I did read several of the (1) star reviews prior to arranging the appointment which more or less stated that the customers either could not get a response from the company or that there was some sort of scheduling issue. I should have listened to my gut and stayed away. This is definitely not a company that I would put my trust in.

The previous cleaners hired by my former tenants left the studio unit with greasy cabinets and countertops, food spills, trash, and accumulated dust, cobwebs, and soil that needed to be addressed to bring the unit to a reasonable move-out condition. She sent me an invoice via email to pay $100 deposit. On day of cleaning, Dennis texted me that his team of brother of sister were here. Male employee who was originally from Panama did a good job of cleaning 1 bathroom, cleaning windows and vacuuming for bedroom and living room. He called Dennis to let him know that 2nd bathroom with walk in shower was super dirty. Dennis texted me that I will be charged a little more for deep cleaning. Female employee did a great job on cleaning walk in shower Both of employees went over 2 hours by 30 minutes to finish. My amended invoice was $340.41 with tax.

I came home with my kids after a long day of work and still had to throw out the garbage and deal with dirty floors. When I contacted the company and sent photos, they blamed the issues on the fact that I hadn't done a walkthrough, and they did not offer to correct the problems. She was again very apologetic and did send me a partial refund for the damage to our fixtures and assured me she had made some changes to how her crew would be cleaning these things in the future. I feel totally confident in using J &G again. They are very credible and very professional. Decided on them after reading all the positive reviews. While they did a pretty good job of cleaning our house after renters had moved out, they did damage the finish on several of our chrome fixtures. I specifically asked the crew that was sent out if they used abrasives to clean the fixtures and was told "no" but after inspecting the first bathroom they cleaned noticed scratches all over the faucets and bathtub fixtures. One of them showed me the green scouring pad they used to take off the water spots! After speaking to the owner, Jessica, she apologized and told me she would give me a discount/refund. That was two weeks ago and still haven't seen a check. But they did a nice job cleaning our blinds and patio screen tracks (which costs extra). Wish they had stopped cleaning when they saw they were scratching the finish on our fixtures though.

It was some money but honestly it was worth it because their crew showed up early and were very efficient in their cleaning which took about 5 hours total to do the move out cleaning with included pet cleaning/flea treatment for the new owner. At one point they accidentally broke one of my glass ceiling fan light covers which was concerning but without even telling me they had already gone out to buy not one but three new ones just in case they didn't match and reinstalled!
