The roof top bar was great for drinks but the food was HORRIBLE. . so dry and tasteless.

The food was good. We had sandwiches and appetizers & drinks. The service was spotty bc they were really crowded. The noise level is very loud. You have to shout to talk to people in your party, when it's busy 6pm on weekend. They need sound baffles to quiet this big room down. Bar is adjacent to dining area. read more

I was in Durbins on Friday night. The guys at the table next to mine got there at 9:00. They were told at 10:30 that their table had been reserved and they had to give it up. After arguing with the manager and security, they left. There is nothing on the their website about reserving tables. I would have stayed and made them call the police. read more

I went here with my family for a nice dinner and it was not very good. Our waitress was not very attentive and forgot one of our drinks. Then when I got my meal, the chicken Caesar wrap, it was very dry and not good at all. It had 70% lettuce and 20% tortilla. The fries were also under seasoned and hard. If I could give zero stars, I would. The manager, servers, and hostess all seem completely unprepared and lacking even the basics of how to do their jobs or run the restaurant. I was really excited about the rooftop and have given this place multiple chances since it opened, hoping they'd finally get things together, but my most recent visit was the last straw. This place could be much busier and genuinely successful, but the staff just aren't capable, and it shows in every part of the experience. I honestly feel bad for the owners, because it's obvious a lot of money went into building this place. We were told by the hostess that the only seating available for two people was at the high-tops along the wall which are right between the front door, the bathrooms, and the kitchen. It felt like sitting in the middle of an airport with people constantly walking or standing over your shoulders. Meanwhile, there were actual tables for two available, but she insisted they only had tables for four. Instead, we were seated in the back of the restaurant near a door that opened every two seconds because it led to the snow globe seating but also to the square with people constantly standing over us. It was ridiculous & this was a table for 2 which they originally claimed the floor didn't have tables for 2 only 4 or more seating. At one point, a server/busser walked in from outside and said, "It's so f***ing busy," right in front of guests. The whole place was a complete mess - just a bunch of clueless staff running around with no direction. Alex the manager, all he had to say after 45 minutes of not even receiving our appetizer said "it's so chaotic because of the event at harmony square". we canceled our order and walked out. First off the place is beautiful. But service is awful and food is worse. Was there Tuesday. Sat upstairs at the bar and Ordered wonton wrapped shrimp. Came out like warm and shrimp tasted rancid. Two bartenders never came by in 20 minutes. The place was not busy. When I complained it took 15 minutes to get a manager to adjustment and then the bartender slapped it on the bar. Didn't say sorry or apologize or anything. This was my second time here. I would go back for drinks only. Plus this place has some sort of special finance deal with the Village of Tinley. Absolutely sooo not worth the trip! Went there on the 13 for bday get together and had the worst experience ever!! Used yo work in the food industry and the complete lack of management and service was unbelievable! We put our name in for a table and they just crossed us out after we went up to the hostess and said we had been waiting for over an hr and a half! We were told they dont do reservations and yet Management decided that they were holding tables!They said we would be the next ones to get a table and then they continued to seat people down the list! We gave up and placed a " to go order" it took 2hrs! And all we got was im sorry were busy! And half the order was cold. And the pizza was messed up! Not even an im sorry, let me give u some $ back . Nope nothing. While we were waiting we heard multiple complaints left and right . So nice place to walk by but dont waste a dime unless apparently u get there when they first open and maybe you'll get lucky with a bunch of hostess who know what they are doing and maybe someone in management that cares about the patrons more then how much he can make in the night!!!​ read more

Durban's rooftop is awesome only if you have drinks and appetizers. The kitchen service is slow and the food isn't very good. Flatbread and pizza bread wasn't good. Make it better at home or from somewhere else. Haley the server was very nice but seemed to have to accommodate too many tables. Maybe because of the holiday weekend they couldn't get anyone to work. I suggest bring your favorite person and friends and stay with the drinks only. read more

The newly-opened Durbins in Harmony Square is fabulous! The rooftop bar area is gorgeous. We have eaten there a couple of times already and the food has been absolutely delicious, especially for the price. Very few places have reasonably priced meals, but still provide the top-notch service and amenities in this manner. The staff at this establishment is professional, friendly, and attentive. They have hit a grand slam with their new establishment. Bravo! read more

Great place but get the service together! Yikes, our order was messed up, and the couple next to us had their order messed up. It took over 30 minutes for a correction and dinner was ruined. We also found a long hair on the plate under our appetizer. When we complained, we received a scripted apology by the manager- not by the waitress. The food we did receive tasted good but pay attention to the description on the menu and what you actually get- it's not the same. Please Durbins, put hair nets on your staff and teach them how to fix mistakes! read more

I was in for lunch today for the first time since the new building opened. Our experience was extremely enjoyable because our server Nehi was amazing. She was informative, professional and has an incredible personality. Fast and efficient and recommended items that we enjoyed. Will be back again and if possible, request Nehi as your server. As a server myself, I'm critical and I have nothing but positive things to say. This weekend is the harmony square opening. She will be working. You'll be lucky to find a better server. She speaks highly of the way the place is ran and how well she is treated by the owners. That means so much to a server. ​ read more

5 stars for the igloo, rooftop and venue. That is where it ends. I had reservations for 12 for an igloo. Told they were heated. They moved us into the bride's room because it was so cold . 3 little heaters and only 2 working. The tents at other restaurants during Covid had the right kind of heaters. We had 4pm reservations. At 5pm, still no drinks or food order. I found a manager and told her my concern. She never introduced herself or came up to talk to us.. The food was average bar food. I was told they were behind because it was a bears game and they were busy. Sounds like a management problem. Our waitress D was wonderful and kept apologizing. Harmony Square is such a nice addition to T.P. It is a a disappointment to have that kind of a venue in that area. They did adjust our bill . Never again.. The igloo for 12 had a table and chairs for 6. I guess the rest of us were supposed to eat on our laps on the couches. They ultimately gave a a significant discount on our bill reflecting an acknowledgement of our disasterous experience. We did appreciate that. read more
