Took this for granted. Then we made a lens adjustment due to my brand being discontinued. It went badly for no reason related to her and it was frightening as hell. They got back to me immediately, got me reseen immediately, and she talked me off the emotional ledge. I thought I had permanent damage. It's been hard to follow all the series of different contacts we have tried and we have to order them, get them, and retry them, but she and the staff have been unbelievably kind and patient. I sound like an 85 year old writing this but I am not. Just a regular person who had a bad contact lens experience and am very very grateful for them coming through until we get it fixed. Bravo, Dr. Palgon and the office staff. Please know how much you do matters! If you are considering her office, this is the highest praise and recommendation I give. Book with her now for weeks from now.

From the moment I met her, she was incredibly warm, kind, and attentive. She took the time to really listen to my concerns and provided excellent, thorough care. During my visit, Dr. Allyson noticed something concerning and immediately arranged for me to see another specialist and have additional tests done -- all on the same day. Her quick action and genuine concern made a huge difference. What truly amazed me was that she even called later that evening to check on me -- to see how I was feeling and to review what the tests had shown. It's rare to find a doctor who combines such professionalism, expertise, and heartfelt compassion. The eye glass rep told me that the Meta smart glasses would be soon offered by Oakley and not just Ray-Ban. They needed one more eye glass rep working since it was busy.

They charged me FULL retail for my exam. I had to submit my charges to the insurance company, that only reimbursed me for the "Reasonable & Customary", $150. I have purchased thousands of dollars worth of frames and lenses from Jazzy Eyes over the past 45 years. The least they could have done was charge me the $150 that my insurance covered. They have zero flexibility for their good long time customers. It is not a matter of the money, this will not break me. It was the idea that if they do not take your insurance they charge you a high retail price. For a routine annual visit. So sad. In the past, Jazzy Eyes used to have the largest selection of really funky glass. Their selection has been reduced and many of their brands that they used to carry, they do not have anymore. $50 dollars cost them my business. I am sorry to go, it is just a matter of principle. In closing, there is more competition today for eye exams and glasses. Before choosing Jazzy Eyes check around for your best options. I have added this business to my "do not recommend " list.

What an incredible waste of time I don't know why they confirmed that they took my insurance when they don't and then waited till the day before my appointment to let me know they don't take my insurance.. Clearly this woman was lying to me about calling and leaving me messages.

I've been getting eye migraines from too much screen time (anyone else?) so I decided to finally come back for an eye check-up. I haven't been back since 2018, so I was excited at the thought of getting some new frames. Healthcare is one of those categories of businesses where you usually find your provider through your insurance or through recommendations and I can say that I wholeheartedly recommend this office. Everyone is friendly and appointments are a breeze to schedule and go through. Dr. Betancourt is such a gem of a doctor & really takes her time to go through any concerns you may have plus answer questions with what is happening. She answered all my questions and helped me find a possible solution to my light sensitivity and eye migraines. They gave me two different sets of prescriptions (one for nighttime driving & one for computer/screen use, thanks astigmatism!) They also help if you have any problems with your current frames and have pads for glasses to purchases in case yours fall off. Thank you Pines Vision Care for amazing eye care everytime! Pro tip: Don't plan on doing anything for a few hours after an appointment if you're getting your eyes dilated! It might be common sense but I learned this the hard way haha
