This was my first visit to Duo, and we decided to sit at the bar, where Alexis, the bartender, took care of us. We arrived around 8 PM on a Sunday night. The space was small, and the music was quite loud, but the food was enjoyable overall. The sushi roll was tasty, and the mofongo was good, though the mashed potatoes were a bit too salty. We sampled a few cocktails, which were decent. They also offer hookah, which is a nice touch for those who enjoy it. Alexis was very kind and attentive, ensuring we always had drinks and even offering us a sample of one of their signature cocktails to try. However, keep in mind that a house fee and gratuity are automatically added to your bill. Overall, it was a decent experience, though a bit overpriced.

A solid choice for late-night food and good vibes. The ambiance is lively and the service is attentive, making it a great spot to relax after hours. The food is definitely a highlight, with a range of tasty Latin-inspired dishes that satisfy those late-night cravings. While the drinks were just okay, they didn't take away from the overall experience. If you're looking for a spot that offers late-night dining with a fun atmosphere, Duo Latin Bistro is worth a visit.

Cute little spot. Decoration is nice. We went in for dinner and our waiter was nice. They have happy hour on certain appetizers, drinks, and desserts. All the appetizers we tried were very good and so was the sushi. Not a bad portion since it was happy hour I assume the portions are smaller than regular priced. A few people on our table got entrees and they were also good and decent portions. Only thing I found strange was we asked for a cup of water and was given bottled water which menu showed $5 and was actually charged $6 which I fine crazy expensive for a bottle of water. We did ask if they just had regular tap water and they said no which having a bar it is very strange that they don't. Also there is a "house fee" charged on top of gratuity which that's the first time ever I see a "house fee" and still have no clue what that is. Also someone at our table order a sampler plate which was $54 and it was definitely not worth it. It's advertised as a sampler for up to 4 people and that barely had enough for 2 people. Worse mixed platter I've seen at a restaurant .

    Very good drink bichota.

Very good the food uffffff delicious and the services I love it. Drinks delicious and the location is nice

Heyyyyyyyy you guyyyyyysssss! This place was a vibe for brunch on Sunday Funday! The sangria was giving!! The food was really good and for the value including unlimited mimosa or sangria plus a fun, lively atmosphere. They play music then a DJ came so if you're not into loud Latin music this is not the place for you. The inside is small but mighty, cute modern decor. Our server Byron was amazing!! Our group will be back!! Let's eat!

Despite barely touching the meal, we were still charged a mandatory gratuity on a $75 dinner for food we could not eat. To make matters worse, the steak was taken off the table before the issue was even resolved. If we're paying for a steak, don't snatch it away. For over $50 for one steak, we should've at least been able to take it home for our dog. We also paid for a "bone-in steak" that came with no bone in it at all. The service made the experience even worse. The waiter repeatedly handled food in an unsanitary way, constantly putting his fingers in plates while bringing food out. At one point, my husband was simply scanning the menu on his phone when the waiter grabbed the phone out of his hand without asking if help was needed and started changing settings himself. Completely overbearing and unprofessional. We overlooked those issues at first, but combined with horrible food and terrible customer service, this experience was unacceptable. The owners never even came to speak with us after the waiter claimed he talked to them. I even had to walk inside myself just to get my own drink refill. Very disappointing experience overall. Definitely would not recommend this restaurant or the service we received.

Drinks were very slow. Food was very slow. All but one food item was cold. All steaks overcooked. Not even close. Salmon overcooked. Not even close No chimichurri for steak. No gravy for chicken and gravy. No green beans. No vegetables. We didn't know any of that ahead of time. When our food arrived, the sauces and sides didn't come out with the food. When they went back to get them, they had no sauces and no vegetables/green beans. The chicken and gravy Father's Day special had no gravy, the steak chimichurri had no chimichurri. No warning from the kitchen and waitress was sent out to tell us. Solution to all of it was to give us a $3 discount on the individual items, the steak and the chicken and gravy. It's hard to explain how exceptionally slow, cold and overcooked the food was. Seemed like one server, one manager and one cook at the restaurant. Wouldn't have written the review if they were even somewhat understanding of how bad things were. The $3 off was incredibly token especially for Father's Day meal where we spent upwards of $500. Just didn't want anyone else having the experience we did.

I was about 25 minutes away, when I took my family here, and they were wondering where we were going, but let me tell you, they were not disappointed by the food, service and the surround area. When we arrived, it seemed like a downtown area that was kind of chill because it was a Tuesday early evening. Barely any traffic around and tons of open parking, especially right in front to the restaurant. From the front I noticed some funny signs, a patio that was wide open for seating, yard games and a nice cozy dive bar vibe. When we went inside, we were immediately greeted at the counter by our server. It was not busy, there was actually only one customer sitting at the bar. The bar has about 6 seats and has TVs to watch and the restaurant if filled with tons of cool Classic Rock pictures, memorabilia and quotes. It was just the vibe we needed to just hang as a family. The server allowed us to pick any table we wanted. We ordered margaritas. They were delicious. We also has the RIBS, okra, mac & cheese, potato salad, some greens, cornbread, brisket, grilled cheese sandwich and fries. EVERYTHING, including the SERVICE was on point; we left well fed, satisfied and happy we found this place to eat tonight. To walk off the food , there is a park right across the street. At the park you will find food trucks for dessert, like ice cream on a hot day. There's also a walking trail and a play ground for the kiddos. There was an area where people were fishing off the doc. I saw an area where people also get married and a facility for our veterans. I included some pictures of what I saw along my way after I left the restaurant for people looking for things to do in the area with a family and/or friends. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend you stop by this restaurant for some good eats, drinks and just a place to relax and have a good time. There's also service is great and the area is filled with things to do afterwards. Thank me later.

Lindsay gets a special shout-out for being kind, caring, and attentive! What a ray of sunshine! She was so excited when she arrived with my dessert (she made a brownie sundae just for me). It was everything you would want in a sweet treat. A perfectly warm brownie and cold vanilla ice cream topped with whipped cream just hits, and they do it right! 2. The. Meats. Were. GREAT. I got the sampler sliders and my boyfriend got the sampler platter. The slider buns were perfect and even toasted a bit which added major bonus points for me. The pulled pork was tender and flavorful. Brisket was peppery and perfect. Ribs were also veryyyy tenderrrrrr. You can tell the food is made with love. All I could do was smile as I ate my lunch, knowing I have an amazing bbq spot so close to me. 3. The corn nuggets were SO GOOD and SO comforting. Crispy, sweet, and perfect. I eyed the menu before going, and these caught my eye immediately. They did not disappoint. I can't wait to have them again! 4. The sauces were FIRE. The sweet and the crimson were perfect to us. 5. Who doesn't like 80s Rock and Roll?! Its one of those places that make you feel at home. The location is perfect, as well. Lakefront is a great place to dily dally while you digest the deliciousness. At this point, two more parties had entered behind us, filling the waiting area. We were sitting at a booth and browsing the menu. Eventually, we saw our waitress. She was great, and we had no issues there; the food was not a hit for everyone at our table. The food service took a bit of time. My mom got a sirloin steak that she said was very tough. In addition, both of our house salads were, no joke, drowning in salad dressing. I personally had no issue with my chicken with Parmesan cheese. It was very tasty along with my sweet potato. Would I specifically come back to this location as my first choice? Probably not.
