Nice and cute products. From the start so much attitude at checkout register like we did something to them?? Customer service not good. We asked for another bag because they were shoving everything into one bag and it was crushing the chips. They rolled their eyes looking down as if we couldn't see. We were nice about it as well and they both looked at each other and acted we did something so bad? And they spoke to each other in another language and just giving us attitude. Anyway, about the store, pls check for expiration dates as they do sell some expired food and snacks. There's a mini pop mart area in the center. Probably won't be back since they were mean and rude for no reason to us. But if they were tired from work they should take a break or not work as a cashier and be rude to people. read more

This place is huge!! Tucked away in the fast corner of Diamond Plaza next to Chubby Cattle, there's plenty of parking. The selection here is amazing. Prices are just Ok. I don't like that i have to sign up to me a member which is free to get a cheaper price. I feel I can get the same prices at 99 Ranch. The only difference is that they have a large selection of snacks from all over the world. It's a great place to walk through. read more

I finally checked out DuoDuo Snacks and was happy to find a lot of new-to-me items. Don't let the name fool you, it's not just snacks and drinks. They also have a lot of beauty items and toys. On that beauty tip, DuoDuo legit had 3 tables filled with nails that can be glued on with intricate designs. They actually looked amazing and fancy and if I were more skilled I would have bought some. And the toys consist of tons & tons of blind boxes - mystery collectors, children and those enjoying just cute thangz (I'm the last type lol) will marvel at the amount they have - it's pretty dope! Now I was all about the eats at DuoDuo and I was satisfied with the selection, they have to have something for everyone. They have unique flavors, but also tons of chocolate, matcha and vanilla. Most are from China but a spattering of other stuff is there, as well - we saw some Korean stuff. I won't spoil it for you, but if you're as curious as a cat, catch the pics...and for the mice out there, Cheese oreos are surprisingly tasty! Highly recommend copping them here. Now I'm not going to be driving out of my way to get to DuoDuo. However when I'm nearby, I'll absolutely pop into the market for some nomz! read more

This is one of the cooler imported snacks spots in the area. It's located right next to Chubby Cattle in the diamond plaza. Per usual, the parking here can get crazy. The selection is pretty vase and it's a big store. You can browse all kinds of imported snacks with exotic flavors. They carry multiple imports of Oreos, Lays, Panda Cookies, Doritos and Kit Kats to name a few! The pricing varies and if you're a member you get discount on items. They also carry collectibles, plushes, stuff animals and puzzles. They're a few cashiers so pending the line it can take a bit of time to check out. I've been to Duo Duo so many times -- especially while waiting the chubby cattle or boiling point line LOLL I love Duo Duo because of the wide variety of Asian snacks they have here ! The pricing here is so much cheaper than buying certain snacks at a popular Asian market. They even have cute blind boxes/ toys and even beauty supplies. The only con I can think of is the horrible parking situation -- but that's to be expected especially in this busy plaza. I only come to Duo Duo when I am eating at a restaurant in this plaza. read more

There's a great selection of snacks, drinks, noodles, condiments, frozen food, toys/blind boxes, etc. I came here because I wanted to get the 20% off discount on a $100 purchase. It took me a little over an hour to get random things I may or may not have needed but it was a fun trip. You don't have to be a member to come in to shop, but if you want the 20% off discount on $100 purchase, then you have to become a member. I learned that today when I was at the cashier. Membership is free and all you have to do is give them your phone number, but I guess the purpose is to give some slight discounts to members, where they won't need to push yourself to buy over $100 worth each time just to get 20% off. (in my opinion, the "membership" discounts aren't as good as getting 20% off, so essentially, you have to still spend $100 each time to get maximum savings. It's their strategy to get you to spend more). I'm not sure I'd come back anytime soon, but needless to say, I felt compelled to sign up on the spot just to get the discount. In addition, when I tried to pay with my credit card, they said it would be a 3% fee, but they accepted cash and Zelle. I didn't have cash so I had no choice but to pay with Zelle. It was also nerve-racking as the checkout process got delayed. I got anxious watching the line grow behind me while I was trying to log into my bank app while loading my 30 items into the cart (I'm not sure if there would have been a bag fee, but I came to get this discount and didn't want to chance it) It's a very interesting place and worth a visit, but I definitely learned a lot at checkout. I recommend going with a friend to split the cost, or making a plan of exactly what you actually need. If you have kids, that will make spending $100 easy, as there were many cute toys and plush toys. I struggled to make it to $100 by myself but I can confidently say I am well stocked up for the next few hot pot nights! read more

Am I a stinker to give 3 stars coz of expired products? I know that it is hard to keep stock of imported goods as it takes a while to get here but there were just too many items that were expired. Sorry guys but I am not knowledgeable of shelf life after date of expiration. Our cart was full and then ended up leaving with just a few items. However, good location and plenty of parking if you don't come during peak dining hours (lunch or dinner). I also liked that they had a wide selection from snacks to drinks to collectible items. A major plus that they sell Popmart items. Still have a lot to see and buy so check it out for yourself! Update: thanks for the clarification from the owner. A co-worker showed me a social media posting for this place and it intrigued me with just the view of all the different flavored potato chips they offered. This place looked like a crazy, fun, busy place to find & discover almost every type of Asian snack offered for public consumption!! On a recent Saturday afternoon, the wife and I and our two college aged sons made the 60+ mile journey to the SGV area (San Gabriel Valley) from our home. The entrance to the shopping enter is kinda hard to find if one is not familiar with the area like us. What we thought was the onramp to the freeway was in fact the entrance to the strip mall where DuoDuo is located. The entrance is just south of the Shell gas station. First observation of the parking lot was it was going to be a sh**show trying to outrace all the other drivers hunting/stalking those coveted parking spaces. Luckily, I spotted the signage for their underground parking area. So much easier to find parking below ground, than being frustrated and wasting time looking for a surface parking space. The underground parking is accessible by both stairs and an elevator. DuoDuo is located at the East end of the strip mall, next to Chubby Cattle BBQ. We walked into a mass of families with shopping baskets on wheels and child sized shopping carts zooming around this store like sharks in a feeding frenzy. More than once, I was rammed by small children just running amok with their scaled down carts. My family began separating to the aisles with the favorite types of snacks. Me, I spent a lot of time perusing all the different flavored potato chips offered by Lays and geared towards the Asian palate flavors spectrum. My wife found a lot of her favorite snacks that were Matcha flavored as well as different flavored Oreo cookies not typically offered in the United States and our sons found some jellies that bought back fondmemories of when they were growing up in Las Vegas and my sister would bring flavored jelly candies for them to try. The checkout area could be greatly improved. While there are three registers, there is markings on the floor indicating one line that I'm surmising is suppose to feed the three registers. Nope, it becomes a free-for all and line cutting seems to be the norm. But eventually, one will reach a register and the check out process is fairly quick. We left after spending $55.36 for 19 items. We all had a lot of fun looking at and seeing all the different snacks that we don't see in our non-asian stores. We have been enjoying all the different flavored chips and snacks we purchased and will be back to try other snacks as well as stock up on our new favorite ones. read more

You can find every flavor or Oreos, chips, and gum. You can also find trendy snacks from social media as well. They also have a lot of puzzle toys and book nooks you can build. Whenever I go, I think reaching the $100 quota to get a discount discourages me. Sometimes I walk in to check it out, but leave empty handed. It's still a vibrant store with a lot of options. Located towards one end of Diamond Plaza, Duoduo is an imported snacks haven. The space is fairly large, but appears smaller in sq. footage than a supermarket. There are rows and rows of snacks, both savory and sweet that aren't found anywhere else. At least I haven't seen them. They range from baked goods to mostly small bags of salty snacks with very unique flavors. The center has a skin care beauty section in a circular display. Towards the back is the frozen section. They also sell cutesy items ranging from keychains, small purses or plushy stuffed animals. Most packaging are written in Chinese, but the small tags has an English translations. Currently there's a regular price, a member price or a 20% discount of your purchase goes over $100. To be a member, simply give the cashier your phone #, and you might score some a few good deals. The parking lot gets busy as it's a bustling plaza, especially on weekends. I saw a lot of curious customers roaming the aisles and packing their baskets. Duoduo is a great place for the open-minded experimental snacker to check out. read more

this is a great place to look around while you wait for ur reservation at chubby cattle. good place to build an appetite and come back after to see if u actually wanted to buy it service: the customer service is good; i asked if they had anymore banana milk in their inventory and instead of them saying no without checking the employee looked in the back for me and double checked with his manager which i really appreciated! selection: they have a lot of options for those viral ice creams that are shaped like the fruit of its flavor -mango, strawberry, peach they also had these persimmon mochi ice cream balls which were so cute, but didn't taste good i also bought a hair pin which is super cute and useful value: the prices are okay but it depends on what your looking for if u plan on spending $100 it's pretty good bc you can get $20 off on the membership deal but again it just depends on what you're buying, i'd say their prices are not low but not super high, some things however are ridiculously pricey such as the coconut macadamia nut bags - $25 that's and overpriced hello kitty water as well but to be fair you're paying for hello kitty i'd rather walk around and look and buy maybe 1-2 unique things than come here regularly to buy groceries read more

We sauntered over to this store after a big dimsum lunch nearby. I was shocked by how huge their selection was - there were chips in all these different flavors, every dessert you could think of and the occasional kitchen appliance. I was glad my stomach was full when I got there. Otherwise, I would've blown so much money. Admittedly, the pricing is not cheap. I'm sure they offer deals every now and then. However it seems that for most, the variety they offer justifies the hefty price tag. The owner was there and greeted us promptly. I stumbled on this place after looking at google maps for snacks to bring home. Excellent selection of Lays chip flavors, mostly from China, but a few from Thailand. They carry more selection of flavors than Ranch 99 and are cheaper. Their KitKat packages are also slightly cheaper, but the flavors are the same as Ranch 99, like apple pie, strawberry, and milk tea. You won't find the localized flavors found in Japan like Tokyo banana or Okinawa Taro. The ice cream selection had some interesting novelties, such as a steak shape, French fries shape, and chicken sandwich shape. I regret not buying more! read more
