I came in randomly at first while waiting for my turn at the chubby cattle BBQ. I'm glad I made that decision. I was surprised by the large selection of Chinese snacks, instant noodles, drinks, and even ice cream. Some of the stuff I can hardly get from the local Asian grocery stores, like the yogurt soda from Xinjiang! There's parking outside and an understandable parking lot. Weekends could be challenging, but not bad enough to park off-site for the three times I've been there. There's an additional discount once the total purchase is over $100. It's not a bad deal. The staff is friendly. The check-out speed is a little bit slow, but I see the improvement. I wish they could open more locations! read more

Whoa i love them, especially they have pop mart in the middle of the stores. Went for some snacks blind boxes. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The store is huge... they have almost everything- I can't compare what they have in Asia (Supermarkets) but seems what I saw in the store coming from Asia. The store is clean and it was crowded when I was there in the weekend. Parking are challenging but no big deals. I am just glad I can taste the difference kind of snacks and drinks that I don't usually find it here. read more

It was pretty fun to walk through and look around. There are some good deals, but in general, the prices are actually worse than what you can find on online sources like Weee (for snacks) or even brick and mortar shops like Daiso (for random knick knacks). It's very, very crowded inside. Theft must be a semi-frequent occurrence, seeing as there are cameras everywhere. This isn't a big deal (and understandable), but the odd thing is that the store has huge TVs playing footage of shoplifters. I guess this is a form of deterrence, but it also feels like manufactured spectacle. Also, I want to note that I had a very poor experience at checkout. They have a clearance section in the back, and I picked up some soda that was pretty unambiguously marked. At checkout, though, they told me that the price was different because of a system error, AFTER having me run back to take a picture of the price to show them and then taking a picture of the picture I had taken. This made no sense-- Their initial theory was that the $3.29 price was actually the price of INDIVIDUAL cans, but it wouldn't even add up to the price displayed on the register. And the picture clearly shows that $17.77 is for the case of 24 cans. When I pointed this out, the response was basically a shrug. So no, I'm not paying $17.77 for 6 cans of soda...that are apparently on clearance. Just honor the posted prices, or alternatively, spend the time you take setting up shoplifting cams on setting up your computer system. Just be careful of the prices, and keep a close eye when checking out. read more

Most products are also listed in English so you can choose to your liking. Staff was interesting, not overly friendly, and when I asked a question, they didn't speak English, but the clerk when we checked out was really nice and sweet. Shopping in Rowland Heights, California... My friend, CeCe (from Northern California), sent me an Instagram reel of Duoduo Snacks. She knows that I like cute stuff... that's mostly what I saw in the reel... LOL! Shared free parking made this quick visit much easier. I grabbed a shopping cart and briskly walked through the aisles of beverages, cookies, candies, crackers, etc. I aimed for the keychains, plushies, and hair accessories. Heading over to the cashier, she informed me that membership was free and the immediate benefit is 20 percent off a purchase of $100 or more. I gathered a few more items and added them to my haul. Duo Duo Snacks caught our eyes as we were seeking for The Alley (boba shop) at the Diamond Plaza in Rowland Heights. Duo Duo is way in the back of the plaza. You can't miss it. Wow, it's definitely a store for the snacks, toys, and household goods connoisseurs! My eldest daughter and I perused around the store aisle by aisle just to see what variety of snacks and other knick knacks they have. The variety was astonishing. Kid you not, I think there were at least 20+ flavors of Lay's potato chips. Funny, I did not see the original flavors like classic, sour cream & onion, BBQ or I may have missed them LOL. Just come prepared to find some unique flavors. They don't just sell snacks... they also sell toys and misc stuff. We found the organization of the goods on the shelf to be slightly lacking along the walls. They weren't the best organized and presented. We ended up buying 3 bags of Lay's chips (oyster, crab, and scallop flavors) and original flavor seaweed rolls. Prices were okay. Although there were a lot of people, our wait time in line was not very long. Staff was friendly. It's a fun spot to check out if you love Asian snacks and toys. We'll have to come back here to peruse more next time. Please note the date on some of the snacks may be production dates. Don't assume the date is the expiration date. There may be a note in Chinese writing that indicates how many months after the production date the product is best by. Unfortunately, it can be confusing if one doesn't know Chinese writing. Don't really know why this place has such a low rating, but I had a great time wandering around and looking at all the unique imported snacks and goods here. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in Diamond Plaza and need to kills some time (cough cough waiting for Chubby Cattle cough cough). Sometimes I'm a bit skeptical when there are snack shops touting that they have uniquely imported snacks as many times it's either grossly overpriced or things you can get normally at any Asian market, but not here! Very fairly priced goods and LOTS AND LOTS of things that I have never seen before in other snack shops, Asian grocery stores, Asian American Expo, and even online/on social media for that matter. Aside from snacks they have lots of Pop Mart blind box goods here, so if you're into that life style, no need to travel out of your way for them, home goods, accessories, and plushies too. As for snacks they have a good selection of savory snacks ranging from unique chips, jerky, pickled and dried goods, instant noodles, and sweet snacks ranging from cakes, ice cream, candies, and so much more. Got some really cheap Poke'mon Instant Noodle snacks which were quite yummy (60 cents a decent bag), soda candies that I have never seen before, and peach and vanilla Coke. Located next to Chubby Cattle in Rowland Heights, this bright new Chinese snack and random supplies shop has a lot of exotic snacks for fairly affordable pricing. However a lot of the writing was in Chinese, so I have a hard time buying things if I had no clue what it was. My boyfriend and I came over after having dinner in this plaza, and it was close to their closing time so we did not have as much time to browse the store fully. While we were there we did come across a glorioussssss selection of Lays of all sorts of exotic flavors. We ended up getting the Fried Crab and Roasted Garlic Oyster flavors. Pretty interesting. We also got the individual portion of the White Rabbit ice cream. I've seen these at the Asian grocery markets but didn't want to commit to a whole box. It was nice to have the individual portion to try. It was not too sweet and had that thick consistency. Interesting to try. I think a fun spot to get snacks but making they can get some labels to help me understand what I'm buying. I'm sure I'll be back whenever I'm in this plaza. read more

Definitely my type of store! Literally an entire market of my all my favorite sections in other asian markets. They even had tiny little shopping carts for kids to push around! My kids had so much fun pushing my snacks for me. I loved the variety of asian snacks, ice creams, ramens, and drinks they had. They also had some beauty supplies and toys, but I didn't really look at those. Parking was difficult to find, since they share a very large lot with tons of other businesses. Find those snacks to be at least 20% cheaper than the supermarkets. Cashier are seemingly new to the process when we checked out. They are also currently on cash only. Hopefully they will have an option for credit card purchase. DuoDuo is one of my go to snack stores when I am in the area in Rowland Heights!! There are SO many options for an amazing price! They have pretty much every Chinese snack you and think of, blind boxes, home goods, and cute trinkets! There is a bit of a language barrier with the workers but it's not a big issue since I normally come here to browse and buy snacks and typically don't have any issue finding things.
