Ladies, I've found my stylist! A few days ago I had my first curly cut done my Dustin. I wasn't sure on how to find one I can trust, but after I read all his reviews I knew this was it for me. Just off this one cut my hair already feels so much more healthier and voluminous. From start to finish my experience was amazing and he even got me in with a same-day appt. Before we had even met he was already being very attentive and sending me ideas of what I should get which was very much appreciated since I had no clue. Once he started the cut, we passed the time by talking about new ways of treating my hair and styling it. He makes you feel super comfortable to speak freely and ask questions, such a great person overall. So Dustin is super awesome and a great guy. My problem is with whatever is is being taught of how to cut curly hair. I explained in the beginning I don't like face framing layers and that I wanted more volume in the back. That I don't like short in the front and long in the back. Somehow after feeling like I was comfortable I ended up with what looks like the ugly stage of growing out bangs. Plenty of people seem happy going here but I'd suggest anyone who wants to keep they're length looking good from all angles should not. What can I say, Dustin is the curly hair guru! Not only does he make he feel comfortable and like your at home in the very cute and trendy salon but he has the knowledge and skill to go along with that hospitality! I was a little nervous at first because it was more than I usually spend to get my hair done but just by seeing his past reviews and the photo evidence I knew I was in good hands. One thing I really appreciate about Dustin is that he really gets to know you and your personality to help you figure out the best styling techniques and style to rock your curly locks. He made my hair way healthier than it's been in a long time and my curls loved it! I grew up with a mom who had a different curl texture for me so it was hard for her (at no fault of her own) to help me manage my curls. I love the time he spent going over the steps to styling to make the haircut continue to pop after his work had been washed away! If you've been struggling with your curly/wavy hair and need that guidance he will give you tips and advice for better hair days.
