There was 2 of us and we went inside for the first time around 2:35. Waited about 5 minutes to order, no big deal. The complaint is that we waited nearly 30 minutes until I went back up to the counter and asked where our 2 drinks were. The girls at the counter were very nice, and brought the drinks on out. We didnt leave until 3:15. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but having to wait 30 minutes for 2 drinks while the drive thru seemed steady was very irritating. This time I could cold crew nitro and it was delicious. We choose the drive-thru so don't have much info about the ambiance. A staff member will take your order at the start of the drive-thru and you will get in-line with other cars. And finally at the last window you will be able to pick your order. They typically have two drive thru lanes and a walk up window. Service has been fine so far, workers seem nice. It can get quite busy and the drive thru lines long, but so far I've been lucky. This location is our go-to when visiting family in the area (we fuel up for our road trip home). We've visited late at night and early in the evening, and we've never had too long of a wait. The parking lot is extremely small, but there are a handful of parking spots across from the drive-thru window, so if you need to pull over for something, you can. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful (one time they even handed out samples - very exciting to us, haha). I've tried many different drinks and could recommend a couple but I haven't found my signature drink yet.. I like iced teas, so I would say a iced sf peach green tea or a iced sf strawberry raspberry black tea, iced sf vanilla earl grey seems posh! LOL The lids are eco friendly so you probably won't need to use a straw, or you could ask for no lid or straw if you want, they won't take reusable cups even if it was purchased from them but they'll pour your drink into your cup while you hold your cup if you want. (Haven't tried this yet, let me know if you do) Ordered hot chocolate for the kids it was okay next time I'll ask for cream added. Hot coffees on cold mornings are perfect treat to pep me up and get me going. I might have a keto americano with sf syrup. The only drink I ordered I didn't like was picture perfect as is because it was too sweet! I tried it again half sweet honestly not what I prefer. On our way to Solvang. Then we went there and it was the first location ever seen that you could go into order so that was interesting and we went into order and I got my usual we're just picture perfect I love that one and then my sister try something new, which is salted caramel breve, and she said that it was pretty good, but she liked her golden eagle more. Been going to this location for the last couple of years, and they're mostly consistent with the drinks...but more recently there's been a shift in the vibes from the employees, they're off! And many familiar faces are gone! I attempted to ask one of the employees (a remaining familiar face) what was going on. I'm Dutch obsessed. I feel like I have probably gone to 30 different Dutch locations at this point. It is my fav coffee place of all time. Banaynays and sweater weathers.... It's more than an obsession. This one has a cool indoor/ outdoor seating area that I've only ever seen at one other location (because it was prior BK location). The garage doors roll up to make it more outdoor. Tons of chill seating here. However, the parking lot design sucks. It's a one way in and one way out loop around the building. BUT they push two lanes of drive through around the back side, leaving no room to get around if you park in the lot. So, instead, I parked at the bank next door and walked over. Want to start of by saying all the staff were super friendly and open to giving drink recommendations! We found ourselves conversating with both the cashier and order taker. I ordered the Vanilla Cold Brew with a soft top to which I was recommended. A soft top is whip cream that you can enjoy of the top of your drink. I found the cold brew to be quite watered down to the point where it was practically tasteless. Honestly the worst dutch bros location I've ever been to. I've been here a handful of times, each time willing to give this location another chance and each time leaving with regret and disappointment. Today was the last straw as I didn't even place an order. I had been waiting in the drive through line for about 5 minutes waiting for the broista who was heading inside as I pulled up. The wait was not the issue. A car had pulled up just as soon as the broista walked out and their order got taken first. I thought dutch bros had a rule to service a car from each lane at a time, but I guess now they just service whichever car is closest. If I had known that, I would know to always choose the closest lane. The coffee would've probably been disappointing anyway, so I took it as my sign to just leave the store and take my money elsewhere. read more

After hearing many great things about Dutch Bros Coffee, I had to try it for myself. Let me preface by saying that I am not a drip coffee drinker, but do enjoy the variety of lattes and specialty drinks from Coffee Bean or Starbucks. Let me get right to it.... The menu. This is nothing fancy or over the top. It offers drinks, smoothies, cold brew, and a few specialty drinks with a few non-dairy options. They do NOT serve drip coffee for those of you who just want the good ole plain drip coffee. We ordered the following: 1) Vanilla Cold Brew with Almond milk: Pretty bland. It tasted watered down and had no kick of the coffee flavor. 2) Iced Oat Milk Cocomo: Couldn't taste the espresso, any chocolate flavor, and the oat milk was very watered down, making the drink very bland. 3) Goldn Eagle: Okay, this one was okay. I still couldn't taste the espresso, but maybe the caramel flavor made up for it? If I had to compare Dutch Bros to Starbucks or Coffee Bean, hands down Starbucks or Coffee Bean wins my vote because their drinks just taste better, don't taste watered down, and the espresso flavors are more intense. If you don't mind the long lines, not looking for drip coffee, and less intense espresso flavors, then this place may be for you. For me, I will pass and won't return. I do want to point out that I admire Dutch Bros philanthropy efforts and focus on reducing their environmental impact. Their commitment to give back to the community is truly admirable! read more
