any further. Thankfully Mike at the Webster location made sure he inspected the car in full (which the other location didn't do), and he was able to locate the cause - a rusted-out rear parking brake. Despite a delay in getting parts, once he received them, Mike made sure the work was done right away. He also drove the car to make sure the noise was gone. When I picked it up, I didn't hear the noise either. If you're in a pinch for repairs and you're in or near Webster, I would recommend visiting the Ridge Road location - and I hope Mike is your advisor. Overcharged for replacement of rear brake light bulbs-- changed-- didn't want the oil change- did it anyway- charged for high mileage oil without explaining this. over two-hundred dollars. called Kia dealership after the fact-- quote for bulb change around 80.00 as opposed to approximately $120.00. Upgrade on oil change not disclosed $79.00 I will never use this Firestone nor any other Firestone for service. This is supposed to be a national company. A consumer expects a degree of similitude in pricing. Never again- Firestone has lost all credibility. In addition, after calling Firestone Corporate, the customer service representative informed me that this Firestone location would not provide a quote for the service in question. Understandable -- sort of- not completely though. Now- this is the puzzling part- the neighboring Firestone Service Center was able to provide a quote of $75.00 for the service. This is in alignment with Kia DEALERSHIP's quote. Takeaway- There is nothing to be explained away-- here. Maybe they used a higher quality bulb- A High Mileage Oil No matter- an establishment does not make decisions for another's possessions. It is simply not good business practice. Selah read more

I had a set of four tires put on my '09 Challenger. They destroyed one of my wheels while mounting the tires and after inspection at home, scratched two of the others. Of course the Service Writer says it was like that. I washed the car and wiped the water spots off the wheels three hours before dropping it off. My advice is...TAKE PICS before you hand over your keys. I had a 9 am appointment. They took 6 hours to change 4 tires. (Probably trying to figure out what to do with my wheel.) They're supposed to do a free alignment check so you don't burn off the $1200 in tires you just paid for. Nothing on the repair order at all. I was a Harley Tech and later a BMW motorcycle tech so I know that these things happen, especially with low profile tires. The difference is I took responsibility the two times I did it. The first time we ended up buying the guy a wheel. The second guy was happy with free installation. In either case we didn't lie about it. The worst thing is, because of the pandemic the company who made these wheels is gone. So now I have to buy 4 new wheels. read more

Every other Firestone we have ever dealt with was fantastic. This one, the older man is snotty to women . The younger gentlemen have been very courteous and respectful however. Bought 4 tires from them (which I have done for other cars as well). This time within weeks the one tire was flat again. They said there was a nail in it (from where???) and had to be replaced instead of repaired.. I was never shown the nail (which all other Firestones have always shown us the hole as well as the nail. We have the roadside assistance through them. They said the rims were messed up. Why sell tires first and later say the other tires were low because of the rims? Now three weeks after having that tire fixed another one is flat. I am skeptical about taking it back there. read more

Had a flat and needed service immediately seeing as I was on vacation. Great service and got me back on my way.

I got a flat tire on a Saturday afternoon and had to have a new tire put on, they went above and beyond! They had someone drive to Perinton to get the tire as it was not in stock in Webster, and they were able to put the tire on and have me on my way in a little over 2 hours! It was greatly appreciated and I can't say how thankful I was for their outstanding customer service!!! read more

I went in for just an oil change this afternoon. Service was fast and professional.. I was the only one in the waiting area and decided to change the channel on the TV to watch some news. Seems that the Fox News Channel has been blocked. None of the other news channels were blocked. So I didnt appreciaat them doing that and wont be going back.. Plenty of places to get an oil change. read more
