Many different coffees (like the classics to signature drinks) and tea options to choose from, and my daughter was able to get her foo foo drink. They also have alternative milks for Coffees and Tea. For me I just drink mine black, and Durango Joe's has a pretty good tasting one. If your a pastry person they have a good assortment of the typical American standards. Danish, Muffins, Cookies, Scones and Croissants. This was our first time at Durango Joe's. Coffee is ok, food was mediocre and it took 25 minutes to get 1 coffee and 2 breakfast sandwiches.

I visit the various Joe's locations around town. I like this one just fine. There is comfy seating, as well as some larger tables for spreading out with work. The location is convenient to downtown restaurants and shopping, as well as northbound traffic on Camino. I have some nitpicks about Joe's but the coffee is pretty good - on the darker, strongly-brewed end. I think their roasts are particularly suited to milky drinks like lattes and cappuccinos, but I'm not really a fan of straight espresso, which seems a little burnt to me. They usually have multiple options for drip coffee. Today, we are having a light roast from El Salvador and enjoying it. I've found this place to be on the expensive end of local coffee, which brings me to my other gripe: the frequent buyer program, Mug Club is needlessly complex. I think it more than pays for itself if you take advantage of it, but it is more complicated than it needs to be. Joe's also does some pretty good cold drinks, for those hot days, and has pastries and sandwiches to just grab and go for a quick bite. I like the ham and cheese croissant. Breakfast options are limited but coffee is endless!! I got their oat milk latte and maybe it was because I was sipping on instant coffee for the past two days or it was just THAT good, I loved my drink. Well balance of creaminess and bold espresso flavor. They have some fun latte flavor options too. Their breakfast includes baked goods, breakfast sandwiches and burritos. They have a vegetarian and meat burrito option. They go fast so get there before 11am if you want a warm sandwich/burrito. Their meat burrito hit the spot but was greasy. Absolutely delicious! The breakfast burrito was incredible. Perfect mix of eggs, potatoes, cheese, bacon and sausage! All wrapped up together with the perfect addition of green chilis! We also got a breakfast sandwich that had a nice thick cut of ham! And the blueberry danish was fresh, flaky and fruity! Staff was super friendly and we were in and out quickly and efficiently. Great place to catch up with a friend over a relaxing cup of coffee and a pastry. As a new mom, I wish they had a changing station in at least one of the bathrooms. I had to change my lil guy on the floor. (Good thing it's summer and the bathroom was very clean plus I had a little mat with me). I mentioned this to the Asst Mgr, Crystal, and she said she doesn't think any of their locations have a changing station so she suggested I write a review bc Joe, the founder, reads them all. Would be nice if they had more soft seating to relax, too. There's a handful of softer chairs which were being used by students working on their laptops. I love their gift card deal (free drink with a new card purchase or $30 top off). Now you can register your card online and use it without having it with you (which is why I had to get a new one this time bc I left my old one at home). Overall, I like the different Joe's locations and plan to get out more to use my new Joe's card. My husband and I got coffee here one morning and they have a wide selection of drinks! I got a mudslide and my husband a 911; mine was a mocha with Carmel and hazel nut flavorings. The drinks aren't super sweet so depending on your pallet that can be good or bad. I tend to like sweeter drinks but I threw a sugar packet in and it worked. I stopped in for some local coffee and was not disappointed. I'm used to going to Starbucks or our local coffee shops and I usually like more flavor and sweetness because I worry about the bitterness coffee can have. I got the Mudslide (not an alcoholic drink) and it was fantastic! It had chocolate, caramel and hazelnut and was the perfect blend. Then I went back later to grab some more coffee beans, they have a pretty good selection so I got the Anniversary Blend and the espresso. But also grabbed a sandwich because they looked so good, turkey, bacon, pepper jack and Chipotle mayo, for the trip home. It was so good, I wish I had bought a second one. The staff was very friendly, they have multiple locations in Durango. I would definitely recommend that you try them. I can't wait to go back. read more

I only rate this place 4 stars because DJ's just recently did away with their reloadable cards in favor of using your phone number for the program. I already get enough advertisers overwhelming me and don't need someone else sending me texts. I made the mistake of giving out my phone number once and won't make that mistake again. What once was a great way to pay for you coffee has been abandoned in an effort to harvest your phone number. If you're going to use the program make sure you use a fake number. On a quick visit to Durango, I found I was in dire need of a caffeinated beverage first thing in the morning. Despite only one review I rolled the dice and came up a winner! The decor and employees were welcoming. Though I ordered my cup o' to go, I imagine this would be a good place to sit for a while. Free Wi-Fi doesn't hurt, that's for sure. My Mountain Mudslide 16 oz coffee was great. A moderately sweet mocha with caramel and hazelnut paired well with my choice of Almond Milk as a dairy alternative. This was one of the best coffees I have ever tasted. I wish I had more to add, but I've only sampled one of their menu items and it was to-go. Still, I think this place is a keeper. read more

Great coffee (the americano was perfect) and lots of space to spread out and hang out or work. Service was very slow- I think something weird was going on with their staffing because when we arrived only one person was there and it took twenty minutes to get our drinks. But we stayed for ninety minutes and it seemed like once a second person showed up they flew to get caught up and the problem was solved for the people coming after us. Honestly I don't understand all the hype over Durango Joes. It's not terrible coffee but it's certainly nothing special. Whenever I just get their brewed coffee it always taste a little burnt to me. Also the last few lattes I've ordered have been given to me luke-warm, when I order a latte I like it to be handed over hot. This place used to be my go to. I got breakfast here literally every day. I used to LOVE the green chili sausage bagel. Unfortunately, they ended up replacing it with a English muffin sandwich that is absolutely unbearable and impossible to eat. It's absolutely dry, no flavor and the ham and cheese combo is a no. I then found a liking to those Ham cheese croissants. They were perfect. These ended up changing slightly during the Pandemic (less and different ham) but I still really enjoyed them. Now they changed them again and they are GROSS! Cheddar and a tiny bit of ham on the inside and topped with parmesan!? it's so gross! These cheeses do not go together. And then to charge almost $5 for this? Sorry Durango Joes but I deleted the app and will not be returning to ANY location. Idk if it was a cost thing or what, but this place is going downhill fast. This is a great little coffee shop that's easy to get to with good parking. The staff is always super friendly, and the coffee is good. It can get a little noisy when busy, but that's pretty much every coffee shop. I always get a pastry when I go, and they are always pretty good. Stop in for sure. read more

Love all Durango Joe's but this one is close to work making it easy to pop in for a latte. Great remodel on the interior making it a nice spot to meet friends or check email on the free wifi connection. Good sandwiches and salads for an on the go lunch too!
