I came here with a couple friends in search of good and drinks. The waiter/Assistant Manager, I believe his name was Shawn, was super cool. Nice sense of humor and he was quick and efficient. They've been open about 2 months. We all ordered wings and a round of drinks. The menu prices are reasonable. Whole wings come with a side. They also had party wing options. It's a pretty large restaurant. It'll be great for a birthday party or large gathering. TouchTunes was available for those with the app. The bar selection was OK but could definitely use a little improvement in selections for spirits. The place was clean. Parking was good and they even had slots available. Women's bathroom could use some attention. The door didn't lock and it's 1 soap dispenser. Otherwise, I'd add this place to one of my list when visiting the Chicago suburban area.

A friend and I attended a special event here. I believe it's done on Wednesdays. I do believe they have events happening here daily if you check their event page. But on this particular night they had to open forum or they had a young lady hosting that was throwing out relationship, a type questions and asking for input. And also if you wanted to remain anonymous, you can put your answers in a hat. During this event they had drink specials which we partake in. I think the drinks were between 5:00 and $7 and then the food was regular price. For that particular night. It was pretty good. No complaints

Drinks are pretty pricy. Nice Ambiance, at times they get a nice crowd. The food is mediocre at best though.

A few teens may occasionally come in but most aren't. This is popular with the locals and matures. Coming here certainly makes one think about how they stay in business. It's often got an empty parking lot. Thankfully they were open when I got there. It looks like a basic family owned business. They have been running it for years. It's about $12 for the Spaghetti. This is basic and filling thankfully. Great place to get homestyle Americanized food and beyond. It's open daily unlike almost every other restaurant around here. There's basic American food that's got mediocre seasoning but people like it or whatever.

That sounded promising, and since they're under new management, we figured we'd give them another try for dinner. Big mistake. They haven't improved at all--in fact, they've gone downhill. What they served as a "New York strip" was the same thin steak you'd expect with a steak‑and‑eggs breakfast. A cigarette is probably the same thickness as the piece of meat they brought me. I ordered it medium‑rare, and it arrived with a gray center. They did offer to re‑cook it, but I wasn't about to go through that. There's simply no way to cook a steak that thin like an actual steak, so I didn't even bother letting them try again. The place was practically empty on a Friday night--just one older man and a couple tucked away in a corner. Honestly, the empty parking lot should've been our warning. Total fail. Never again.

When we entered we were well greeted by two of the staff. Very friendly and professional people. And although the outside of the business is somewhat plain the inside is really nice. Well lit with a nice layout and atmosphere. I nice mural on the wall as well. My wife ordered the 2 pc white chicken and waffle. For some reason they consider a wing as white meat? Anyhow, you get a wing and a huge breast with a waffle. The chicken is fried and the batter has a nice taste to it. The breast was way over cooked and dry however. But overall it was good at a price of $8.99. I had the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Its served on a regular hamburger bun and the chicken was extremely small. Most of the sandwich was the bun. It was good well and tasted delicious. It comes with a small amount of fries all for $10.99. This item is way over priced and not at all worth the cost. I would value this at $7-$8. Both of our orders were extremely fresh. Cooked to order. It took 30 minutes from order time to get the food which is too long. Neither of us will order these items again but we will return to try other menu items. And the key here is to call in and order ahead.

My niece and I couldn't believe this was our first visit, especially after hearing so many great things. This place is incredibly popular, so I definitely recommend making reservations. After checking in, we waited less than five minutes and struck up a fun conversation with two lovely ladies who were also first-timers. It was the perfect start to the evening. The atmosphere is warm, lively, and inviting, with Mardi Gras beads and colorful carnival masks throughout the restaurant that give it so much character. Our server was fantastic. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name, but he was friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations made choosing from so many tempting options much easier. Now let's talk about the food... EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious! To kick things off, I ordered the Creole Voodoo Zombie, and my niece had the Hurricane. Both cocktails were fantastic and set the tone for an amazing meal. My niece is an excellent cook herself and has dietary restrictions, so dining out can often be disappointing. That's what made this experience even more special--she genuinely loved every bite. We started with the crab cake appetizer and the BBQ shrimp appetizer, and both were packed with incredible flavor. For my entrée, I ordered the blackened ribeye, swapping the broccolini for the collard greens (worth the $3 upcharge!). The steak was perfectly cooked, and those collard greens were phenomenal. My niece chose the blackened red snapper étouffée, and she couldn't stop raving about it. Even though we were completely full, we couldn't leave without dessert. We shared the Mississippi Mud Turtle Brownie topped with marshmallow fluff and the strawberry shortcake. Our server suggested pairing the brownie with a butterscotch liqueur, and I'm so glad I took his recommendation--it was the perfect finishing touch and complemented the dessert beautifully. We've been talking about this meal ever since we left...and that's probably the biggest compliment I can give. In fact, we were so impressed that we made reservations for next weekend before we even left--and we're bringing two friends with us! Perfect for: Date nights, celebrations, or anytime you want a memorable meal that's worth planning ahead for. Maple Tree Inn absolutely lived up to the hype. 10/10--highly recommend!

My last visit was when they were still on Old Western Ave in Blue Island--way overdue for a return. Let's start with the food--absolutely delicious. The three of us kicked things off with the Cast Iron Cornbread, and trust me, don't skip it. Perfectly done and a great start to the meal. For mains, we went with the Pitmaster's N'awlins Gumbo, Hickory Buttered BBQ Shrimp, and Burnt Ends. Every dish was spot on--flavorful, well-executed, and clearly made with care. The restaurant itself is pristine--clean, polished, and classy without feeling stuffy. Service was just as strong. Our server, Nick, was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Safe to say, it will NOT be another 30 years before my next visit. Highly recommend.

The soul rolls are some of the best. I appreciate that they did not put a dusting of powdered sugar on them, although they did have a sugar dipping sauce on the side. The fried catfish was divine. The crust was out of this world. My hat goes off for the collard greens that were seasoned nicely and the sweet potatoes that weren't overly sugary. I noticed they stopped putting in-house dining meals in to-go containers.
